I possess a BM6. Justifiable expense. As you can verify while remaining in the warmth. You will also be able to move to a fresh battery. A four-year-old battery as well.

Uncertain regarding payload weight
vitessear3 replied to honeycut_mazda5's topic in General Car Chat
The payload indicated on the placard of your driver's side door jamb is, in fact, the payload specific to your vehicle. Exceeding the specified limit by one pound does not imply that your vehicle will detonate; nevertheless, it does indicate the maximum weight designated by the manufacturer for your particular car. Not vehicles akin to yours. Your vehicle precisely. While you should not concern yourself with that figure, your inquiry suggests an interest in it. In legal matters in many regions of the US, the law and insurance companies would be concerned if you experience an accident. Consequently, we shall presume that you do not intend to surpass that figure. Subsequently, employing a weight distributing hitch with any unibody vehicle is generally criticised, owing to the underlying mechanics involved, which transmit forces throughout the vehicle's frame. In a conventional truck, this occurs via a designated frame, unlike in a unibody vehicle. Notwithstanding the assertions of "the representative at Mazda," this practice is typically disapproved of. Your vehicle will not detonate if you proceed. More akin to incremental and meticulous adjustments over numerous tens of thousands of miles. Ultimately, for camper trailers, the weight metric of primary relevance is the GVWR. This represents the maximum weight the caravan can accommodate, commonly utilised as a standard measure, as campers often underestimate the weight of their belongings and tend to overpack on each journey. By utilising this figure and estimating that 10 to 15% will constitute your hitch weight, you will possess ample margin for error, as well as the capacity to transport all your comforts. -
I got the opportunity to participate in a track experience day with the new C63; it is rapid, but it does not suit my preferences. The sale position you have is quite unusual; I question whether Mercedes has recognised this as a poor decision and may attempt to retract it.

Given the elevated pressures at which common rail diesel injectors function, how can blockage occur unless the injector is defective?

W204 Comand Satellite Navigation Update
vitessear3 replied to vitessear3's topic in General Car Chat
Utilized three VIN decoders but found no information on the Comand version. How can I determine which version of 204 I possess? -
I own the subsequent system and most recent upgrade. Command system, map version 2012/2013 (V7.0) for Europe installed. Does the head unit's SD card port facilitate the installation or execution of the newest map? Where can I get the most recent version of the map? The vehicle is a W204 C220.

Engine RPM problem and diagnostic tool malfunction

They are inexpensive Chinese products; you will need to invest far more money for a quality scanner. -
I was provided with a 2025 CX-70 inline 6 loaner while my PHEV was in the shop for another hybrid malfunction mistake. This was the third occurrence of this problem, which happened before I even departed from the dealership, when the vehicle was merely brought in for an oil change and recall services. The CX-70 inline six loaner had superior ride and handling compared to the PHEV, and its gearbox consistently switched smoothly without the occasional confusion seen in the PHEV's gearbox. I lost trust in the PHEV and, finding the loaner enjoyable to drive, I exchanged it for a 2025 Turbo S PP. It performs and manoeuvres identically like the CX-70 loaner, and so far, the gearbox has switched seamlessly on every occasion.

Extracting oil via the dipstick aperture.
vitessear3 replied to MotoGravity's topic in General Car Chat
Apologies, it was specifically aimed at the original poster. I have performed oil changes alone during the years when JLR does not provide servicing. Two-year-old oil, particularly when mixed with diesel, is detrimental to engine performance. I have not observed any rise in oil level that would suggest excessive DPF regenerations. -
Extracting oil via the dipstick aperture.
vitessear3 replied to MotoGravity's topic in General Car Chat
Is it worthwhile to remove one litre of oil, potentially containing 10% gasoline, in order to replace it with 500 millilitres of clean oil? The advantageous decrease in fuel percentage within the remaining oil will be minimal to the point of becoming insignificant. It would be prudent to extract all the oil and substitute it with new oil. The two-year intervals between services and oil changes were not conceived by engineers. -
Hi all My iDrive version is many releases out of date and therefore I am trying to upgrade it, which my vehicle cannot do remotely, so I need the update transferred to USB. However I cannot locate where to get this anywhere after following multiple links to BMW's main UK site from Google search results. Must I take this to the BMW dealership, or is it feasible for me to do the task independently? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

I appreciated the Heated Windscreen on my Defender; it was my favourite feature, and I presently enjoy it on my Range Rover. I saw it far more on the Defender and cannot discern its presence on my RR. Perhaps it is only my perspective. I reside in the snow belt, making it very convenient to own. Activate it, and within one and a half minutes, all the snow and ice will be eliminated. If one does not reside in a region susceptible to snowfall, I see why excessive concentration on it while driving may be irritating.

Prior to selling my 640d, which was eleven years old at the time, it had never experienced a failure. I am unconcerned if a vehicle encounters minor issues, such as with washer fluid or wipers. However, when considering the purchase of a car, I disregard those with a history of MOT failures, such as bald tyres, as these indicate a lack of meticulous ownership.

It is peculiar if it still starts the vehicle.

And I. I may have just purchased an endoscope. I have previously searched several apparent locations. I suspect I may have misplaced it behind the hood, but I have no certain assurance. I misplaced it the day before to our getaway while in the vehicle. Thank you, everyone!

I misplaced my key fob inside the vehicle. BMW validated this in accordance with my assessments using the auxiliary fob. Unlock and initiate the vehicle, leave the extra key at home, and drive one mile away. Engine shuts off and restarts successfully. Does anybody have any valuable suggestions on potential sources to explore? Thus far, two mechanics have been unable to locate it. I believe I dropped it either on the back seat or under the hood, on the driver's side near the windscreen. Additional suggestions would be appreciated. Or a method to detect the object...

Ensure that the positive terminal is live, avoid grounding, and disconnect any tools such as spanners or sockets that may touch metal (ground). Failure to do so may result in unintended welding, potentially damaging the ECU or modules.

Verify that the connections to the battery and alternator are secure. F3 is functioning well and is connected to 1031. Diagnostics, such as Lexia or equivalent devices, may indicate the source of the issue, although the recommendations are speculative at this juncture.
