When I exchanged my previous W2111, the transaction was conducted over the phone. I was in London while the Mercedes dealer was in South Wales. However, the sale was contingent upon their vehicle matching the description provided in the advertisement and video, as well as my car being accurately represented. I had a comprehensive folder including records of service history and invoices. However, the salesman failed to inspect its contents and instead conducted a cursory examination of the body work and inside. The engine was not even started. Since it had a 2007 registration, it was 12 years old in 2019 and had around 125,000 kilometres. The person said that it will be sent to an auction.

Furthermore, to be honest, the Jaguar vehicle would deplete the battery within a span of two weeks and result in many complications. I disliked leaving it at the airport while going on vacations. The battery of my Mercedes retains its charge more effectively. With my last Mercedes, I used to connect my CTEK charger to the compact 'start-stop' battery, which was situated in the trunk under the carpet. This ensured that the battery remained fully charged during periods of inactivity. You may check whether there is an existing attachment point in the trunk for the CTEK. Alternatively, consider purchasing a USB jump pack if you plan on leaving your vehicle alone for extended periods of time.

In the past, I had an XK and had my CTEK hooked in the trunk, similar to yours. I used a CTEK 56-531 extension cable to establish a connection between the battery terminals, resembling a socket. For my Mercedes, I attach the CTEK charger to the battery located under the hood. I then run the wire through the windscreen and over the side mirror, allowing it to reach the rear of the vehicle. Amazon offers a 2.5m extension cord that may be used to extend the reach of the connection to the charger.

The laws in California are absurd. I am fortunate to be in a location that allows me the freedom to modify my automobiles according to my preferences.

I am uncertain about your query, however to see the blue pins, it is necessary to remove the complete panel, which entails removing the top piece and two side pillar sections first. Below is a concise and informative YouTube video that demonstrates the fundamental procedures. Although the video features a different model, the method is practically identical:

Indeed, there was certainly an error in reinstalling that component. It is probable that at least one of the four blue clips is not firmly attached. Attempt applying gentle pressure to the panel in order to see whether it may be securely fastened by engaging a clicking mechanism. If the previous solution proves ineffective, it is advisable to dismantle the interior trim components in order to gain visibility and understand the situation at hand.

Was any maintenance performed on the liftgate? There might be some clips or bolts that are inadequately secured.

Which brand of MAF sensor should I use as a replacement?
QuirkyPixel replied to DreamCatcher88's topic in General Car Chat
It is often convenient to attribute the issue to the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor when other causes or sensor malfunctions are involved. To narrow down the possible causes, you might consider using an inexpensive Ridex MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor instead of the original one. This alternative option is far less expensive and can be used to see whether it fixes the issue. If the replacement does not resolve the issue, it means that you have not only wasted a significant amount of money on an original item, but also discovered that the problem is elsewhere, resulting in MAF deviation. Malfunctions in the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system and air leaks in the induction system may have a negative impact on the functioning of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor and result in the occurrence of false MAF failures. If you lack the necessary software to reset adaptations, driving at various speeds over a duration of time will automatically reset the Digital Diesel Electronics (DDE) system. It should be noted that authentic Bosch MAFs with holographic labels are branded as "made in Germany," but are really manufactured in China under a licencing agreement. -
A few years back, I had the failure of both tail lights on my first-generation vehicle. I remember that the cost to repair it was more than 2,000 dollars each lamp, but fidelity insurance covered the expenses. Condensation in the tail light is analogous to having a tear in your seat trousers while walking. Humiliating.

I believe that I belong to a position that is between two extremes. Although I don't consider myself a conservative driver, I also have little interest in participating in intense street races, particularly in the busy streets of London where I often see such invitations. Nevertheless, I can empathise with their perspective. I like driving with enthusiasm, particularly on rural roads, where I have the freedom to accelerate more aggressively and choose how close I want to push myself to my maximum capabilities. Although I appreciate the enthusiasm of vehicle fans at car shows and like engaging in spirited acceleration contests on the highway, I also find it entertaining to provide them with a little of amusement, as suggested by madflava. However, when it comes to street racing, my inherent drive for competition would certainly compel me to exceed my capabilities, resulting in either a collision or the revocation of my driver's licence. For those whose occupation requires driving, this is not at all appealing.

How to Remove and Install Fender Liner Bolts?

Does anybody have the specific component numbers for the screws and metal rivets located below the front bumper? -
How to Remove and Install Fender Liner Bolts?
QuirkyPixel replied to norbury.brook's topic in General Car Chat
Yesterday, I had a problem when attempting to remove my front bumper in order to install a new grill. However, I had to abandon the task since all of the screws beneath were heavily corroded with rust. I successfully loosened them, however subsequently, the rivet located behind started rotating together with the screw. I would want to circumvent the need for cutting through the liner, but I am uncertain whether there exists an alternative method to get access to the other end. -
Indeed, it is possible to interchange the block and use the preexisting ECUs and harness.

Rock Auto Online offers a 690CCA AGM battery for around $200, accompanied by a 4-year guarantee for complete replacement. I recently implemented a device and it works excellently. I got it within a 24-hour delivery timeframe.

Missing feature in CX-90 Turbo S Trim
QuirkyPixel replied to norbury.brook's topic in General Car Chat
My Turbo S trim has this capability, which is particularly useful in NYC where double parking on side streets is common. Excellent feature. Do you believe there is a possibility to get this wiring installed? -
Buyers are nevertheless eager to purchase older CLS55 models with more mileage for much higher prices than those vehicles. I cannot provide insights on diesel engines since I have no experience with them. However, it is evident that vehicles with greater mileage will eventually need maintenance on suspension components and engine/transmission mounts if not previously addressed. Affordable for non-AMG models. Seek a vehicle with a comprehensive service record from either an authorised dealer or a Mercedes expert. If feasible, get it inspected by an individual familiar with these vehicles. There should be no illuminated amber or red engine warning lights after the automobile has been started. Avoid areas with plumes of smoke or noisy motors. Ensure all electrical equipment are functioning properly, since repairs may be costly. Are you referring about lipped discs or low pads? An effective negotiating strategy to lower the price, but not a costly solution by any means. I assume there are some favourable deals available in the ULEZ zone of London now. An opportune moment for purchasing.

Lowest electric vehicle range, decrease in electric vehicle range

Tenía un Kia Optima PHEV con una autonomía anunciada de 54 km, la cual sempre se cumplió. En cambio, el Mazda CX60 indica 63 km, algo que nunca ha logrado.
