hi I have an 08 audi a5 3.0 tdi quattro and I'm having serious issues at the moment ... car is stage 1 narco tuned egr delete dpf delete .. car had a 2nd hand turbo on 101 k miles I bought it and was fine then car went limp mode no engine light so i turned it off and restarted it it was fine came next day white smpke woildnt start just cut straight out so sent car to autotecnic and the found egr wasnt blanked so that solved the atarting issue and foind actuator had seized so I had a new turbo and actuator fitted at autotecknic in west mids but found car wouldn't boost with engine temp sensor plugged and and to go back to the mappers and see if the map was playing up or my ecu might be on way out ...drove around it's been fine so thought didn't need to see mapper so done over 900 miles not even 3 months into new turbo and now car won't go over 3000 revs it really stuggles no boost what so ever and when u first start it u hear the turbo then the actuator shuts off and exhaust note changes and no boost phone Autotecnik instructed me to see the mappers. I have spoken with the mappers and provided them with a detailed explanation. They informed me that they have never seen a situation where the ETS (Electronic Toll System) prevents boosting. Their role is limited to verifying whether the maps are corrupted or if there is a hardware problem. I am not receiving any error messages and the mapper has suggested that the issue may be related to the turbocharger.I am hoping to get a booking at Mappers this week. However, there seems to be a dispute between the two parties involved, with one blaming the other. I would appreciate any information about the situation. My primary concern is obtaining a dependable vehicle.

Recommendations for upgrading the B8 A5 suspension
johnnyb44 replied to ENVIOclev's topic in General Car Chat
I used Pirelli P Zeros on my A5 vehicle and really enjoyed their performance. Excellent in dry conditions and acceptable in rainy conditions additionally. -
I own one of the first prototypes that was sent to Sweden in 2022. Even now, it continues to have a few unsolved issues, but not all of them. This particular Mazda model seems to have been produced with a greater level of quality tolerance than the usual, which means it is more sensitive to the quality and experience of the repair facility. The latter, which refers to the second half, is of paramount relevance since it is the only part of the agreement that is completely within your authority. Finding a proficient mechanic may dramatically boost your satisfaction with this car, since even little adjustments and subtle details have a huge impact on the overall driving experience.

I often use the self-parking feature in our V class vehicle. It works efficiently and effectively once one becomes accustomed to it. However, my wife, on the other, does not like it and instead loves the aesthetic of having wheels that seem worn or damaged.Furthermore, the self-park feature is incapable of doing that task.

Appreciation is extended. I lack an extended warranty and reside in a really remote area. Fortunately, the nearby garage will service and pickup it. The noise I heard when reversing up an incline suggests that the issue may be with the rear wheel on the non-driver's side. I am curious to know whether this is an insurance claim or if you are looking for an estimated cost.

I have reviewed past discussions but was unable to locate the specific process. Multiple negative responses. There are no features such as assisted braking, stability control, and others. need I go directly to the garage, or are there any preliminary tasks I need do first, please? Despairing woman. The 2014 Evoque I believe it is at the highest end of the spectrum. Only 40,000 kilometres.

What is the reason for the sluggish pace?
johnnyb44 replied to WhisperingWillow's topic in General Car Chat
This vehicle is capable of reaching speeds above 90 miles per hour in its third gear. During a test, it reached a maximum speed of 124 miles per hour before running out of space on an airport taxiway. The automobile provides a stable and comfortable ride at high speeds, and it would be ideal to use the runway itself on a quiet Sunday morning. -
What is the reason for the sluggish pace?

Utilise the sport mode. When the engine reaches around 4,000 revolutions per minute, it becomes quite responsive. It is recommended to use manual mode. For daily driving, it is satisfactory, depending upon your expectations. My vehicle, starting from a stationary position, can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in an average time of 7.8 seconds. Factors such as temperature, altitude, air density, and fuel quality will have an impact. It is advisable to do this action after the engine has reached its optimal temperature and has been exposed to prolonged heat. This typically requires a running period of around 30 minutes, however the duration may vary somewhat depending on the ambient air temperature. -
Indeed, I am quite disappointed. The vehicle is truly exquisite, with a powerful 3.7-liter engine and delivering an exceptional driving experience. It is regrettable that it runs on LPG, but overall, these cars are truly remarkable. I have recently replaced the rear springs, as well as the convenience batteries and the BCM. Additionally, I have replaced the left-hand rear ABS wheel sensor and a few other items. I will first attempt to do this job as a preliminary task for someone who may perhaps be interested. Nonetheless, I really appreciate all the information. when the roof functioned

I would like to express my gratitude for the information you provided regarding my sl350. However, I have decided to dismantle the vehicle and sell its parts. The reason for this decision is that I have spent a significant amount of money on repairs, particularly on an expensive BCM box that is still in excellent condition and under warranty. After consulting with experts using the stars system, it has been determined that there is no need to reset anything with this particular component. The only requirement is to erase the codes and proceed accordingly. Unfortunately, the roof module is now malfunctioning, which has further contributed to the financial burden of maintaining this vehicle. It is regrettable that despite recently replacing the rear springs, installing a new BCM, and various other parts, the car continues to experience one problem after another. Sincerely

Unfortunately, my SL has been in storage for little more than a year. During this time, I kept the charger connected to a handy battery to prevent it from losing charge. However, I suspect that the booster starter was inadvertently turned on, which led to the malfunction and damage of the BCM.The BCM has been replaced, but several issues persist. The vehicle starts and drives well, but the roof does not open and the boot does not work. The roll bar is also not functioning, and the remote fob is not working. Additionally, there is no insurance, tax or MOT for the vehicle. It has been in the garage for four months, and the Ford Edge has proven difficult to repair. Ford is unaware of a solution, so I am left with the task of getting my SL back on the road. My Foxwell diagnostic scanner is a very advanced GT65 scanner that is capable of resetting the roof.

I am currently facing significant difficulties with my car. I greatly appreciate the valuable advice you have provided thus far. The issue at hand is that my car's roof requires resetting, as suggested by your team. This can be accomplished through the use of a diagnostic tool known as "stars." Unfortunately, I am unable to utilise my car or transport it elsewhere until this matter is resolved. I am wondering if there are alternative scanners available for purchase that can enable me to reset the roof on my own. The scanner I purchased, seen in picture 1, seems to have extensive capabilities. It includes a Benz adapter, a vehicle connection module, and several leads. Before investing in a new roof module, I need to understand its functionality. It is possible that a simple reset of the Body Control Module (BCM) may be sufficient, as indicated by the successful resolution of the battery light issue. Based on my deduction, I believe that this issue is a result of the disconnection of the components and the subsequent damage to the BCM. Does anybody know whether the iCarsoft Scanner can fix roof issues? Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Consideration... The diagnostic scanner available at my local garage, which is a snap-on brand, is capable of performing the same functions as the star diagnostic system. Unfortunately, I have been unable to locate any local service providers that can scan my electronic control unit (ECU).

Thank you for your assistance. I will need to locate someone with a star diagnostic tool who can come to my location, since the vehicle currently lacks a valid MOT, tax, and insurance. Kind regards.

Understood Discovered the box located behind the driver's seat and proceeded to inspect its contents. The inside seems to be in satisfactory condition, with no discernible odour of burned substances. Conducted a thorough examination of all fuses, which appear to be functioning properly. However, despite these efforts, I am still seeking suggestions or ideas to resolve the issue at hand. I am able to eliminate the issue, but as soon as I start the system, the errors reappear. There are two relays visible in the fourth picture. Does anybody know the purpose of these relays? Thank you

Greetings, I need assistance from all of you. I own a 2004 SL350 3.7, and the battery control module (BCM) was entirely damaged. I purchased a high-quality replacement from eBay, which successfully resolved the issue of the battery not charging and eliminated any warning lights on the dashboard. I am very satisfied with this solution, despite the cost of almost £1050. Currently, I am facing a new issue with the roof, as indicated by the fault code B1057-000. Additionally, another fault code B1018 suggests a disruption in the Controller Area Network (CAN) communication from the RCP control unit. The electronic roof control module is absent. The issue at hand is the absence of control 30 for the electronics in the second code, as well as the presence of a symbol on the car's dashboard indicating a malfunction with the roof opening mechanism. I am in need of assistance as I have already spent a significant amount of money on repairs and am unsure of where to begin troubleshooting. Is there a relay fuse control module that might be causing the problem, and if so, does anybody know its location? I have deleted codes that disappear, but as soon as I turn on the ignition or start the vehicle, they reappear. I appreciate any information you can provide on this matter. Thank you in advance

Car mats are not universally included, so you must either purchase a pair separately or negotiate with the dealer to have them included as part of the purchase agreement. I acquired mine without charge as a component of the agreement, but this outcome is not always achievable. Neither a fire extinguisher nor a first aid kit are present in the automobile.
