mrnobady
I have exchanged my 2021 CX-30 for the newly released 2025 version model in Takumi specification. I have not driven it much yet, but first impressions are positive. Some elements inside have shifted or altered somewhat, but nothing significant. The primary difference is the larger 2.5-liter engine. It is satisfactory so far, but more driving is necessary to ascertain whether there is an enhancement. I am eager to evaluate the comparative fuel efficiency. I am curious whether any other UK members own the 2025 model at this time. My salesman informed me that I was the first recipient of one at their dealership. I anticipate engaging in more driving and evaluating it! honeycut_mazda5
I presume yours is a Takumi equipped with a G series engine. To my knowledge, the X series in the 2025 models continues to have 2.0-liter engines.
mrnobady
Indeed, the Skyactiv X engine remains unaltered.
vitessear3
I speculate if it pertains to cost reductions. The Skyactive G is a far simpler engine, hence it should be less expensive to manufacture.
mrnobady
Not a reduction in expenses. You may still choose either the G or X engine. The G has only enlarged in dimension. Presumably due to its reduced emissions.
DMGRS
I acquired my 2025 model year Exclusive Line on September 26th, the first unit from my dealership, and he speculated it would be the first in the nation; however, I suspect other dealerships make such claims. I likewise completed a 2.5 and am pleased so far, however I am still proceeding cautiously. The 2025 2.5 is a commendable value at just £50 over the 2024 2.0, and it now has Alexa for effective voice control.
mrnobady
Impressive. It would be prudent to get a 2025 model, should it be available, given the price difference is negligible. I got an excellent bargain on mine as well. They lacked availability in my preferred model and colour, necessitating a delay for production in Japan. Fortunately, they successfully intercepted one in route to another dealer. I have not yet used Alexa. Does it provide enhanced functionality compared to normal voice control? Have you seen the "TSR performance reduced" warning during startup? I continue to get it.
DMGRS
Indeed, I have experienced it many times as well, but it seemed to resolve itself.
DMGRS
I am unfamiliar with in-car control since this is my first Mazda. I have just tried "drive me to XXXXX," and it functioned well; however, I assume it worked similarly with the prior system as well. I have successfully integrated it with my Home Automation system, allowing me to command "open or close garage door," and it responds accordingly, which is convenient. mrnobady
I conversed with my dealer today, and they said that the TSR warning is standard and not a cause for concern. It seems that the dashboard is only experiencing a delay in communication with the satellite navigation system.
DMGRS
Have you used the speed camera alert function in your vehicle yet? I have configured it to provide constant alerts; however, it seems that there are no speed camera sites in the navigation database. I have passed many speed camera sites without receiving any alerts, and when examining the map, there are no speed cameras shown anywhere. I would want to ascertain whether you experience any improved outcomes. The issue is not significant, since the vehicle's many safety measures provide several warnings if one inadvertently exceeds the limit. However, if the feature is intended to function, it should operate well.
mrnobady
Have you used the speed camera alert feature in your car yet? I have set it to provide continuous notifications; however, it seems that there are no speed camera locations in the navigation database. I have traversed many speed camera locations without getting any notifications, and when reviewing the map, there are no speed cameras shown anywhere. I would want to determine whether you have had any enhanced results. The problem is negligible, since the vehicle's many safety features provide several alerts if one unintentionally over the limit. Nonetheless, if the feature is designed to work, it ought to perform well.
DMGRS
It tends to emit beeping sounds, does it not? I am now experimenting with the options in an attempt to disable most features, although I am aware that many of them revert to default at each startup. mrnobady
I have comprehended it fairly well now. There seems to be a singular issue causing it to emit persistent beeping, the nature of which remains unclear to me. It is an ineffective alert if it fails to specify the issue it is notifying you about!
