DreamCatcher88
Greetings, I am now experiencing an illuminated engine light in my vehicle. However, the car's performance remains unaffected. I have used VCDS to scan the vehicle and have identified a total of 8 fault codes. I find it peculiar that I am seeing 8 problems simultaneously. I am curious if these failures are interconnected or whether they are all stemming from a single faulty connection in the wiring harness. Has anybody ever seen a similar situation? The vehicle is a convertible S5 with a 3.0 TFSI engine, identified with the code P1577. The solenoid valve for the right engine mount is experiencing an open circuit. The code P1573 The solenoid valve for the left engine mount is experiencing an open circuit. The code is P1576. The right engine mount solenoid valve is experiencing a short circuit that is causing it to be grounded. This issue is identified by the diagnostic trouble code P1572. The solenoid valve for the left engine mount is experiencing a short circuit that is causing it to be grounded. The code P023A The intercooler's coolant pump is experiencing an open circuit. The code P023B The coolant pump for the intercooler is experiencing a short circuit that is causing it to be grounded. The code P0418 is displayed. The secondary air injection pump [J299] is experiencing a problem. P2257 The secondary air injection pump relay [J299] is experiencing a short circuit to the ground. bentleygt77
What was the frequency of the errors? You just acknowledge the presence of mistakes without providing the report, which may potentially be beneficial in understanding the issue. What is the consequence of deleting the errors? Do they return immediately?
DreamCatcher88
Upon returning home from work, I promptly resolved the issues that had emerged. However, despite my efforts to eliminate them, the errors persistently reoccur as soon as the engine is started. Regrettably, I am encountering difficulties in uploading screenshots of the error codes for some unknown reason. The extensions of my files are not permitted. mrnobady
Attempt to detach the battery and initiate a reset of your vehicle's system. Allow a little interval of time, reactivate the car's power, and inspect it... Occasionally, allowing the automobile a few moment to reset seems to be beneficial. If the last solution proves ineffective, I would recommend visiting a store to have the issue professionally examined.
torque2me
To ensure optimal service, it is advisable to locate a reputable and autonomous expert in VAG vehicles, while avoiding official dealerships. Please provide the location where you are now located, and someone in this forum may be able to provide a recommendation.
