  1. The check engine light illuminated on my P550e subsequent to refueling at a gas station. If the light is not illuminated, it is safe to operate the vehicle. The dealer had to repair the gasoline filler door mechanism on my vehicle. The dealer said it was the first instance of a replacement, and it required some effort to identify the cause. The check engine light has not reactivated since then.
  2. I own a late model CX-90 TPP. This was constructed in June 2024, some eighteen months subsequent to the first ones being created. It is peculiar that my vehicle was classified as a 2024 model yet the CX-70s available at the dealership were all 2025 models and manufactured prior to mine. I awaited the 2025 models when this one came with appealing incentives, and it was evident that the forthcoming 2025 models were indistinguishable, save from the side "Inline 6" emblem. I was astonished by how my experience contrasted with the evaluations and complaints over the early versions. I perceived the steering to be light, contrary to the prevalent complaints about its heaviness, and it is lighter than that of my Outback. I would love the steering to be somewhat more substantial. The gearbox was initially fluid and became even smoother as the software adapted to my driving style. Note that this is not a torque converter gearbox. It has a twin wet clutch, resulting in a much smoother performance compared to the German DCTs I have seen. The early changes are perceptible owing to their brevity, likely a result of the requirements of the Miller Cycle engine/mild hybrid, which provides exceptional fuel efficiency. If Mazda were to install the conventional Otto cycle inline-six engine and torque converter gearbox, the maximum fuel efficiency would be 18 miles per gallon. I just completed a 7,200-mile road trip, and it was the finest vehicle I have ever driven for such an excursion. The suspension is firmer than that of a standard family SUV, although it remains plenty comfortable, particularly given the superior handling, which I appreciated on the small, twisting mountain roads. The nanny functionalities performed well and proved beneficial on several occasions. I have had no issues with the vehicle so far at over 11,000 miles, and I have considered the craftsmanship to be exceptional. The Falken tires exhibit commendable durability for a tire rated at 300 treadlife. Automobile manufacturers often equip vehicles with narrower tread original equipment manufacturer (OEM) tires to optimise Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) fuel efficiency and to provide a quieter driving experience during test drives. Replacing OEM tires with quality aftermarket tires would significantly enhance the vehicle's performance; however, this may result in decreased fuel efficiency and perhaps increased tire noise. This has been my experience with each new vehicle I have had. I agree with the original poster that purchasing a 2025 model (or a late production 2024) would probably mitigate most problems linked to the early versions.
  3. If I recall correctly, it is frequently available at a fraction of the cost of a new one from a primary dealer. I initially observed this on the television program Wheeler Dealers, where the host, Mike, visited a small technical workshop that produced such items.
  4. I would prefer to visit the dealership instead of a local oil change establishment. Why jeopardise the situation by allowing an unqualified individual to improperly install the oil filter, excessively tighten the drain bolt, neglect to include a crush washer, or use incorrect oil? I perform my own oil changes; however, I prefer to visit the dealer and incur double the cost rather than using an oil change establishment. At a minimum, they will utilise the appropriate oil filter and, ideally, the correct viscosity of oil. Oil: Synthetic 5W-30 API SP, ILSAC GF-6; Filter: OEM Mazda 1WPY-14-302 I utilise Motul ECO-lite 5W-30 in my CX-30 Turbo.
  5. I recently acquired one from eBay for only £8.99; there are other identical options available.
  6. Unless you possess certain knowledge to the contrary, connect the pipes rather than obstruct them.
  7. Alternatively, you may choose to replace each component sequentially until you reach the lower arms.
  8. I completely concur; I drove one on an experience day, and despite my minimal driving expertise, I much like the V8s. They will need to reinstate them because to a lack of sales. Eagerly anticipating their actions!
  9. Kia will fulfil warranty claims up to £1,000 without any service history, according to my Kia service manager. Regrettably, a limited number of warranty claims amount to less than one thousand dollars. Therefore, give significant consideration to refraining from acquiring this vehicle.
  10. I just acquired a 2022 R8 in Kemora Grey and am enquiring about suitable alternatives for rear license plate covers. I saw that a "Audi Sport" OEM plate cover in carbon fibre is available for $150, however I would want to enquire about your experiences with it. I would like not have an inexpensive plastic dealer cover on my new vehicle.
  11. I saw a post on Carly, which seems to get mixed reviews and requires a membership. Is the BMW cable necessary for INPA K CAN?
  12. I own inpa on an antiquated laptop that I acquired when I had my e46, but it is now many years old. I am uncertain if an E70 will be included, and I suspect my cable was damaged when it was borrowed by someone. What is an effective tool for retrieving trouble codes and doing coding? I believe I too have Istanbul on my device; but, it is a cumbersome laptop, making it impractical to search for an E70 with it.
  13. I have just acquired a 71-plate 1 Series equipped with the M Sport Pro package, which has 18,000 miles on the odometer. I have received a service plan proposal from the dealer in the northwest, which is only valid at their dealership. I may get a national service plan from EMAC that covers the forthcoming major service, minor service, and two MOTs. I need guidance on whether the national strategy is preferable and whether two years is sufficient. I want to retain the vehicle for around five years. Thank you.
  14. Occasionally, they occur without any prior notice. If the issue pertains to the chain, it can often be rectified with reasonable ease after the engine is removed. However, there is a possibility that the chain may have entangled and caused damage to the block, but certainty cannot be established until disassembly occurs. I have never seen this happen; all the instances I have encountered included fractured rockers or, at most, a cracked cam carrier. I completed two tasks the previous week that incurred no more harm and just necessitated chain replacements.
  15. It seems possible that the chain has fractured, considering the conditions and the cam sensor problem. What is the mileage, since the B47 engines are far less susceptible to failure?
  16. Hi - I have the PHEV, the lights on my new 24 model appear to be exactly the same as my 22 one. I have no concerns; I believe they are the finest lights on any vehicle I have owned.
  17. I just looked at mine and snapped a couple of shots. The first one is with lights on 'auto'. My understanding is they are the daytime running lights, and - sure - the tall one in the grill serves as amber indication. The second shot is when I switch on the headlights. This is my second CX60, and I am certain the first one was identical.
  18. https://hondadirectparts.co.uk/parts/category/honda-hr-v-genuine-parts/hr-v-2015/steering-suspension-hr-v-2015/
  19. I have a 2015 diesel HR-V with 105,000 kilometres. MOT advice. Front suspension bushes on both the driver and passenger sides are deteriorated and split. Priced at £324 apiece, including VAT, from Honda. The cost for replacement from Honda is £1200, including VAT. Equivalent OEM automotive components priced at £100 apiece.
  20. Have you attempted the resets I referenced? It is an exceedingly frustrating situation that ought not to occur.
  21. This was effective for me. Initially, press and hold the home button until the screen goes blank and initiates a reload (continue holding until the screen cleaning mode notification vanishes). Subsequently, press and hold the rear defrost button until the SOS above light begins to flash. Exit the vehicle and secure it using the remote control. Wait a few minutes, then use the remote to unlock the vehicle. push the brake once, followed by another push while starting the automobile. This occurred with my 2023 S60 T8, and the aforementioned solution was effective. A Volvo technician conveyed this information to me over telephone. It is somewhat frustrating, but it has restored the system connections. Best of luck.
