Comparative motivations have no effect on me. Street racing fails to excite me. I am aware of the possessions I have and express gratitude to God every day for the good health and privilege that allow me to possess them. I am aware that there is consistently something that is quicker and better. I have a strong affection for my R8 and I would not consider exchanging it for any other vehicle save for a Jesko Absolut.

Which suspension option is better: Bilstein B6 or B8?

I have problems with broken springs using authentic MB components. The Eibach's resolved the issue "up to this point". -

I have installed Bilstein shock absorbers paired with Eibach springs. The ride quality is rather rigid, but it performs very well in high-speed corners. -
How to Remove and Install Fender Liner Bolts?
KWILB replied to norbury.brook's topic in General Car Chat
I would remove the liner and inspect the bolt attachment locations. You may need to substitute some metallic fasteners on the liner to which the bolts are threaded. I suspect that the top bolt is not completely lined with the outermost edge of the clip. Exercise caution to avoid damaging the rivnuts that are affixed to the body while handling them. I have replaced the majority of the liner and under tray bolts with titanium ones, since the current OEM bolts are prone to rusting quickly. By the way, such bolts have a size of M6x20 mm with a T30 head. I have used black titanium bolts with a head width of 16 mm. These bolts can be acquired for around $3 per unit from online marketplaces such as eBay and Aliexpress. -

Are you referring to the fact that "car play" does not work with them? It is evident that the inability to use an iPad with CarPlay integration is a unique characteristic exclusive to Apple. As I do not own any Android Tablets, I am uncertain about the compatibility of Android Auto with tablets.

Gearbox noise in the 2016 W212 350d. 96,000 miles. Complete MB SH.

Is it certain that it originates from the gearbox? -
When opting for an R-Tronic vehicle, it is advisable to allocate funds for the purpose of reconstructing the R-Tronic actuator. The seals and solenoids, as well as the accumulator and pump linked to the R-Tronic system, ultimately experience failure.

Assist in Enhancing the Appearance of My Mercedes!
KWILB replied to KWILB's topic in General Car Chat
Currently, I purchase temporary insurance each time I drive. However, upon investigation, I discovered that the cost of insurance amounts to £9500 each year. Incredible... -
Greetings, everyone! I own a 2009 Pre-Facelift C200K equipped with the elegance package. (Includes Images) I received it from my father in December upon obtaining my driver's licence. I have invested a significant amount of effort on it, mostly focusing on the engine and the inside. Currently, I am eagerly anticipating enhancing the visual appeal of the outside. I am contemplating enhancing its appearance to exude a more athletic and assertive aesthetic, however I am open to any suggestions as well. However, I have limited financial resources due to my age of 17. If you have any budget-friendly external modifications (ranging from free to £40), I will certainly take them into consideration. Thank you in advance, everyone. 🙂

I suspect there may be a problem with either my phone or the automobile. I ensured that the WiFi box was selected. Despite completing all necessary steps, I am able to play music and hear audio from the phone, but unable to establish a connection for video playback using CarPlay. I will bring it to the dealership on Thursday. Thank you for attempting to assist, it seems to be disliking me already!

I have the turbo premium and I have attempted both wireless and cable connections without success. My CarPlay connection fails after first connecting, but I can still play music via the radio via Bluetooth without touch screen functionality. I have dedicated several hours attempting to make the automobile function properly. I have removed the phone from the system twice and attempted to connect using both wired and wireless methods. I hope you are not implying that I must register for the hotspot in order for it to function. Any other recommendations before I go another 78 miles to the dealership and seek their assistance? The servers were down when we retrieved the vehicle, preventing us from using the app. However, the issue has been resolved and the app is again functioning properly.

Buying extended warranty for expired warranty V10+
KWILB replied to alabbasi's topic in General Car Chat
R8 is more durable and dependable compared to Ferraris and Mclarens. We have seen an increasing number of requests for magnetic rides on new R8s. Ultimately, it all comes down to achieving piece of mind, therefore a guarantee could be valuable only for that purpose. Explore Autrella. My firm is a distributor for www.voyagewarranty.com. Autrella has the most extensive coverage compared to other warranty companies and does not reject coverage for modified cars (limited to mild exhaust and intake modifications, tuning, and no extreme turbo kits). -
Greetings! I have been experiencing the same issue for a while, but no one has been able to identify the fault. Who can assist me?

MINI R59 - defects, but for what reason?
KWILB replied to Needsnewtyres2's topic in General Car Chat
To identify any issues with the flat tyre system, it is necessary to scan it using a diagnostic scan tool capable of detecting all codes. The flat tyre system relies on the ABS system to detect flat tyres, thus any malfunctions in the ABS sensors or ABS pump might trigger the tyre alert. -

KWILB replied to Needsnewtyres2's topic in General Car Chat
One may identify the presence of a start-stop system in a vehicle by examining the gearstick gaiter plastics. If there is a button with a large "A" within a circle, it likely indicates the presence of a start-stop system. However, not all batteries are the same in terms of age and specifications. I now exclusively use Lucas batteries, which I get from MPD. These batteries come with a 4-year guarantee and are specifically designed for start-stop vehicles. They need to be reprogrammed to the car. If you are in the Plymouth area and have any issues, feel free to bring the battery to me for installation and programming. Found the Lucas products to be affordable but of high quality. I have installed hundreds over the years and have not encountered any issues, which is a positive indication. -

KWILB replied to Needsnewtyres2's topic in General Car Chat
Ensure to inspect the carpets for moisture both inside and underneath, as leaks from rain can seep in and damage the frm module located in the footwell. Another probable reason could be an ageing car battery, indicated by the malfunction of the start-stop feature or its erratic behaviour. Just because the car starts doesn't necessarily mean the battery is in good condition. It's essential to have the correct battery type, specifically for start-stop systems, and ensure it is properly coded to the electronic control unit (ecu). -
Are there any issues associated with the 3.3-liter petrol engine?

In Germany, the present situation indicates a minimum duration of six years. Therefore, it is crucial to prioritise making the appropriate strategic choice for the collective. -

Indeed, your observation is accurate. However, considering the perceived superfluous intricacy and the evident challenges encountered with Mazda's existing SUV models, the matter at hand is not a matter of if a similar situation will arise, but rather when it will occur and, in this particular instance, to what extent it will manifest. However, due to Mazda's provision of a six-year guarantee to all customers, the level of concern among individuals is likely to be minimal. The service provider would do the repair without any charge. However, considering the prevailing conditions, the market value of this vehicle is expected to see a significant decline. There is a general lack of interest in acquiring the product after the expiration of its warranty period. This phenomenon is once again resulting in a direct financial detriment to individuals. -

Could you perhaps clarify what you mean by stating that there are no problems? The whole automobile presents a predicament. The CX60 model has encountered several issues, while the CX90 model has much more severe difficulties. Please watch the provided video and reconsider your thoughts on the matter.
