You are now located in Telford... If the expenses of trailering to an independent mechanic, such as MSL, outweigh the higher charges of the local Mercedes-Benz dealer, then it may be more beneficial to choose the latter. Do you have homestart breakdown insurance that covers this?

I am contemplating the possibility of giving them an opportunity to replace the battery. As you said, this solution has the potential to address all these problems at once, resulting in the automobile being restored to its optimal condition.

It is possible that the vehicle may have been stored at the dealership for an extended period, causing the battery to deteriorate. If the dealer replaces the battery and believes that it resolves the issue, I may consider giving it another go. Perhaps we were hasty in expressing our disinterest, but as you might guess, my spouse was not pleased. Her 11-year-old X1 vehicle functioned well until two days after an update, when it suddenly stopped working.

Greetings everyone, I would want to inform you that my spouse just acquired a 2019 facelift Evoque on Tuesday, and she expressed great admiration for it. The appearance is aesthetically pleasing and the performance of the drive is also remarkable. Although there was a little inside vibration, the overall buy was excellent. The whole automobile exudes a sense of high quality. I had already encountered all the negative rumours, but I maintain the belief that they cannot all be negative. However, on the second morning of owning the automobile, it refuses to start and all the electrical components are rapidly flashing. Additionally, all warning lights are on, the car cannot be locked, the number plate lights are on continuously, relays are audibly clicking, and the dials are flickering. At the moment, it is even impossible to get access to the vehicle. The dealer is reclaiming it in response to our rejection. My wife has a strong affinity for it and wants another one, but I am uncertain whether I have the courage to proceed. Are they really so detrimental? Undoubtedly, the automobiles must possess a satisfactory quality, else they would have acquired a significantly negative reputation. I want to avoid the possibility of acquiring another item and thereafter undergoing the whole procedure of purchasing, taxing, and insuring, only to have to subsequently terminate all of these arrangements. Are there any owners on here that do not had any problems?

A few days ago, I received a letter about my 2015 gated V8. I will contact the dealership to see if this is applicable to my manual R8.

The continuous load for each item is 750kg, resulting in a total limit of 3000kg, which is still rather helpful. Additionally, the failure point is expected to be at least twice that amount.

The threadstarter should consider purchasing adjustable rear camber arms. These aftermarket components provide a better degree of fine-tuning for your car's settings compared to the original specifications. Additionally, you may consider using adjustable rear toe-in arms to achieve complete adjustability. Ebay offers a wide range of items for sale, including both low-quality merchandise and high-quality products.

I have been unwell for a few days (I am still experiencing discomfort). I reached out to our only Kia Dealer, who informed me that he had previously attempted to address this very problem with Kia on behalf of another customer. However, Kia's response was that because they had not experienced any failures, they are not liable to provide coverage. Regarding the yearly bodywork check, I was informed that there is no authorised Kia representative available here to do the inspection. Therefore, it has not been conducted or certified. I am now using a wire brush to clean the brackets individually. After that, I am applying an anti-rust coating and then brushing on two coats of Satin Hammerite paint. Unfortunately, the local garage did not have any black aerosol paint available, so I would have to go 50 miles round trip to the next autostore to get it. I am propping up the back hatch with a wooden beam.

Thank you for the responses received so far. Indeed, I acknowledge that I may have shown an excessive emotional response. However, I remain dissatisfied with the current standard of some fittings. I will examine the struts tomorrow to see the process of their removal. I own rust treatment and paint that I acquired from past projects.

I am feeling rather let down today. This afternoon, I was rectifying a prevalent issue with Kia vehicles: the malfunctioning of the rear washer. I discovered that the rear NRV (non-return valve) was immobilised and extracted its internal components. After reinserting it, the result was a sudden and forceful flow. While reattaching the trim, I saw that the top brackets for the rear struts had signs of corrosion. It is regrettable that I did not discover this earlier. I captured photographs and sent them via email to our exclusive Kia Dealer in this area. In response, the dealer informed me that the warranty does not cover the mentioned items. The automobile is a mere 3 years old and is stored in the garage every night. While I acknowledge the possibility of my error, it is reasonable to expect that the brackets on any automobile, particularly one with a value of £30,000, should have a lifespan beyond 3 years. I will attempt to acquire the brackets, with the goal that they will not be excessively costly. Has anybody else encountered this problem?

The situation has the potential to deteriorate further. In 2020, my vehicle belongs to a category of cars that are prone to developing a damaged cylinder head. Anticipating its occurrence during the next year, while my power train warranty is still in effect, with a sense of frustration.

I am of the opinion that this subject has been previously discussed. I cannot remember whether there was any information in the discussion that might be useful. Conduct a search on the forum and see if any results appear. Although my vehicle's year and trim are equipped with a CD feature, I have not experienced any of the stated symptoms and I have never checked the display to see whether it is on while driving.

Indeed, it is the approach I would propose.

Obtaining a satisfactory agreement by paying in cash is improbable. Dealers want to get a refund from the financial sector. Engage in negotiations with a mindset akin to finance and thereafter convert to cash when you get the most advantageous agreement. Certain dealers may provide guidance on the appropriate destination, while others may sacrifice their efforts in order to get a sale.

I had a Porsche 981 GTS, followed by a 911 GTS, and found the services provided by a local independent Porsche expert to be quite fair for tyres and maintenance.

After removing and replacing the old one, I will retain it as a spare. The rear driver's side is also deteriorating. Furthermore, the windscreen is experiencing a JLR leak. Despite the fact that it is a 2017 automobile, we have managed to maintain it for a duration of 6.5 years. Tailgate has a distinct cognitive capacity. I instructed my wife to get a Macan, but she refused to comply.
-
Thank you everybody, I am grateful. I contacted John Craddock and was informed that their supplier does not own the specific item in question. Consequently, I was compelled to go visit JLR. Upon reflection, I should have just adapted to the situation. I will verify those hyperlinks, thank you once more.

The keyless entry for my wife's 2017 2.0D Autobiography is available. It is not unexpected that the lock on the front passenger door has malfunctioned. I reached out to a seller on Ebay and provided them with the VIN number, registration details, and such. Subsequently, they sent the "accurate" lock to replace the defective one. After removing the lock, which was quite simple after viewing several videos, I noticed that the provided lock had three cable attachments, whereas the one I removed only has two. I have reached out to the vendor to get their guidance. I neglected to install the replacement actuator and reassembled the door in its original configuration. Is anybody aware of the specific lock that I require? Enclosed herewith is an image. The first lock located on the right-hand side exhibits a total of two cable hookups. The number of replacements is three. Thank you for your assistance.

Can anybody provide an estimate on the cost of a brake replacement for a 2023 R8? What is the duration of their lifespan?

Hello everyone, I am about to purchase my 2023 Audi R8 RWD and have rejected most of the dealer's additional safeguards, save for the extended warranty. I am interested in learning about extra protective measures and if they are considered beneficial by those who have used them. The "Wear Protection" package costs $2500 and covers a duration of 4 years or 80,000 km. It includes 1 brake and rotor change, as well as battery and windscreen wiper replacements. The sales associate informed me that the price for non-ceramic new brakes on a R8 is $15,000 CAD. I intend to monitor this automobile, and if that is the situation, it does seem to be worthwhile. Uncertain whether I am being deceived, pun intended. Attached is a photo of their offerings.
