Those are very satisfactory. Rarely do I like aftermarket wheels, but these ones are pretty nice.

Problems with remote control or key fob

Excellent, I am pleased that you have restored it to its original state. I am curious whether the process of removing and replacing the same battery will function as a cold reboot or reset. -
Problems with remote control or key fob
Gianni682 replied to honeycut_mazda5's topic in General Car Chat
I have reservations about the possibility that the key fob batteries are the cause. Both of our key fobs are functioning well, and the vehicle's manufacturing date is January 2023. The car has been driven for a total of 12,900 kilometres. It seems that you may have inadvertently activated the 'battery saving' option on the fobs by hitting numerous buttons. Examine this and see whether you are able to reset it: -
Excessive heat generation - but not in the way you may expect.

I have been informed that the problem is most likely related to the thermostat, and replacing it should resolve the issue. While I am doing that, I will also inspect the seal. Thank you. However, it seems that the fan is only equipped with a single speed. I speculated that the fan may be equipped with dual speed functionality, and that the resistor might be concealed in an undisclosed location. -

I concur, however, it is worth noting that this particular automobile is equipped with just two wires that provide power to the fan, rather than the expected three. This observation implies that the resistor is not situated in close proximity to the fan. Additionally, these two lines are concealed inside the wiring harness under the fuse box. I am encountering difficulty in locating any online documentation pertaining to this specific wiring configuration. The issue is that the 2004 R50 model should have a wiring loom that is different from the one it now has. -
I just purchased a Mini One as my daughter's first vehicle. When the engine is in an idle state after being run, it will experience overheating due to the low-speed fan not activating. Although the issue has been well documented, the available solutions only address a 3-wire setup, but I am dealing with a 2-wire setup. Is there a solution available for this wire? The wires are in excellent shape, with one end connected to the motor and the other end concealed behind a wiring loom. Thank you.

The symptoms you are now encountering seem to be indicative of "limp mode," whereby the electronic control unit (ECU) of the vehicle restricts its performance owing to a detected fault. Consequently, the car's shifting behaviour deviates from its usual operation. Therefore, it is possible that the issue is not specifically related to the gearbox. As previously said, after the garage does a diagnostic utilising their scan equipment, it should provide them with information on the specific issue. Once the issue has been resolved, the gears should autonomously change in a regular manner.

Regrettably, I do not possess the desired information. My Audi R8 is now covered by a warranty, and the dealership repaired it at no cost to me, as per the terms of the policy. They provided me with an explanation of what was incorrect. Additionally, a regulating heater valve was changed. I am now experiencing the problem of the automatic mode disengaging after a certain period of time. The manual mode works well, but, I get the sensation that this occurrence is not expected. Fortunately, I am still covered by the warranty and I have found a helpful dealer (not affiliated with Audi) who is now investigating the issue.

The start/stop button is located on the right side of the dashboard below the steering wheel and is marked with the letter A. The 2-month period of inactivity may have resulted in a depleted battery, maybe due to a faulty cell. Having 5 functioning cells at 2.3 volts each would yield a total of 11.5 volts, without accounting for the voltage in the defective cell. Perform a load test to eliminate it as a potential cause. Defective grounds may lead to inaccurate measurements, as well as poorly connected or corroded battery connections.

During periods of low battery status, especially in winter, a reminder prompts you to start the engine and charge the battery. You may have a defective battery. They may register reduced voltage levels during extended periods of stop-and-go operation or brief trips. Uncertain about the time presentation. I will inspect it the next time I am driving.

You may do this task by using a third-party application such as FAT32 Format.

A 128GB USB flash drive should enough, format it as FAT32. MP3 and WMA file formats are compatible, compatibility with other formats is uncertain. It can process around 6,000 files before reaching its maximum.

I own a 2017 C250 d AMG Line Saloon, and I have observed that the rear tyres on my vehicle have a very limited lifespan, lasting barely 4,000 km. The Pirelli Cint P7 tyre model. Is this considered typical and are there other tyre options that may be more
Gianni682 replied to colinallcars's topic in General Car Chat
Based on the analysis of the previous three data sets, I anticipate a minimum yield of 22,000 units from my mine. The vehicle was initially equipped with 19-inch run-flat Continental tyres from the manufacturer. These tyres were subsequently changed at mileages of 23,000 and 24,000 with the same brand and size, while still retaining almost 2 millimetres of remaining tread depth at the lowest position. After transitioning to the Goodyear F1 tyres, it has been observed that these tyres exhibit reduced noise levels and seem to perform well. However, due to the limited use of just 2,000 km, it is difficult to ascertain their long-term durability.
