  1. I had entirely overlooked its presence. I experimented with it when it was new, but I have not had a need for it since then.
  2. Fascinating concept. I like Bluetooth connectivity mostly because I typically avoid keeping my phone readily accessible. The problem with the 12v bluetooth adapter located in the frunk is its tendency to generate excessive heat, which might potentially lead to its eventual malfunction.
  3. Indeed, kindly remove the thread. Allow me to verify whether I am able to provide you with both of the user names.
  4. Primarily a complaint, I have been actively searching for an individual who own a Bovee / Tune 2 Air device that they no longer use. As I exhausted all other possibilities and resorted to a Want to Buy (WTB) topic, I have encountered scammers in every private message (PM) I get. It is rather evident that when the user provides a complete name (since people seldom use their true names), the message often states something like "my 'friend' possesses what you seek!" Contact him by email at [email protected] or a similar address. On alternate days, a different Prime Minister takes office, often delivering a similar message. Do other individuals get fraudulent private messages, or is it limited to the "Want to Buy" section? Furthermore, I need the deletion of my topic. Can the moderators provide assistance with that, at the very least?
  5. What is the purpose of doing either?....unless the automobile has really low mileage or has significant personal value, there are other vehicles available in that age range for less than £4k....
  6. I really hope that is not the case, expressing my disappointment and concern.
  7. I had the maintenance wrench, which appeared. This particular tool is a dual-purpose wrench that is only visible on the Heads-Up Display (HUD). It has just undergone maintenance and all settings have been restored. This is a novel occurrence that I have not seen before.
  8. Does anybody know the reason for the sudden appearance of a wrench symbol on my Heads-Up Display (HUD)? It was located next to the 30-mile per hour marker. Prior to this incident, there were signs indicating a stop ahead, as well as other cautionary signs, but there was no indication of a mechanical issue. This issue did not manifest itself in any other way, and the automobile had just had maintenance around two weeks prior. Does the system recognise or detect garage signage along the same road that has not been previously encountered? Thank you if you have any information or suggestions.
  9. What is the reason for the presence of mesh grilles on Gen 1 cars? Are all of these mesh grilles aftermarket? While personal choice may vary, it is worth considering the prevailing opinion: is mesh generally chosen for its aesthetic appeal, or is the plastic slat form more often favoured? Thank you.
  10. An acquaintance of ours was travelling on the autoroute to come and see us. Perforation. Tyre damaged. Neither any quantity of adhesive substance nor any temporary repair on the side of the road could rectify the issue. I recommended that he get an additional one, even if it is simply a slim one. That's the action we took with our Yaris, and it proved beneficial when the tyre encountered a forceful curb. Wear the slim-fitting clothing. Subsequently, we discovered a precise match for the alloy wheel priced at £120, resulting in the acquisition of a total of 5 alloy wheels, mirroring the number of wheels on my 300CE. Self-assurance. Indeed? Do automobile manufacturers produce vehicles that lack space for a spare tyre? I was unaware of it.
  11. Greetings everyone, I purchased my R8 two years ago and have recently had malfunctions with the rear brake lights. Upon inspection, I have seen the presence of moisture or condensation within the object after rainfall. I brought my car to Audi, and they recommended that I replace the lights. This replacement would amount to a total cost of £3,684. I own an Audi extended warranty; however, I have been informed that the warranty team is now awaiting a response to determine if my coverage will be approved. Has anybody else seen this issue with the taillights? Will I be required to pay over 3,000 dollars alone for the replacement of my rear brake lights?
  12. The B8 is suitable for your requirements. The B6 suspension system is used when the vehicle has been lowered using Eibach or H&R springs, among others. These shocks provide excellent control and a smooth ride. It is a single, abrupt motion, resulting in essentially minimal suspension or buoyancy.
  13. The Evoque and premium vehicles provide a comprehensive range of features, although they are not without their drawbacks. Ensure that you thoroughly investigate and verify all information, since there are several discussions and postings on this platform pertaining to the acquisition of an Evoque. Wishing you the best of success, and as the saying goes, if something is not visible, it is not present (photos of your pride and pleasure).
  14. Your assertion was confirmed. The air temperature sensor was located on the intake. The metallic clasp has disengaged and the housing has become free. Repositioned it to verify its functionality and subjected it to a vigorous use for a duration of one to two days, resulting in its optimal performance once again. Ordered a new sensor, housing, and clip. Excellent! Additionally, I own a new MAP sensor as a precautionary measure.
  15. Thank you for the diagram, it is really helpful. Despite many attempts, I was unable to determine if it was the MAP or MAF sensor, resulting in a dead end. I will examine it tomorrow and inform you whether that resolves the issue. I will also verify whether any recent codes have been activated, since I presume that this malfunction is preventing me from accessing the regen settings, and this issue has been persisting for many weeks
  16. Could you provide me with the precise location? I will examine tomorrow. In relation to the DPF, I commute around 60 miles every day on the motorway and experience a substantial 30-minute acceleration either on my way home or to work, which has led me to disregard the DPF concerns. Typically, do you get a signal or light indicating that the DPF is blocked? The intermittent occurrence of a modest decrease in power on the motorway, accompanied by the olfactory perception of eggs, in conjunction with a slow throttle response, is perceptible to me. I am hopeful that the DPF is not the cause, since I perceive it to be rather expensive in the event of an unsuccessful forced regen. Thank you.
  17. Greetings! I have just encountered a problem with my E92 320d 2008. During periods of high engine load (such as strong acceleration, somewhat low RPM in a higher gear, and passing on the motorway) about 2000-3000rpm, the engine exhibits significant jerking motion, resembling the sensation of gasoline being deprived from the engine. The mpg gauge and rpm were monitored, while the windows were down. The observed symptoms indicate a temporary cessation of fuel supply to the engine, followed by a subsequent resumption. The problem may persist throughout the day, temporarily subside for a duration of 30 minutes, and often manifest while the engine is in a heated state. When operating a vehicle in an elderly manner, the vehicle performs well. However, when subjected to significant acceleration, the vehicle seems to encounter a stumbling issue, hence reoccurring the problem. Last week, I changed the MAP sensor, which was the original and had some carbon residue. However, the problem persists. The encountered error code is 04390, which pertains to the charge air temperature management. I have erased all codes, observed the automobile, and immediately copied the proved code, which was the only code present. Do you have any suggestions? Insufficient internet resources. There are differing opinions on whether it is the MAP sensor or the throttle body. However, it may be inferred that the code is perhaps associated with the management of manifold pressure or boost control. Suggestions? I have not seen any discussion where someone has successfully identified this. Thank you very much!
  18. I agree wholeheartedly with your viewpoint. The cost of trains is significantly decreasing. The cost of attending the exhibition and driving is much more favourable. The expenditure of around 70 pounds for a pair of individuals makes the day out quite worthwhile. However, I have a preference for the November show.
  19. I transitioned from owning a R8 Gen 1 V10+ to acquiring a Huracan, which is somewhat comparable to the R8 Gen 2. Overall, I have been quite content with my decision. It is unquestionably much faster than the first generation. While I do like some elements of the R8, such as the analogue tachometer and its sleek, timeless look, I also find myself preferring certain characteristics of the Huracan, such as its more contemporary MMI system and faster-shifting gearbox. Prioritise test-driving a Gen 2 before making a decision, since it will provide a drastically different experience compared to the Gen 1, regardless of its appearance. If you want more performance, advanced technology, and enhanced comfort, it is likely that you will find more satisfaction with the newer automobile.
