  1. I am seeking to purchase a 2019 E-Class convertible and have conducted my due diligence, including checks on hire purchase financing, any ongoing issues, and MOT history. These are my concerns; any advise would be appreciated. The vehicle is equipped with a single key fob. Is the replacement available just from the primary dealer? Is there an other location where I may get a key fob? Comprehensive service What is the estimated cost, considering it is overdue and has missed a servicing appointment? I prefer not to visit the Mercedes-Benz Main Dealer. The E-Class is equipped with 20" wheels and lacks locking wheel nuts. Does anybody know where I can get these, other from the Mercedes-Benz Main Dealer? Thank you, everyone.

  3. This has been replicated from a prior discussion with precise accuracy.
  4. Hello, If you disable the anti-theft alarm, the vehicle will automatically enable it again every time you restart the car. Therefore, you will need to deactivate the system every time you exit the vehicle. I hope you are able to resolve the issue.
  5. Be aware that there will be several expenses to allocate your funds towards, since these automobiles need substantial maintenance costs.
  6. Utilise your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to ascertain your eligibility for any existing upgrades. Contact your service department to get their records and verify the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) associated with the software version used. Comprehensive documentation exists for all actions performed. If you continue to have an issue, please inform the service department. I received a call from my service department informing me that a recent upgrade, which was done two weeks ago, may need another update. They requested that I bring in my device for inspection. I personally did not see any problems.
  7. This is quite peculiar... I possess that choice on my European Union device. What is the current version of the programme you are using? Perhaps the dealer can verify whether it is deactivated in Australia, however I find it perplexing that they would just disable it for Android and not for CarPlay...
  8. You have the option to activate it for CarPlay and Android Auto. Presented below is a video:
  9. Apologies for the confusion. I need to purchase a timing kit for my engine, but I'm unsure whether to choose the 45 or 11 option. Could you advise me on if the 45 kit is OK for my engine?
  10. In your view, which angle is superior: 11 degrees or 45 degrees? I need to purchase the timing equipment.
  11. Thank you for providing the solution. Due to the many readings I have come across, I am uncertain if the correct angle is 11° or 45°. However, I have gathered that devices produced before 2013, like mine, should be adjusted to a 45° angle after undergoing the necessary post-market surveillance (PMS) procedures. This adjustment is made using the instrument included in the kit, namely the crank used to spin the engine. What would be the outcome if I adjusted the High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) timing to 11° in my engine? According to your perspective
  12. Could someone please provide a repair manual for my 2007 BMW E87 with an N47D20A engine? I am particularly interested in the section that covers the timing chain and its associated phase indications. I am also unsure about how the High-Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) should be adjusted.
  13. Simply remove the silencer and retain the original downpipes for an astonishing sound.
  14. Why is there a lack of follow-up on these posts about the resolution of the noise issue?
  15. I have used Lemforder and TRW hub ball joints, both of which are original equipment manufacturer (OEM) providers. There is no need to spend excessive amounts of money on an aesthetically pleasing container. The ball joint on the w211 control arm is not detachable; the whole arm must be replaced. The middle thrust arm has a detachable tiny ball joint that links to the arb link arm.
  16. Ball joint for a hub. Both failure and squeaking are common.
  17. The hub ball joint is another component that produces a squeaking noise. Is this wishbone? Does the top one support the leg?
  18. I am unfamiliar with the p30, but, prior to undergoing significant surgical procedures, I would inquire about the potential installation of larger rims that may be prone to collision and damage on poorly maintained roads. Additionally, maintaining the correct tyre pressure is crucial since excessive inflation may result in an uncomfortable ride, particularly on surfaces that are not perfectly smooth.
  19. I returned my machine today after using it just twice due to the discovery of a little leakage on the floor underneath it. Experiencing a no-questions-asked exchange at the store. This device is impressive, however I believe I just had bad luck the first time I used it.
  20. Greetings, everyone. I just purchased one of these products and I am quite satisfied with its exceptional quality and impressive power.
  21. Based on my understanding, the recommended procedure is to charge the Auxiliary battery, located in the boot, since it is specifically built to refill the starting battery while driving if the alternator has not generated sufficient energy to restore the energy used during the start. The Aux / Consumer battery bears the whole burden of the roof, HVAC, and daily activities. It seems logical that MB would have constructed the system in such a way that just one battery, namely the larger Consumer battery, needed to be charged from an external source. Are you removing the battery because you are unable to connect a wire to it? Removing the battery generally poses the danger of resetting the increasingly complex circuitry. In modern vehicles, including maybe this one, the car's system need accurate information on the battery's charge level in order to charge it properly. This necessitates a series of complex procedures, which implies that newer automobiles may require adjustments to accommodate their new battery. (There are more knowledgeable electrical professionals who are welcome to provide input on the specific causes, which are normally above my level of expertise.) Generally, it is preferable to connect the battery charger / conditioner to the automobile via a cable, rather than removing the battery.
  22. Totally ordinary. This topic has been extensively addressed on this platform. If an R230 is not used for a month, there is a gradual discharge of the Auxiliary battery, which is designed to safeguard the starting battery. After driving the vehicle for around ten miles, the Auxiliary battery will reactivate, allowing you to power the hood, air conditioning, and other systems. The next step is to thoroughly recondition and recharge your auxiliary battery to see whether it can be completely charged once again. If the condition is too poor, it may need a replacement auxiliary battery. However, if you, like the majority of SL users, are not using the SL for an extended period of time, it is necessary to consistently charge or provide a little amount of energy to your auxiliary battery.
  23. 😂😂 A meticulous cleaning is needed instead of spending money on new keys. Fortunately, it was not a visit to the veterinarian, since it would have been as expensive as purchasing a key along with another automobile! Apologies for the confusion, I now understand that you are referring to the dog carrying the items into the garden, rather than the dog processing and placing them there.
