DenishP4
I am considering purchasing an independent wheel for the R8. I have identified Eurozone/EZT and Exclusive as two entities that seem to provide a comparable offering. The wheels provide a high degree of customisation, allowing users to choose specific aspects such as perforated leather and carbon fibre, along with orange stitching, to align with the interior design of the Madras orange thread. anything like to this..... Can anybody offer me with a suggestion based on their experience with these providers? Both seem to have a same price of $1099. Thank you in advance. nimbuye5
Ensure that these firms are using original equipment manufacturer (OEM) cores. A significant portion of the work is derived from China.
MidnightMarauder
If you want to replace it, I would consider examining the Gen 2 wheels. The current models have a more athletic and modern appearance, including a much reduced airbag/horn centre portion compared to the Gen 1. I have been examining many alternatives in a casual manner. It is likely that I will opt for the Gen 2 wheel update.
nimbuye5
Indeed! The Gen 2 wheels seem visually appealing in a Gen 1 vehicle.
DenishP4
What is the operational mechanism of a Gen2 wheel when equipped with additional drive select and stop/start buttons? According to EZT/Eurozone, they use factory cores and provide a reimbursement of $250 upon the return of the factory wheel to their establishment. stevenkeyte
It is remarkable how several enterprises are procuring their wheels from China (I am familiar with the seller), appending a substantial additional cost, and marketing them as their "custom" wheels in this region. DreamCatcher88
There is no affiliation or connection with the vendor. The wheel lacks carbon, although it is visually appealing.
