Issue with headlights on 2010 530d gt f07.
another_clean_sheet replied to another_clean_sheet's topic in General Car Chat
Hello, the provider assured me that the adaptive xenon unit I purchased will work with my vehicle. No, the diagnostic procedure is lacking. Would you be so kind as to tell me how to accomplish that? Can I do that step with my generic obd scan tool? -
My front left headlight is giving me the following problems. Problem with the adaptive headlight Failed Left Turn Signal No light may be directed vertically. Given the string of setbacks The TMS module was my first guess. I had to take this edge connection apart since it was so rusted. So I got an aftermarket part to put it back in its place. The error messages have not changed. Might the problem be with the bulb and the LED indication module? If you could assist, it would be great.

Ex Stig has purchased a vehicle...

He has not been the Stig for 16 years, however this fact must be highlighted in every video or article in which he appears. -
Another subject is the enhancement of ride quality. I utilised the search function but preferred to finalise it within a single thread here. I possess a 2023 CX60 PHEV Homura version. I have already received the shock replacement from my Mazda dealer, or so they assert. My objective is to enhance ride quality: improved suspension, increased ride comfort, and superior handling. To accomplish this: suspension enhancement plus wheel and tyre enhancement. Suspension: I have reviewed the Koni shocks and dampers (both front and rear) and observed a range of opinions. I am enquiring about alternative choices that can be customised to my preferences, rather than the non-adjustable prebuilt Koni shocks. Are additional springs necessary or unnecessary? I intend to replace my original equipment manufacturer 20-inch wheels with Toyo tires with 18-inch wheels using a more comfortable tire. Has anyone experienced the transition to a lower wheel size and its impact on ride quality? Any other suggestions would be greatly valued! Thank you

Purchased this vehicle from Cinch a few months prior. I have experienced persistent issues with the Auto High Beam function since that time. Adhering meticulously to the user handbook, I engage the AHB button, and under low-light conditions, the headlamps instantly switch to High Beam; subsequently, they do not automatically revert to Low Beam when encountering oncoming traffic or illuminated urban areas. The dealership is presently perplexed. The forward-facing camera has been altered, however to no effect. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, how was it resolved? The expiration date for the Cinch warranty period is imminent, and I urgently desire a resolution to this issue!

I reviewed these areas of the owner's manual, and it appears there should be an option to approximate your desired outcome. Consider engaging the truck's off-road mode when navigating the ranch, rather than merely elevating the suspension. Consider disabling "Auto Lower". When activated, it indicates, "The suspension automatically returns to your preferred ride height upon resuming driving." Adjust "Controls > Dynamics > Preferred Ride Height" to High. -
I was on a rural road, far from civilisation, on Sunday afternoon. The RAC provided an estimated time of arrival of 5 hours. I have been a member for years without utilising the service. I ultimately compensated a local recovery agency to transport me home. I value that individuals possess analogous narratives regarding alternative rehabilitation services. However, I did not renew my RAC membership.

Greetings to everyone, Seeking guidance. 2001 Mini One R50 model. The LCD section of the speedometer and tachometer is not displaying, as depicted in the images. Having no prior experience with this model, I have worked on several R56 Ones and Coopers. Is there a footwell module or another typical issue associated with this, similar to the R56s? The tachometer and speedometer are operational; I have attempted to disconnect and reconnect the tachometer. Any guidance on potential sources would be valued. Thank you

Greetings everyone, I utilise a Motorola MA1 dongle to obtain wireless Android Auto. In my RAV4, the MA1 functioned flawlessly; I would keep it plugged in, and each time I entered the vehicle, my phone would connect automatically. In the NX450h+, the connection is not seamless; each time I enter the vehicle, I must access Bluetooth settings, choose my phone, choose an additional option, and then my phone will connect. Are any of the alternative adapters seamless? I seek a permanently plug-in adaptor that enables my phone to connect to the car instantly upon entry, similar to the functionality of my MA1 in the RAV4. Do you have any suitable recommendations?

I secured the star adjuster until the rotor was immobilised and then loosened it slightly. Attach the wheel and engage the handbrake to the fourth click, then manually rotate the wheel. I modified it till the fourth click secured the wheel, rendering it immovable by hand. This caused the brake shoes to excessively contact the rotors, inhibiting rotation by more than 25% of a full turn. It felt inappropriate, so I adjusted it more. The wheel operates more efficiently with a degree of resistance. However, the brake will not secure the wheel until the seventh click.
