peakroach
I have included a YouTube video capturing the emission of white smoke from my vehicle's exhaust. It is important to note that this video was not recorded on a cold start, but rather after the engine had been running for around 15-20 minutes. My friends have suggested that the issue could be related to the turbo. I would welcome hearing any further perspectives from others. The car's odometer reads 72,000 miles. It seems to be functioning well with no noticeable problems or sounds, save for the emission of white smoke.

peakroach
Would the presence of an oily smell indicate that the issue is still due to coolant? I have been informed that there is a little coolant leak in my vehicle.
Black_raven
If the issue is with the turbo, it is advisable to see an expert. There are several choices available for turbo-related problems. May I ask where you are located?
peakroach
I am located in the United Kingdom, next to the county of Cambridgeshire. I have scheduled an appointment for a specialised diagnostic at a rate of £140 per hour. Oh, I hope to get positive information. Various individuals on online forums have provided me with conflicting responses, suggesting either a turbocharger or a head gasket as potential causes. These are substantial expenses for repairs. Black_raven
The occurrence of a head gasket failure is very uncommon, however turbocharger issues are not unheard of. Although not considered frequent, turbochargers are one of the most vulnerable components of the S55 engine. The rate of £140 per hour seems exorbitant. In comparison, I only spend £350 per hour at an independent garage run by a former BMW technician.
WanderlustGuru
The rate I pay at the one I use sometimes is £55 plus VAT, whereas Black_raven charges £350 per hour.
Black_raven
I didn't press the shift key, therefore the number 3 is shown as the pound symbol (£). Therefore, the amount is £50.
