You might be wrong if you assume it's completely random. Assuming the following conditions are met: Unless the passenger possesses the key fob, the walk away feature will not activate if a passenger exits and closes the door 'After' the driver closes the door and walks out of range. If I go around the back of the car to the passenger side, open and close the door, and listen closely, I can hear the arming chirp. However, you are unable to move around the vehicle before being asked to walk away. The tailboard won't close until the key fob holder is no longer within range, at which point the walk away feature won't work.

I feel much better now. Oh, my!

On April 20th, I purchased a 2026 CX90. As soon as I step away from the door, it refuses to lock. In addition, the option to "walk away" is enabled. It does this without warning. The key fob's battery needed changing. Do you have any suggestions?

You make a valid point. An image can serve as a useful memento at any time 👌

When you replace the cap's large o ring, be careful to place it in the correct groove.

It is much appreciated that you gave me the heads-up.

Almost all of the oil will stay in the filter and very little will spill. Gather a lot of paper towels and scatter them around the house.

Yesterday, I changed the oil on my W203 diesel engine because it was an emergency. Though I do have a replacement filter, I was unable to install it since I was missing the tool necessary to do so. The tool will be mine tomorrow. The oil filter is conveniently located on top of the engine, towards the front, making it easy to access. Outside of the old oil filter, does anyone have any idea how much engine oil could be dripping from the engine? I have no plans to change the oil at this time because there are less than 200 miles on the new oil. Much obliged for the advice given; best regards

I bet that software was from a long time ago! So long as you don't have to pay for cable, I'm happy for you. -

I appreciate everyone's responses. The "Auto Standby" wasn't shown when I searched for it. After I updated the app since I saw it needed it, this option showed up! Everything looks to be going smoothly now that I've configured it. Much obliged. -

This is what my EV6 and AAWireless work best with. -

You can set the AAWireless app to only attempt a connection when your phone and automobile are already in a Bluetooth connection. No issues at all with my Niro EV. -
In spite of my leaving and locking the car, my AAWireless dongle tries to connect with my phone every five seconds. I can tell it's because the car's USB port stays active even after lockup. According to US-based forums, one possible workaround is to use a data-only cable that draws power from the car's USB A port rather than the USB C port (which turns off during lockup). I was wondering if anyone had any luck finding a compatible cable in the UK after trying this?

Hello there! 😊
-
warning light for trye pressure.

The pressures are correct, and I have repeatedly attempted to reset the tyre pressure warning light. watched a plethora of do-it-yourself videos, yet the problem persists. Is it necessary to replace a certain part? Because the Gen 1 wheels that come standard with BMWs are so soft, I'm riding on TSW rims instead. Even after all these years, putting them on is still painless! Could someone kindly lend a hand with this matter?
