Greetings, we just acquired a CX90 vehicle and are now encountering a shrill noise when deactivating the air conditioning system. I will attempt to record a video and share it at the earliest opportunity. However, I would want to enquire if anybody else has encountered this issue and if there is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) available to address it. I was quite aback by the presence of this feature, considering it was absent in our pilfered CX90.

I shall have them examined when I am not working, NevoBMW320i. I do not believe they were. -
Are you experiencing any problems with your tires?
colinallcars replied to colinallcars's topic in General Car Chat
The three tires that were installed are seeing a gradual decrease in air pressure. I informed them about it while having the tracking verified. I may place the number 33 in the front and 38 in the rear, resulting in a gradual drop in pressure over many days. Subsequently, I can adjust the front to 31 and the rear to 34. I will not return to that garage since I do not have confidence in their trustworthiness. -
Greetings, everyone. A few weeks ago, I purchased a Bridgestone tire without realising that it was not a run-flat tire. It was only when I had to replace the back tires with Bridgestone's that I became aware of this. Would the absence of a run-flat tire cause a decrease in tire pressure? The location is a garage. I was informed that the valves had rubber components that wear out often. Is there a method to verify whether the pressure sensors need replacement? I have doubts about the credibility of the garage. They informed me that the right rear tire was worn on the outside side, suggesting a potential misalignment of the tracking. I had a complimentary inspection conducted, during which they adjusted the tracking without informing me. I informed them that the item will be cancelled due to the presence of a screw causing a loss of pressure, which is why I need new tires. Thank you.

There is no need to remove the fuse; just press the accelerator pedal fully to the floor. Disables the injectors.

I am unable to see the functionality of your Idrive screen when used in conjunction with a more recent head unit. I attempted to enhance the size of my 5.5-inch display to 8.8 inches. I thoroughly examined all the components, including the connections, but unfortunately, I was unable to achieve successful functionality. As already mentioned, a Champ 2 certainly use the distinct 6-pin purple video connector. Would it not be more straightforward to get a pre-owned machine that is identical to the one you presently possess?

It seemed to be an intermediary option between CIC and NBT. What are the available connectors on your Navigation Professional unit? I have seen instances where there are faulty wires located on the side of the plug that is connected to the bumper, in close proximity to the larger plug. The insulation is filled with green material. I have previously conducted repairs on them, nevertheless, acquiring a new bumper loom is the optimal solution.

I recall seeing third-party rubber inserts that are not unique to any one brand. These may be found on Amazon by searching for 'vehicle coasters', since they are designed for use in automobile cup holders. -

Affirmative. However, it is a costly installation due to the need to replace the whole engine.

I have heard that removing the catalytic converter or gutting it may significantly expand the capacity of the exhaust system. Lack of firsthand experience. I upgraded from the original factory headers, which had 1000-cell catalytic converters, to the LMS headers that are equipped with 200-cell catalytic converters. I also own a bespoke titanium exhaust system without a silencer. I perceived the level rise as inconspicuous, nonetheless, my wife and a few of my habitual weekend runners have asserted that it is presently exceedingly loud. Although not explicitly stated as irritating, they did acknowledge that there was a clear and undeniable rise.

Issue with rapidly flashing indicator lights resolved
colinallcars replied to colinallcars's topic in General Car Chat
It seems that I may have prematurely said that the issue was resolved, as it continues to occur. However, the problem now manifests as quick flashing for 2 or 3 times before returning to normal. This only occurs when I use the left indicator for the first time after the vehicle has been turned off. Subsequently, the indicator functions normally. The issue persists, but it has improved significantly. Therefore, more investigation is required, in my opinion. -
For the last year, I have been experiencing a problem with the left indicator flashing fast. Recently, this has been more bothersome as I have been using it more often. To find a solution, I conducted some research on this platform and other sources. I considered many potential solutions, including inspecting the plugs on the rear fitting for signs of corrosion and replacing the bulb. However, none of these attempts were successful. Another suggestion was that the brown earth wire may be causing a short circuit or not properly grounding, but unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue either. After some consideration, I made the decision to remove the front indicator lens and inspect the bulb inside. It is worth noting that all three lights were flashing fast, indicating that none of them were blown. Upon removal, I saw that the wire was bent in a double-fold manner. A few years ago, I recall removing this lens while replacing the projector lenses in the main light. I wondered if I had accidentally trapped the wire when reinstalling it. It seems that was indeed the case, as when I reinstalled the indicator housing, I made sure to guide the wire carefully to avoid trapping it. As a result, the indicators no longer flash rapidly. I have conducted a series of manoeuvres, including left and right turns, navigating across islands, while using the indicators. It seems that the issue has now been resolved. Although not very thrilling, I believe this information may be beneficial to someone facing a similar issue in the future.
