  2. In terms of durability, the present CX-90 MHEV should hold up well over time. As with any updated model, it's important to monitor multiple sources, including customer reviews, for any problems.
  3. We don't have any long-term data since this model was introduced in 2023. If everything goes according to plan, you might be the one to provide that information!

  5. Good day, I intend to retain the Mazda CX 90 GT Turbo MHEV for at least another decade after making the switch from the 2021 Mazda CX 30 Turbo. I simply need some advice on how to keep this car running reliably for so long. TIA
  6. A failed solenoid or faulty wiring could be the cause of the P22cf-71 Turbo inlet valve control circuit opening.
  7. Hello, I appreciate your reply. The P22D3-77 turbo inlet valve is stuck, and I'm getting errors like this. The control circuit for the P22cf-71 turbo inlet valve is open. I have to keep cycling the ignition until I reach more than 2500 rpm, at which point the secondary turbo tries to kick in.
  8. I am experiencing issues with the secondary turbo not opening when instructed on my Jaguar XF 3.0D. After 2500 rpm, its performance is severely limited. I have vacuum tested the valve and found that it holds vacuum well. Additionally, the position sensor reads vacuum well and the actuator is smooth when vacuumed. Could someone please tell me which solenoid regulates the secondary turbo's vacuum? Which one is it? The one I can see at the rear of the engine or the one in the front of the engine bay? Much obliged.
  9. Minis aren't always designed to pull a hitch, so it's a good idea to get a professional opinion before you buy one. Bringing that up during the inspection could be a good idea.
  10. A 2005 Mini Cooper S is something I'm considering buying. Up until we looked more closely, the dealer had said that the car had a full service history, but it turned out that was not the case. The first service was performed at 16,000 miles. On the other hand, it remained without service until 68,000, at which point it had a complete service 2. After that, it began receiving annual maintenance. During the last 1000 miles, it underwent a full service and GTT 220 horsepower tuning. Is the first gap in its service history something to be worried about? Will there be any issues that I need to address in the future? From the moment I take ownership, it will see very little use, as I am not likely to exceed 4,000 miles per year. My goal is to gage the level of concern that should be directed toward that initial gap in service history.
  11. For fun, I'd get a Cooper S; however, I wouldn't attach a tow hitch to it because it isn't designed to haul anything. Used cars usually have a few recurring expenses, but if the vehicle you're considering has a record of regular oil and filter changes, there shouldn't be any major problems. It would be extremely taxing on the vehicle if you attached a tow hitch.
  12. My recommendation is a more recent generation MINI with a warranty if that's what you're after. Posts regarding the R56 and problems encountered by users thus far can be found in this thread. MINIs usually need servicing. Personally, I would look into something else if dependability and cheap maintenance are your highest priorities. But if you're handy around the house and don't mind fixing the typical problems with these cars, they're great fun to own. If that isn't the case, maybe we should reconsider.

  14. It seems like there could be a lot of expensive repairs needed. Most of my car maintenance is done by me, and this one seems particularly difficult. I really should reconsider this.
  15. It is greatly appreciated. But then I found this video on how to change the alternator after some research.
  16. Which year is on your mind the most? Read up on the most common problems and issues with the R53 MINI in this excellent buyer's guide.
  17. Somewhere between eight and ten grand would be perfect for me. It appears like there's no shortage. I have some questions. Are there any specific years that you would like to skip? 2. Would you recommend the S model? 3. Does the supercharger have any problems with reliability? 3. A trailer hitch is going to be necessary for my little utility trailers. I was wondering if there was an optimum year to install a hitch. Is there anything I need to inquire about or look into more closely when evaluating a potential purchase? Without this forum, I would not know where to look for this information. Thank you for your feedback.

  19. It would save you two stamps (one for the S.A.E.) if someone on this forum happened to own it at one point. Personally, I would just make contact with them at the. addresses you
  20. I have modified your profile accordingly. Understanding your approximate location assists members in providing pertinent information tailored to your vicinity.
  21. I obtained the names from antiquated service documents, among other sources. Northeastern England
  22. If you already know the answer, then there's no need for us to suggest methods for discovering it; complete information is king. From where did you derive this data? Where in the United Kingdom are you located?
  23. I'm going to write a letter to the earlier addresses, but I figured I might as well give this place a shot since I have three names of owners that I'm trying to track down.
  24. Challenging! Is it possible to assume that the MH07 was its initial registration? If that's the case, the Manchester area was the initial registration point. Is that where you currently call home? Your profile just shows a general UK address, so we don't know anything about you. If you want to find out what happened, you have to start at the beginning and ask the person from whom you purchased it. Is the vehicle accompanied by any paperwork that could serve as a guide? Are you sure you've verified that? You might be able to find out where the previous MOTs were done if you have the V5 with you. Getting a VCheck report for the present registration would be a wise "investment" of £9.99. You can find the dates of ownership changes here, but keep in mind that a change in license plates is frequently confused with a change in owners. Additionally, it ought to reveal whether the car has been auctioned off before. A good foundation to build upon; report back on your progress.
