  1. OK. I've seen a lot of advertisements for these dongles online, but how do I pick the right one? Cheapest isn't always the best, but I'd rather not waste money on something that isn't essential. Please know how much I value your advice.
  2. Does it really have an obd2 dongle? Is there a way to address that? How much is it, and where can I get some?
  3. Is it something I can plug in, or are you saying I can do it while driving? I have attempted multiple methods to reset it while in the car, but to no avail.
  4. Yes. Even after switching them out, the light remains on.
  5. The answer would also pique my interest. Changing out the sensor is easy; just look up how to do it on YouTube. I finished it, but now I can't seem to get the warning light that, if I'm not mistaken, says it's time for a brake service. Even after trying a few times with the various solutions provided, the light remains on.
  6. I am unsure of the time it took to resolve because the poster vanished. This is terrifying; I (naively) thought that the owner was responsible for fixing a leased vehicle that broke down for reasons beyond the lessee's control. I wish you the best of luck in resolving this matter.
  7. You can use the search function to locate previous threads discussing EQC HV battery failures. We didn't always hear the final outcome, and I do recall hearing about long delays. The EQC was unfortunately discontinued three years ago after only selling a small number of units for a short period of time. The fact that MB is out of replacement batteries after five months and the cost of having a new one made might make the car's value go up might be enough to make anyone think twice. As someone who isn't a lessee, I find your remarks regarding the lease to be quite peculiar. I suppose it's all up to the terms and conditions, but it seems really unfair to have to keep paying for something that you're not getting—an EQC—even after the contract has ended. It would be great if someone with experience in leasing could provide some guidance.

  9. excellent article. Do you mean the left side sedner or the one with the floats? I'm having the same problem and need to know which one failed. Which one did you find to be defective?
  10. Greetings to all, My CX-90 underwent maintenance at the dealership last week. Software updates were implemented. Currently, the proximity feature of the car unlock key is malfunctioning. Prior to the service, as I neared the driver's door, it became unlocked. Following the service, the door remains locked. I must physically disengage the door lock by utilising the unlock button on the vehicle key. The configurations are adjusted to keyless entry mode. Has anyone encountered this problem? If that is the case, what prompted you to rectify it? I appreciate it.
  11. I'd want to add a third row to my dualiner as you did; do you happen to have the drill sizes you used? I doubt my yoda-like sense of smell could locate the caged nuts. Did you also insert the fourth seating row? Many vianos and travelers don't seem to be aware of it, and I wonder whether that's due of the gas tank. I want to be able to share in your joy. Thanks
  12. I've had two C207s and been very satisfied with each one. My buddy has a great connection with his local BMW dealer, but he's been thinking about making a switch. Keep still, I said, and he complied. It's unfortunate that, contrary to people' experiences on this site, not all Mercedes dealers are as good as the one I use.
  13. My M103 W124 260E has only ever used Mann oil filters.A genuine Mercedes oil filter was what I used the previous time.Compared to Mann and Bosch, they are noticeably shorter in stature.
  14. OFTR That's kind of the point.Though it's not always completely accurate.
  15. A Piece of The Road, It's the models I'm familiar with, not the powertrains. Therefore, I agree with you that the model should be included in the forum post.
  16. Only the cylinder head is different that I'm aware of.In order to access it, however, the cylinder head must be removed. This is a gas-powered motor. In order to facilitate everyone's search, you should have specified diesel. Check this guidebook for answers. Index of the Model 124 Maintenance Guide I knew a man who changed his oil and filter and ran into the same issue...Mann or Mercedes filters only.
  17. As anticipated. The timing chain must be replaced. Do I let them do it and then complain about why it needed to be done in the first place, or do I get off their case? I have already complained to them when I scheduled the appointment and received a free diagnostic test and a verbal agreement that I will not be charged more than £1000 for the work. I have already shelled out £100 for a hair car for the previous weekend. Surely they should be aware of this type of problem, or at least if a service recall was issued due to this flaw. The aforementioned dealer has been present for who knows how long. before 2008 at minimum. Apologies, the tirade is over. I'll acquire my outerwear.
  18. I took the automobile to the Mazda service centre this morning. Let the games and hilarity commence.
