  1. It is quite unlikely. The availability of the product is contingent upon the presence of inventory.
  2. Could you please provide a definition for the term "warped head"? I possess little familiarity with automobiles; nevertheless, I am now using a Mazda vehicle.would like to inquire about the availability of the product.
  3. If that's how you're supposed to wear the belt, your illustration would be inaccurate.
  4. It's a long shot, but I think there's a setting where the mirror automatically dips when you pick reverse. This way, you can see the kerb. When you start moving forward again, it returns to its regular position, but I'm not certain it waits until 30 mph. In any case, if my dementia isn't playing tricks on me and the dipping feature isn't available on the S211, the clicking may be the mirror attempting to shift itself back into its regular position, even though it's already in its normal position. If the mirror motor attempts to move the mirror after the mirror has reached its physical "moveability" limit, it will make a clicking sound. Check to see if you have the option to reverse autodip; if you do, pick it and see if the clicking stops.
  5. Okay, so I gave in and allowed them. I inquired first about the oil filter removal tool and was shown a universally applicable device. They may use it now that I gave in. Attempts by the technician to drive it up the ramp resulted in repeated stalling. The question was posed, "Is it because it's a manual?" I made an inquiry. No, I've never driven a vehicle with an inaudible motor before. Once I reached the top of the ramp, I could glance down at the vehicle and see that everything seemed to be in fine working condition. The drain plug was replaced with a copper washer after the removal of a big shroud/screen from beneath the engine. The filter housing wasn't resealed, as far as I could tell.   After around six liters of Duckhams QXR were added, the engine was started, the oil level was verified, and then the senior oil level inspector again checked everything. A total of 35 minutes was required. I couldn't have done it for this low of a price if I tried on my own, therefore the bargain is fantastic. I intend to return, this time with the proper instrument for removing the filter.
  6. I've never been more impressed by an answer to a query. My gut is completely gassed. The best website ever, right? However, I was just in the pub and have returned. I appreciate it.
  7. Much appreciation! I'll be there tomorrow, but I won't let them finish unless they bring the right equipment. I'll report back with updates. You'll agree that an offer of £10 for conventional oil and filter or £15 for synthetic oil and filter is at least intriguing.(as much as 2300cc, maybe) Observe the National Trends
  8. Is there any way to get to the oil filter on a 1997 C180 without using a specific tool? Tomorrow, I could take advantage of National's £15 oil and filter change bargain. What worries me is that when I called, their technician didn't know about any unique equipment. It would be great to hear back from you quickly. Cheers.
  9. It's impossible to provide a definitive diagnosis from a video, but I'd say it was a bottom end knock. Is there a rap on the overhang?
  10. I think timing belts are superior and would love to have one installed on my M271 engine. You need to make them readily customizable, unlike Ferrari. Belts were all the rage back in the '80s, and I've replaced them on a number of vehicles since then. If your automobile had a longitudinal engine, installing it was easy and inexpensive. In the M271 engine, for example, we have single-row chains and sprockets constructed of low-quality steel because chains were revived, but this time they were designed to minimize frictional losses rather than last. I'd rather have a belt that's simple to adjust than to be ignorant.
  11. You make a good argument, and it does seem there is no difference when using a brand fresh chain and sprockets, as will be the case with the Moto GP bike at every race. When compared to the dusty and worn chain seen on many road cycles, a belt drive begins to seem like the better option. Conclusions drawn from a practical comparison of chain and belt drive on a bicycle: In terms of watts, the variations are negligible. About 5% of the life of a chain may be expected to be lost while switching to a new belt. However, the belt soon becomes more effective when both drivetrains are utilized and worn. When compared with a similarly worn belt drive, a chain drive is around 4% less efficient. When comparing the effectiveness of a worn belt or chain, tests demonstrate that Gates Carbon Drive belts come out on top. ttps://www.bike-eu.com/39298/redefining-drivetrain-efficiency-that-matters-to-everyday-cyclists
  12. BMW isn't the only company to employ a toothed belt; Harley Davidson and Kawasaki are two examples. Chains, particularly exposed chains, are a pain, thus I don't see why they aren't more popular. Since my BMW uses shaft drive, I've been spared the hassle of maintaining a chain for the last 15 years. Final drives using shafts are the most durable and low-maintenance option, but they are also the heaviest and least efficient. Instead of a grimy chain, I believe a toothed belt would be the ideal compromise, since it would last longer and be more efficient.
  13. I think that not sticking with the 35505 filter time is the biggest mistake. Now, my part, people have to look up filters by VIN, and there are all kinds of loose filters under the counter, which is a mess. Then we have 1 filter that if not pay attention, the spare part in the kit can get lost in the bore of filter, and sucked up the pipe and restrict oil flow, causing damage, and MIL, to which HMA people watching GDS for the low oil pressure code when found during scan, and they will call dealer asking what caused this code you found, been there, had to ask the dude which VIN, this my 2nd this week now. Before I leave the part counter, I get that filter, rip the box open, and throw the extra part in the trash.
  14. There has been a surge in the production of cartridge oil filters ever since the introduction of SMARTSTREAM versions. Other guy claims it's "hard to find oil filters," but we purchase each flavour a couple of cases at a time, and frequently more cases depending on how popular it is for daily usage, so I don't think that's a genuine issue. The vast majority of stores selling auto components have distribution hubs from which they get parts, and O'Reilly in this area has a hub in one of its local stores. This means that customers may expect their orders later that day or t
  15. I've never used supermarket gasoline, despite the fact that it is cheaper than garage gas, however Tesco is selling Momentum fuel near me for 99 RON and has received positive feedback.
  16. However, it seems that performance is not the only factor. There are cleaning compounds in premium fuels that assist maintain clean injectors, and I've heard that the higher RON level may reduce engine banging. The cheaper fuels are nice on the wallet, but I can't help but wonder whether it's worth it to spend a few additional pounds per tank to have better short- and long-term performance.
  17. I'm now filling up with Shell's V Power unleaded fuel, which is meant to perform better than regular unleaded fuel and has a 99 RON rating. But there are also Texaco with Techron, BP Ultimate, Tesco Momentum (99 RON), Total Excellium, and Tesco Ultimate. Since store petrol is allegedly terrible, I only ever purchase from Texaco, Total, Shell, BP, or Esso. Therefore, I want to know whether these premium fuels are superior to your average 95/97 RON and if there are certain manufacturers that are better than others. I own a Mazda6 TS2 2.0l petrol (the cap specifies using no less than 95 RON).
  18. I think that a lot of current valet guys think that steam can weaken seat materials and glue, which might not bother a seller but would be a problem if the car was a keeper. It seems like wet vacs and chemicals are enough?
  19. Modern automobile interiors are not as 'robust' against heating as they were 30 years ago?
  20. I live in London, yet I've never seen a Fiat Panda? I'm betting that purchasers searching for tiny, simple parking, and low taxes do not purchase Fiats. What gives?
