1. Disregard the 'Approved Used' designation and thoroughly examine the automobile as if you were purchasing it from an individual seller on eBay - carefully evaluate all aspects. Two times. Indeed. 2. Request a hard copy of the service history prior to finalising the agreement. Either in physical form or as a PDF document. Avoid accepting a brief overview in an email or a superficial examination of the salesperson's screen. 3. Inquire about the whole service history, including any repairs, whether the automobile was serviced by the same dealer or within the same network. However, they may refuse to provide this information to you, invoking the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 4. Any agreements made with the salesperson about new tyres, new brakes, bumper scuff repairs, or repairs to worn leather must be fulfilled before to pickup. If you arrive to pick up the automobile and find that anything is not prepared, regardless of how little it may be, refrain from taking possession of it. Instead, request that the responsible party inform you of the anticipated timeframe for when the car will be fully prepared, including all previously agreed-upon things. It is important to note that the Consumer Rights Act 2015 will address any problems with the car's condition at the time of sale, however the Approved Used guarantee would not cover such concerns. Consequently, the resolution of these problems can only be handled by the dealer who provided the item, rather than any dealer affiliated with MB. This is particularly important if the supplying dealer is not in close proximity to you. It is crucial to thoroughly inspect everything, as you will not have the convenience of visiting your local dealer and requesting a repair under the Approved Used warranty for issues that should have been identified and resolved by the supplying dealer before the vehicle was delivered. 6. Inspect the quality and manufacturer of the tyres, and get a report on the percentage of wear on the brake discs. 7. Prior to signing, request a firmware update for the infotainment system and the installation of the most recent maps from the dealer at no cost as part of the agreement. 8. Inquire with the salesman about the presence of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in the vehicle, and get written confirmation (by email) whether these features are really included. Interestingly, a considerable number of MB automobiles were not originally equipped with this feature, and it may be difficult to install it afterwards. 9. Consider carefully before purchasing a vehicle equipped with a BLUETEC engine and the notorious AdBlue system... Apologies if this comes out as rather discouraging... nonetheless, if executed well, you will have an exceptional automobile. Best wishes.

Obtain a 10% discount on the car's price, allowing you to personally make the purchase. This is the approach I used.

It is likely that if there is a fuseboard in the boot, there will be an unswitched supply cable located inside it. Performing a little experiment with a multimeter can quickly determine if that is the situation. If such is the case, I would anticipate that connecting your charger to a fused outlet via piggybacking would be rather simple.

Wouldn't he still need to open the car's hood each time and manipulate the charging wire to connect it to the battery terminals? For what it's worth, I see the advantages of a setup where one just opens the trunk, connects a cable, and then closes the trunk, particularly if this process is going to be performed often.

Simply get a matte black paint protection film (PPF) and attempt to cover the desired object with it. Alternatively, you may hire a professional to apply a new coat of paint in a matte black finish. I have seen some such blemishes resulting from the use of a radar detector, but I attribute them to typical deterioration over time. Life is too brief to be too obsessive-compulsive.

Hello, I own a C207E400.The vehicle was originally equipped with Conti 5p tyres from the factory, but had internal and exterior tyre damage on the rear despite having a relatively low mileage. I changed to Goodyear Ass 5 tyres and saw significant overall improvement. However, I encountered a pothole which caused the back tyre to burst. The wear on the front tyres from both tyre providers was adequate. I had to install an inexpensive Chinese tyre in order to return home. Currently, it is quite difficult to get 255/30/19 tyres from Goodyear. Most wider rear wheel tyres typically experience wear in the central region. I often get my car's wheel alignment checked, but it may be challenging to locate a provider that can do the task accurately.

Their appearance is impressive. Original Equipment Manufacturer Plus

Audi did not produce a mesh RS-style grille for the first generation. There are several aftermarket models available, all of them are manufactured in China. Nonetheless, we manufacture an RS-style mesh grille using the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Gen 1 grilles. Many buyers on this forum have purchased hundreds of items. The quality of this version is far superior than the Chinese one, however it comes at a higher price.

Which brand of MAF sensor should I use as a replacement?

Pierburg was once the original equipment supplier for several early BMW models, therefore it may be worth considering. -
In Spring 2023, I purchased a 2022 A class vehicle and was offered a care package at a set monthly cost of £34. I was informed that this price was decreased because the car was still considered new. When comparing the cost of 12 months of servicing at £34 per month with the pricing of services at other garages, there is little disparity. Based on my previous encounters, I have seen that Mercedes shops possess a lesser degree of expertise and interest in the vehicle compared to independent Mercedes specialists. Consequently, I am contemplating the cancellation of my care plan, especially after my recent first service. For example, I received information from an engineer at Mercedes Birmingham that Wayne at WDM informed me. Mercedes has superior knowledge of the brand Mercedes compared to any employee of the company, and seems to understand that the primary objective of the dealerships is to sell automobiles. Does anybody else believe it is preferable to choose an independent Mercedes specialist?

Phone sync difficulties with RNSE - RSNE update?
nickoyster4 replied to MidnightMarauder's topic in General Car Chat
I am curious whether it is just contemporary smartphones that lack complete compatibility with the first iterations of Bluetooth. While it is theoretically expected, it is likely that there will be limited testing time available to support these outdated standards in reality. around a decade ago, I configured my phone using the R8 model, but I have not done so with any subsequent devices, which occurred around 5 years ago. I recall that it was outdated at that time, lacking features such as phone book synchronisation and dialling choices. However, it was ideal in that it prevented me from using the phone while on a leisurely drive. -
Commencing with the 2024 model, some trim levels have transitioned from standard USB ports to USB-C ports. It may be necessary to get a new cable or an adapter.

Why choose the 3er or 5er when there is a set available for our 6er. I purchased BMW all-weather mats for my 6 Series Gran Coupe.

Washing - soap leaking into engine compartment
nickoyster4 replied to CyberMage's topic in General Car Chat
Indeed. I have consistently used a pressure washer on my 2 R8's and 3 Huracans. Minimal water enters the engine compartment, with most of it coming from the hatch opening and dripping off. Begin at the highest point and consistently spray downwards. -
Missing feature in CX-90 Turbo S Trim
nickoyster4 replied to norbury.brook's topic in General Car Chat
I am frustrated that my Turbo S level does not have auto-tilt mirrors as advertised in the official Mazda literature. I test drove the vehicle and didn't verify that specific feature, assuming it was included based on my study on the trim level. Still enamoured with the automobile, but feeling irritated. Twice, I have had a strange occurrence where the passenger mirror in my vehicle automatically moves all the way down and hits the stops, unable to travel any farther down. Unusual little insect. Does the Turbo S level have automatic tilt mirrors while in reverse? According to Mazda's literature, yes, although its reliability is questionable. I have discovered the solution to this. This is my first experience using CarPlay, so I am a novice. Being a dedicated Apple user, I was frustrated that my 2017 Dodge Durango did not have CarPlay, which was introduced in the 2018 model. Here is the reason for the WiFi: Wireless carplay uses Wi-Fi for transmitting data such as Maps and Music. Bluetooth establishes the connection, but the data transfer occurs via Wi-Fi. Bluetooth lacks sufficient bandwidth and requires Wi-Fi for data transmission.
-
On another forum, it was mentioned that the CX-90 used a WiFi connection for CarPlay. Does anybody know the reason? Is there a specific rationale for choosing WiFi over Bluetooth? Bluetooth can simultaneously connect several devices, but WiFi can only connect one device at a time. This is likely to result in more problems.
