Like yours, PHEV's two are in perfect alignment throughout the summer, but when the weather turns chilly, they're just a couple of miles apart at the base. Therefore, temperature affects the material they are constructed from. Negligible ones, though, can be negligible. I beheld a 22-inch bronze plate that was, in fact, shaped like a banana. Poking your fingers through the opening would be quite an adventure. Those people who were pushed out by the fuel filler aren't the same people, in my opinion.

This was the first thing I did when I got my brand-new 2023 HEV (73 plate) from the dealer; there was a lot of discussion on the subject on the forums back then. It worked good, although I also saw a little misalignment towards the summer's conclusion. They refused to take any action because my VIN wasn't listed in the production run, even though I enquired about it during the 2-year servicing in November. I didn't care to investigate it because, to be honest, it's barely perceptible, and winter is here. Would it be possible to have a second look once it warms up? 🤪

I Had it on my 2022 Sportage, after reading several other owners had the same problem i was gutted, i wanted to be unique and be the only person ever to have a faulty cap that wouldnt fit flush against the rest of the bodywork so I took it back to where I bought it and told them about it, to my surprise i didnt have to book it in and come back in a month`s time, the service manager said they could fix it straight away, make yourself a cup of drink and get comfy, literally about 45 minutes later my car was back outside and keys were handed back to the girl on reception, then both me and the service manager went outside and inspected it and it was as i imagined it to be, a snug, flat fitting fuel cap, I asked how did they mend it, he said it`s to do with where the rubber filler pipe fits the metal neck of the fuel tank, for some reason when they fit it in the factory they dont tighten it up and as the vehicle was driven around with fuel in it the tank it moves about a bit till it settles down and because the pipe fixings aren`t tight it pushes the filler pipe against the filler cap forcing it out, al the technician does is relocates the rubber filler neck over the metal neck and tightens it up, never to be taken apart again i add!!

In the summer of 2025, the issue manifested on my 73 reg. In November, I brought it up at service with my dealer, and they took care of it without a hitch, all while it was still under warranty.
-
Perhaps the person asking the question is unaware of the phrase and thinks you've already given them an answer. Early '22 reg vehicles had issues with filler caps shaped like bananas, but I haven't heard of any problems with '23 reg and later. Your dealer should be able to remedy it under warranty, as it is a recognised defect. Do not even think about trying to stuff your boots with anything!

After purchasing a 2023 1.6 GDI HEV GT Line S, I went to fill up the tank for the first time and immediately observed that the filler flap was visibly protruding from the bodywork. Specifically, the bottom front corner was out of line. Has anyone else noticed this flaw?

Before beginning work on the drivers, I retracted the calliper (placed it in service mode), removed the pads, and popped into the house for a few minutes. However, while I was there, the handbrake came on, so I had to remove the motor from my calliper and use an 8/10mm bit. I used an Allen key to fully wind the piston on the passenger side, but it still wouldn't work. To prevent it from winding back in on its own, I put the vehicle into service mode and disconnected the brake calliper. I also tried using brembo pads on my mom's Evoque, but they didn't work either. In the end, I bought ebc pads, and they worked perfectly.
-
I am grateful, It has been determined that the piston may be pushed back around 3 mm at the beginning, then wound back using the tool until it stops. After that, it can be pushed back somewhat farther, just enough to accommodate the new pads. Easy when you have knowledge about...... The fluid very slightly elevated the master cylinder level; I did not open the bleed nipple.

Greetings everyone; After keeping the button down for 5 seconds, shutting off the engine, and then releasing it after 2 seconds, I was able to retract the calliper piston while attempting to remove the back pads. According to what I've read online, the technique of holding the throttle down won't work for my particular kind of automobile. The piston wouldn't retract completely even after I used a calliper rewind tool. My new Brembo P 86.029 pads are either 1 mm too thick or my piston is getting caught. I don't know which one it is. Tomorrow, I will test the opposite side to determine if the issue persists and to rule out a calliper defect. I would much appreciate any recommendation. Much obliged.

I had a wish list and a list of items I didn't want when I bought my 2024 CX-30. A sunroof was absolutely not something I wanted. I never would have thought to use one, and living in the hot summers of southern Arizona, I assumed the sunroof seals would dry up, crack, and shrink with time, adding to the burden of having to replace them. That, I believe, reduced it to the 2.5S basic model and the Sport trim. The choice was further reduced to a 2.5S when I chose the 16" wheels/tires with somewhat higher sidewalls to mitigate some road bumps.

A 2000 Millenia was the first sunroof-equipped vehicle I ever purchased. For more than two decades, I drove it about with the sunroof open "some" of the time, but rarely. It was completely trouble-free for me. Sunroofs are standard on all three of my Mazdas at the moment. My 2006 Mazda3 is the eldest, and on sunny days I open the sunroof on a frequent basis, especially on the commute home from work. There has never been an issue; in fact, I have never given it any special attention in terms of upkeep. Because I couldn't care less about having a sunroof, I had planned to get a base model without one when I purchased my 2020 CX-30. Unfortunately, the top Premium model was the only one available in the colour I really liked—Polymetal Grey. I now have a second sunroof. From time to time, I've opened it without any problems. I just purchased a CX-50 with a sunroof. I have owned it since mid-December, but I haven't driven it 2,000 miles yet. I think I've opened it once. Oddly enough, the sliding panel seems to just lift up and slide outside beyond the fixed panel in the back. Its slanted position made me think of a spoiler. I don't really need a sunroof most of the time, but it does add some comfort and I've never had any issues with it.

The glass sunroof really opens up the cabin, giving the impression of more space and light.
-
Just like you, I opted out of a sun roof and saved even more money by purchasing a used '23.
-
I spotted two 2023 CX30 Preferred models that came with a sunroof credit, which means they are preferred packages without a sunroof, when I was shopping around for my new car in January of that year, during a parts scarcity.
-
Without regular maintenance to keep the tiny drainage holes free, sunroofs of any kind are just another potential source of unneeded trouble. You won't have to pay a considerable fortune to fix your car's interior once it is clogged from water that has been sitting in filthy or dusty conditions for a while (not to mention tiny leaves and other debris). I bought a 2022 CX-30 Carbon with the sunroof installed, but I despised it and never opened it more than once (and that was only to make sure it worked). According to what I've read, panoramic roofs in cars are much worse than regular sunroofs, yet many still adore them and think of them as "premium vehicles." 🤎 I opted for the 2026 Mazda3 Select-Sport sedan over the Preferred trim because of one feature: the absence of a sunroof. I was willing to forego the (in Arizona, worthless) heated seats and powered/memory drivers seat in exchange for this. Neither of those features is anything I long for.
-
Without one, please. It's going in the trash. I covered it with a Heatshield sunshade.
-
Salutations and salutations. My CX 30 is wonderful, however I'm the only one who doesn't want the preferred sunroof option. The sunroof was not an option for me when I purchased the sport. Or am I the only one who can do this? Some people just prefer

You can see a lot of these autos. To hell with it, just walk away and keep searching.

Some mot testers can be a little off when it comes to warnings, so I would either check it myself or get someone else to do it. Due to the salt and road conditions, as well as the fact that they are the closest parts to the road and will inevitably take a hammering from stones and other debris, subframes will inevitably see surface rust.

The subframe failed on my 2016 Mercedes C207E400, and the vehicle was written off.Get out of here.Upon examination, my vehicle was cleared by a renowned expert. My vehicle's frame rusted within.
