blueWING007
Greetings! I own a 2006 1 Series SE and want a stereo compatible with Android Auto. I am seeing an issue where all the available choices are for vehicles that have a double din radio and separate temperature controls. I am also unable to locate a radio with integrated temperature control. Does anybody possess suggestions on how I may locate an appropriate match or provide guidance? Thank you. DenishP4
You are only incorporating a display that has Android Auto, while the original head unit remains intact. Does yours possess the storage container located on the upper section of the dashboard? Edited January 25 by DenishP4

blueWING007
I much appreciate your response! It lacks the dashboard compartment. Only the one next to the gear stick. Should I attach this item to the dashboard?

DenishP4
Conduct study to identify the appropriate kind, since the non-dash compartment variant requires dash modification for proper fitting.

NevoBMW320i
A single DIN fascia may be installed, enabling the fitting of a component such as this. It might obstruct some of the vents, but one must use the available resources.

blueWING007
Oh! That is an additional intriguing concept to investigate! I must keep the centre vents disabled to prevent the machine from overheating. I will include this into my study and evaluate the results. Thank you! coolguy
I have installed one of these, and I am certain that they can be integrated with the heating controls; all my steering wheel buttons, including reverse, function well. I also get a vehicle display including radar configurations while reversing; allow me to examine it and provide the URL.
