Purchased second-hand wheels from C43/450, which had the following dimensions: Front - 7.5Jx18 ET33 Rear - 8.5Jx18 ET49 The rears are OK, provided they fall within the manufacturer's specified range. I am perplexed by the fronts. The manufacturer specifies that the permissible offset range is between 42 and 46, however mine measures 33. Will it adversely impact the 4MATIC, posing any hazards to it? Will it also impact the driving in any manner? I appreciate your assistance in advance. Most Mercedes wheels are positioned too deeply inside the wheel arches for my preference, necessitating spacers for an aesthetically pleasing appearance; hence, an extension of around 10mm may enhance the visual appeal. DenishP4 Posted September 22 Share Posted September 22 The offset will not impact the 4Matic system; however, it may be adversely affected by any discrepancy in rolling radius between the front and rear wheels. If it resembles the BMW XDrive system, there exists a prescribed tolerance. Your insurance company, however, may oppose the concept. While it may be apparent, it is prudent to verify.
