  1. Take special care to spot the grey ones on the northern side of the M25. You have a good probability of spotting a street light if you leave an area where there are street lights and enter an area where there are none. Keep an eye out for them in the area between the M11 and M25 and J25 on the A10.
  2. Five years have passed since anybody posted here. Create a new discussion.
  3. Although this post is old, I have to ask: how could a vehicle that had previously belonged to a smoker pass the CPO inspection?
  4. Oil filters on older Mercedes diesels, such as the OM602, are just an insert rather than a metal cannister, making filters from various manufacturers physically interchangeable. I wouldn't dare use a budget filter (Framm/ Crossland?) in there to save ten pounds.
  5. The problem may lie in the oil pressure sensor. Assuming, of course, that the problem isn't any unpleasant engine sounds but rather the oil pressure guages' slowness to move off 0 bar on start up. My OM602 engined w201 190d, with over 300,000 miles on the odometer, immediately pins at 3 bar upon start up, and the gauge only records a correct pressure reading after it has reached working temperature. MANN oil filters are the only ones I'll use.
  6. There is a lengthy write-up about starting the engine elsewhere on this forum.
  7. There isn't a Haynes manual for the Kuga MK1 (or there wasn't one when I looked). The Ford workshop manual, however, is located elsewhere on the site and will provide you with the necessary information. The mk2 Focus is a good alternative source of knowledge since the underlying technologies are extremely comparable to those of the mk1 Kuga.
  8. There is no mk1 Kuga Haynes manual available (or there wasn't when I looked). However, the Ford repair manual is available on the site and should have all the information you want. Since the foundations of the mk1 Kuga and the mk2 Focus are so similar, the latter is another credible source of knowledge.
  9. On October 22nd, I was sent a letter informing me of a safety recall, which may or may not be linked. "This recall campaign requires the powertrain control module fitted to your vehicle to be reprogrammed in order to protect your engine from developing a fuel injector fault, which may in turn lead to the engine stalling"... "This recall campaign is designed to protect your engine from developing a fuel injector fault, which may in turn lead to the engine stalling." "While the aforementioned work is being carried out, the very latest and improved engine calibration software can now be installed on your vehicle. This will improve the way that your engine operates and will improve the NVH/noise refinement characteristics of the engine itself." The work is scheduled to be completed in a couple of weeks ac
  10. I'll recheck the bushings, but I'm wondering if it could be the steering rack. I would have assumed shrubs would be present at any speed; it is strange that they are only visible above 50-60 km/h.
  11. Mine will be collected on Thursday (April 22, 2021). The only distinction is that mine is the gt sport in the same colour, while yours is the new e skyactiv x. I trust everything went well with yours since you've had it for some time.
