Anticipating a year with a CX90 and around 18,000 kilometres.

The probable cause is a defective battery. -
Indeed, the gearbox cooler will function as a'saddle' cooler, specifically operating as an integral component of the primary engine cooling radiator. The presence or absence of a thermostat in the system is uncertain, since my knowledge of your car/model is insufficient to determine. I am inquiring if there is an issue or whether your oil level is little depleted. In a general sense, the air-to-fuel (ATF) transfer occurs from the torque converter, which serves as its primary heat input, to the cooler. When a directive is sent for the gearbox to perform a certain action, such as transitioning from N to D, oil is extracted from the pressure circuit (which supplies power to the torque converter) in order to facilitate the selection of gears. If the flow to the cooler is hindered, it might result in a decrease in pressure (or total deprivation), leading to the occurrence of noise in the exterior piping to and from, or inside, the cooler. It should be noted that the aforementioned statement is a generalisation and the configuration of your gearbox may vary. However, I would first assess the fluid level. Perhaps focusing on the cooler and listening to its sound might provide further information. When assessing the fluid level, it is important to observe for any signs of excessive foaming in the oil. Noise may arise due to air entrainment, which occurs when air enters the suction line between the oil pan and the pump. It is unlikely that it would hinder the working of the torque converter, but it is not impossible. However, if this occurs, it may be unnoticed as most torque converters are operated with the clutch locked. If it does occur, it should be addressed promptly, which is a task that any skilled garage could do.

Based on my previous post, I typically only replace the malfunctioning glow plug. In your case, since you have already replaced the relay and the light is still on, you will need a multimeter to measure the power going into each glow plug. To do this, connect one lead of the multimeter to the engine's ground and the other lead to the power source of the glow plug. The reading should be less than 6 ohms. It is possible that one of the new plugs has failed.
-
Based on the information provided, I recommend purchasing a relay. Although you have already replaced all the glow plugs, it would have been sufficient to just replace the broken one. Additionally, I suggest checking the charging rate of the battery and the battery itself, independent of the glow plug light. The A class engine is rather small and should start immediately.

Assistance required for R129 SL500 halting problem

I had a problem where the engine would start but then promptly shut off. Initially suspected the crank sensor, replaced it, but did not see any improvement. Battery replaced successfully. I believe that the decrease in voltage after the start-up led to the ECU experiencing a brown-out and resetting. It is possible that the battery is experiencing sporadic internal contact issues or is beginning to deteriorate. -

Missing feature in CX-90 Turbo S Trim
norbury.brook replied to norbury.brook's topic in General Car Chat
Thank you for the information and for letting me know I am not the only one. This is very deceptive and akin to fraudulent advertising. It's surprising that this is from Mazda's priciest vehicle line. -
I purchased the Turbo S trim, specifically not the Turbo S Premium or Turbo S PP. According to the specifications on the official website, my vehicle should have motorised folding mirrors. My automobile does not have power folding mirrors or a folding button on the driver's side door. Is this issue exclusive to my vehicle or is it a common occurrence for all S grade models?

The charger for my iPod 10 is not functioning properly.
norbury.brook replied to WhisperingWillow's topic in General Car Chat
If this problem has been resolved, can someone specify the components I need to replace on my early 2010 RRSSC to enable my iPhone/iPod to charge while in use? I purchased the Scosche PassPORT adapter, which initially functioned fine. However, due to its design causing the iPhone to extend beyond the centre console's storage space, the connection on the Scosche grew loose and unstable over time. -
PHEVs are designed to charge often because to the buffer included. In my opinion, those who only charge their devices up to 80% are not fully using their purchase.
-
I completely agree. I am confused by the concept of maintaining the battery charge between 20% and 80%. I understand the need to maintain battery capacity, but what are the consequences? This is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), not a fully electric vehicle (EV). The battery has a limited capacity, providing around 25 miles of range, necessitating daily recharge, sometimes even twice a day. Having a Rivian would change the situation.

Greetings, esteemed individuals. I am the 2021 CX-30 Turbo, and I kindly want your assistance in resolving a technical issue. The rear hatch emits a pronounced auditory disturbance upon activation, particularly when it is operated after a prolonged period of inactivity, such as overnight. In most instances, it will only produce the typical first auditory emission. I brought my vehicle to the Boniface Mazda dealer in Melbourne, Florida, where they conveyed a sense of benevolence by acknowledging that the issue was within the scope of the warranty. The atypical auditory experience suggests that the item in question will likely fall under the coverage of its warranty. It was first believed that the issue had been resolved with the application of lubrication and adjustment measures. However, subsequent to our visit, the problem has resurfaced. I own a video recorded on an iPhone device; nevertheless, it seems that this particular website restricts the uploading of this video.

Indeed, I have just completed the sale of both items. I had a CX500B motorcycle from 1980 to 1985, then acquired another CX500B in 2007, which I owned until the previous year. Additionally, I obtained a US specification CX650 custom motorcycle in 2012, which I possessed until around three weeks ago. Regrettably, the individual is unable to provide sufficient time to use them.

The dealership in the United States from whom I purchased my CX-9 vehicle provided an option to install a Class III hitch in addition to the pre-existing "factory" Class II hitch. We opted for the Class III (specifically the Curt brand, if my memory serves me well), and it proved to be quite advantageous, as you previously said. I do not engage in the towing of large objects; nonetheless, even objects such as trailer hitch baskets protrude to a significant extent in their current state, so dissuading me from incorporating an adapter into the arrangement. It would be advisable to inquire with the lessor on the availability of a Class III option and their willingness to facilitate its installation. The component extends below the bumper, hence avoiding the need for any modification to the body panels.

I would like to provide an update about the range of my vehicle. I am pleased to report that the range has increased somewhat. Upon acquiring the vehicle from the auto dealer with a full charge, the range was measured to be 145 kilometers. After another full charge at home, the range has now reached 157 kilometers. The computer may provide estimations based on historical driving habits.

Thank you for providing the information. Could you kindly inform me about the fuel economy achieved under city driving conditions, characterized by frequent stops and starts at an average speed of 60 km/hr? Additionally, I would also appreciate information about the fuel efficiency observed during highway or motorway travel, when speeds often range between 100-120 km/hr.
-
Greetings everyone, I have just acquired a pre-owned MX-30 and would want to inquire about some aspects based on the experiences of others. I must express my disappointment upon seeing a displayed range of just 145 kilometers with a full charge, which I find to be insufficient. I hypothesized that a temperature of around 25 degrees Celsius would be optimal. During my 260 km journey from the point of purchase to my residence, I observed an average fuel usage of around 0.17 km per kilowatt-hour (Kwh) while driving at speeds ranging from 110-115 km/h. Based on my understanding, if the available battery capacity is around 30 kWh, it would have been reasonable to expect a range of approximately 177 km. However, we arrived at the DC fast charger with a remaining distance of 8 km, having traveled approximately 150 km. The temperature of the battery seems to be within the upper three-fourths range, indicating a high level, even during periods of parking. Is this considered within the range of typical behavior or circumstances? 3. High Noise Levels during L2 Charging: I observed that the sounds produced in my garage during L2 charging were louder compared to my previous electric vehicle, a Ford Focus Electric, which I just exchanged. I am curious to know whether this level of noise is typical for electric vehicles during charging processes. The front seat cushion bolsters cause discomfort in the hip region. Is this observation noticed by others? I express my gratitude for your assistance.
