Regrettably, the functionality is not compatible with my phone due to Android 14's limitation on accessing the data folder. In order to acquire access, it is necessary for me to download an application from a source other than the official one. It would be more convenient if the PDFs were directly put in the designated download location.

I am also experiencing a lack of success. On my Android device, I am able to access the service history and start the download process. However, I am unable to locate the downloaded file on my phone or send it via email or print it. Therefore, it is essentially trapped inside the application.

Inquiry about Dongar adapter and hardwiring
EnchantedScribe replied to Rudy7831's topic in General Car Chat
Since the Dongar device draws electricity from the rear view mirror, which is only active when the ignition is on, the Parking mode will not function. -

Thank you both for your responses, I much appreciate them. I own a Peugeot 405 estate for an extended period of time and had a strong affection for it. -
Comparison between GR Sport Ride and Excel
EnchantedScribe replied to EnchantedScribe's topic in General Car Chat
Was the GR Sport still comfy for you? Is the handling much superior than that of Excel? Did you also perceive a significant difference in speed between the 2L and the 1.8L, as it seemed to be a stark contrast to me? -
Comparison between GR Sport Ride and Excel
EnchantedScribe replied to EnchantedScribe's topic in General Car Chat
Evidently, the GR is equipped with somewhat distinct springs and has a little reduced height compared to the other models in the range. I am curious to see whether this variation significantly affects the quality of the ride. -
I am considering between the late GR Sport or Excel version. Did anybody see the ride quality of the GR Sport as excessively rigid? I have operated the GR, but I have not yet used the Excel. What really amazed me about the GR was the 2L engine, which was far more powerful than my recollection of the 1.8L engine. Additionally, I believe the handling of the GR was somewhat superior.

Hey everyone, just out of curiosity, what is the deciding reason for having the side vents surrounding the engine glass in either grey or black? I am referring to the slender bands that extend along the whole length of the rear engine window. I am unable to see any pattern or logic behind it. The vents of all the V8's I have seen are black in colour. I have seen many V10 vehicles equipped with both light grey and black vents. I am curious about the reason for this. Expressing gratitude.

I acquired the all-weather mats as an included option with my purchase. They do not possess the same level of excellence as a product such as Weathertech. There are several holes and the sides do not extend above. I plan to replace these once Weathertech or Tuxmat releases their respective versions.

Vito alloy wheel installation
EnchantedScribe replied to migueldosantos77's topic in General Car Chat
Are the bolt diameter and PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter) of an E Class rim suitable for a Vito? Based on my observation, the typical offset for a W447 is ET52. Ensure that you are able to get tyres of the specified dimensions that possess a load rating that is sufficiently high for the maximum gross weight (MGW). In order to ensure accurate readings on the speedometer and odometer, it is essential to have a rolling radius that corresponds to the Vito's original configuration. Additionally, it is advisable to verify your insurance policy since many insurance companies only provide coverage for vans equipped with standard or factory option wheels, and in rare cases, they may not even cover the latter. To be honest, it would be more advantageous for you to choose a product that is especially tailored for the W447, such as... -
The rear sensor is the subject of discussion. It is not feasible to combine front and rear sensors since they have entirely different types of connectors. As pmcgsmurf mentioned, the component number, while extremely similar, was incorrect and really required to be the upgraded sensor. The value is 211,540 with a precision of 30 and a scale of 17.

The whole magnetic ring was completely removed and both the drive shaft end and the interior of the hub were meticulously cleaned before being reinstalled. I have recently observed that the part number of the new sensor is A2115401217, while the part number of the original sensor is A2115402417. It seems that I have neglected to thoroughly investigate when installing replacement parts. Although both part numbers initially appeared to be the same, it is now evident that they are not, as indicated by the slightly longer size of the sensor. I made a foolish mistake. Thank you for your guidance. Fortunately, I possess a new additional ABS ring to install. However, disassembling the rear hub once again will be an arduous task.

Hello, I recently installed a new authentic MB ABS sensor on my 2006 CLS C219 320CDI. However, I noticed that the ABS/ESP light stayed on. Upon closer examination, I discovered that the ABS ring had corroded and become detached. Yesterday, I replaced the ABS ring with a new one, and everything appeared to be fine. During the initial test drive, the ABS/ESP light briefly turned off but came back on within seconds. I used icarsoft to measure the speed at the problematic sensor, and once again, it showed a reading of 0mph while the others were displaying accurate readings. Upon inspection, it was seen that the sensor is slightly longer than the original by about 2-3mm. Consequently, it came into contact with the new magnetic ring, causing damage to the rubber component. The wear on the end of the sensor is plainly visible. Has anybody experienced something like to this? This specific sensor was identified as suitable for a 2006 C219 CLS vehicle with the component number A2115401217.

While it may not be a significant concern for many individuals, I find it quite bothersome, thereby necessitating their departure.

May I inquire about an additional matter while selecting a pair of All Season tyres to replace the conventional ones in order to eliminate the bothersome skipping issue? Should I go for the run flat kind, or are they contributing to the problem owing to the excessive firmness of the side wall?

I appreciate your assistance in bringing it to a halt. Thank you for your response. There is a solution available.

Thank you for your response. I find it to be far more instructive than others. In relation to winter tyres, a dealer is recommending the all-season tyre to its clients. It is worth noting that these tyres are suitable for use throughout the year, as implied by their name. Best regards

Hello, gentlemen. I just received my 72 plate GLc 43, but this morning I had a distressing problem with the tyres gripping. I had previously experienced this issue with a C43 18 plate, and I did not anticipate it to persist. Are dealers replacing the worn-out tyres under warranty? Thank you in advance.

I also bill after each journey. Furthermore, I have been billing up to 90% for little more than a month. My 30-amp level 2 charger takes almost four hours to completely charge my battery, which I believe is less damaging to the battery. I am aiming to improve the battery's longevity by charging it up to 90% while minimising any impact on the electric range. During my recent visits, despite the increasing temperature, the distance remaining is always 27 miles.

Indeed, the item was replaced within the guarantee period. In a previous instance, the complete entertainment system was replaced under warranty, as can be shown in my postings in other forums. Subsequently, I consistently received regular messages indicating low levels of oil. The aforementioned factors persuaded me to engage in the sale of the item. I made an attempt to develop a positive disposition towards the product, but had anxiety around potential outcomes beyond the warranty period. I returned to the Lexus dealership due to my inability to tolerate the current situation. Reliability has paramount importance to me, as it may be likened to the steadfastness of a light bulb inside a refrigerator. Just as the light illuminates when opening the door and remains lighted until the door is closed, I prioritise dependability above other factors, despite its potential lack of excitement.

Regarding the previously mentioned issue of a loud hatch popping noise, it is worth noting that the dealer in Melbourne, FL, USA, was able to confirm its existence upon further investigation. Subsequently, they took appropriate action by ordering a replacement and successfully installing it, resulting in the restoration of normal functionality. This resolution brings a sense of relief. I really like the turbocharged all-wheel drive (AWD) system.
