I am feeling rather let down today. This afternoon, I was rectifying a prevalent issue with Kia vehicles: the malfunctioning of the rear washer. I discovered that the rear NRV (non-return valve) was immobilised and extracted its internal components. After reinserting it, the result was a sudden and forceful flow. While reattaching the trim, I saw that the top brackets for the rear struts had signs of corrosion. It is regrettable that I did not discover this earlier. I captured photographs and sent them via email to our exclusive Kia Dealer in this area. In response, the dealer informed me that the warranty does not cover the mentioned items. The automobile is a mere 3 years old and is stored in the garage every night. While I acknowledge the possibility of my error, it is reasonable to expect that the brackets on any automobile, particularly one with a value of £30,000, should have a lifespan beyond 3 years. I will attempt to acquire the brackets, with the goal that they will not be excessively costly. Has anybody else encountered this problem?

The situation has the potential to deteriorate further. In 2020, my vehicle belongs to a category of cars that are prone to developing a damaged cylinder head. Anticipating its occurrence during the next year, while my power train warranty is still in effect, with a sense of frustration.

I am of the opinion that this subject has been previously discussed. I cannot remember whether there was any information in the discussion that might be useful. Conduct a search on the forum and see if any results appear. Although my vehicle's year and trim are equipped with a CD feature, I have not experienced any of the stated symptoms and I have never checked the display to see whether it is on while driving.

Indeed, it is the approach I would propose.

Obtaining a satisfactory agreement by paying in cash is improbable. Dealers want to get a refund from the financial sector. Engage in negotiations with a mindset akin to finance and thereafter convert to cash when you get the most advantageous agreement. Certain dealers may provide guidance on the appropriate destination, while others may sacrifice their efforts in order to get a sale.

I had a Porsche 981 GTS, followed by a 911 GTS, and found the services provided by a local independent Porsche expert to be quite fair for tyres and maintenance.

After removing and replacing the old one, I will retain it as a spare. The rear driver's side is also deteriorating. Furthermore, the windscreen is experiencing a JLR leak. Despite the fact that it is a 2017 automobile, we have managed to maintain it for a duration of 6.5 years. Tailgate has a distinct cognitive capacity. I instructed my wife to get a Macan, but she refused to comply.

Thank you everybody, I am grateful. I contacted John Craddock and was informed that their supplier does not own the specific item in question. Consequently, I was compelled to go visit JLR. Upon reflection, I should have just adapted to the situation. I will verify those hyperlinks, thank you once more.

The keyless entry for my wife's 2017 2.0D Autobiography is available. It is not unexpected that the lock on the front passenger door has malfunctioned. I reached out to a seller on Ebay and provided them with the VIN number, registration details, and such. Subsequently, they sent the "accurate" lock to replace the defective one. After removing the lock, which was quite simple after viewing several videos, I noticed that the provided lock had three cable attachments, whereas the one I removed only has two. I have reached out to the vendor to get their guidance. I neglected to install the replacement actuator and reassembled the door in its original configuration. Is anybody aware of the specific lock that I require? Enclosed herewith is an image. The first lock located on the right-hand side exhibits a total of two cable hookups. The number of replacements is three. Thank you for your assistance.

Can anybody provide an estimate on the cost of a brake replacement for a 2023 R8? What is the duration of their lifespan?

Hello everyone, I am about to purchase my 2023 Audi R8 RWD and have rejected most of the dealer's additional safeguards, save for the extended warranty. I am interested in learning about extra protective measures and if they are considered beneficial by those who have used them. The "Wear Protection" package costs $2500 and covers a duration of 4 years or 80,000 km. It includes 1 brake and rotor change, as well as battery and windscreen wiper replacements. The sales associate informed me that the price for non-ceramic new brakes on a R8 is $15,000 CAD. I intend to monitor this automobile, and if that is the situation, it does seem to be worthwhile. Uncertain whether I am being deceived, pun intended. Attached is a photo of their offerings.

When my daughter was 10, we lived in Skiathos, and the three of us would go on a scooter together. 😁

Why is it not possible to place her in a car seat in the back? That will be the most secure method. 👍👍

The statistics consistently malfunction, causing the automobile to cool down and interrupt the regeneration process. Check the hidden menu to monitor the temperature, and if it remains below 80 degrees, adjust the settings. Cost-effective task. Do you own a code reader to check for any DPF failure codes? Once the vehicle reaches the appropriate temperature, drive it steadily at about 65 mph and continue to clear the error codes until the regeneration process begins. Good luck since dealing with difficulties like these may be challenging. Cheers

Non-ceramic. This would need to be done after the transaction.

I just received the same trim. The moroney sticker indicates that power folding mirrors are not included as standard, just power side mirrors with turn lights. I am curious if the document is deceptive or if there is a typographical error on their website. The S Premium model has Power Auto Fold side mirrors.

The charger for my iPod 10 is not functioning properly.

The iPod/iPhone charges and plays via the USB in the top glove box but does not charge through the iPod dock. I must use the USB cord provided with the iPhone. -

Thank you for sharing. I now understand the reason why my iPod and iPhone are not charging. You cannot revert to previous versions of the Apple software/firmware. The issue also occurs with the iPod dock installed in my MY08 TDV8, indicating that it is not exclusive to MY10 integration. -
As indicated by the headline, what is your preferred supplementary attribute of the CX5? The head-up display is my preferred choice. Initially, I had a sceptical perspective about its use; but, I have now developed a desire for its widespread implementation in all automobiles. I have had the opportunity to operate several automobile models, ranging from the modest Fiat Panda to our CX5. It is my belief that all of these vehicles would see improvements in functionality if the driving information were shown inside the driver's direct line of sight.

Generation 4 Prius Plug-In Hybrid-EV Conversion
NAVITEL replied to NAVITEL's topic in General Car Chat
Yes, everything is satisfactory. Thank you. Indeed, I have experienced a single winter season in the United Kingdom with my just acquired Prius PHEV. The estimated range of the vehicle decreased to around 35 to 36 miles, however it should be noted that I like to travel at a slower pace. This morning, I completed a 2-mile trip to Morrisons using the electric vehicle (EV) mode. However, I switched to the hybrid vehicle (HV) mode for the last 1/4 mile when ascending a hill. Upon activation of the engine, the electric vehicle (EV) range experienced a decrease of about 0.6 miles. However, upon reaching the parking destination, the engine successfully replenished the EV range to its previous level and subsequently deactivated (entering EV mode). There likely exists an efficiency rationale behind this design choice, whereby the programming of the system enables the utilisation of a small portion of electrical energy from the Battery during instances when the engine is activated. -
Generation 4 Prius Plug-In Hybrid-EV Conversion

It is accurate to state that the VW Golf GTE has the capability to override the computer system, so allowing the user to fully preserve the electric vehicle (EV) miles. Conversely, the Prius PHEV consistently prioritises actions that optimise overall efficiency with respect to the EV miles. I anticipate that my assertions may be subject to correction by others in relation to this matter.
