  1. I undertook the procedure of rectifying the error on my automobile's V5C document, since the dealer who sold me the car had misspelt my first name and neglected to include my middle name. I completed Section 3 as required and sent it to the DVLA without included a cover letter. Section 3 of the form is explicitly designated for communicating a change of name and/or address. Approximately two weeks later, I got the revised V5C document which now had my middle name, but unfortunately still included the incorrect spelling of my first name. How frustrating! I contacted the DVLA and had a conversation with a quite cooperative woman who agreed to rectify the misspelling and provide a new V5C document. She instructed me to discard the wrong item upon receiving the re-issued one, which came three days later.
  2. That is peculiar and differs from my own observations. I established my DVLA Driver and cars account a while back and effectively registered my two cars on it. One of the vehicles is listed on the V5C document with simply my first name and surname, while the second vehicle has my first name, middle name, and surname. Both my passport and driving licence have my first name, middle name, and surname.
  3. There has been some progress made. The reason for the poor drivability at low speeds is likely the presence of quite big gaps in the VE values, namely at 27, 35, and then back to 30 along the 27kpa axis. Those increases range from around 15% to 25% in proportion.
  4. I would want to address the issue that they lack personnel that are trained alongside the dealer. Adhering to the warranty requires servicing the vehicle at an authorised dealership. If the dealership is unable to do the service, an alternative arrangement must be made. Consider this scenario: a panel develops rust and Kia refuses to cover the repair, just because it was not inspected, even though it had been marked as dealer maintained.
  5. There is surface corrosion on many brackets located under the bonnet of my 71 plate Ceed. While I wouldn't say I'm very concerned, the situation does not seem favourable.
  6. When importers bring in Japanese cars, they typically do not modify the dash or clocks. Instead, they install aftermarket heads-up displays (HUDs). I suggest looking into a similar option. Personally, I have a HUD on my M4, and while I could manage without it, I find that when it is in "M" display mode, resembling a jet fighter layout, it can be distracting when making right turns, especially in tight corners or on streets. It creates the illusion that there is an obstruction present.Although it may seem unusual, it is visually attention-grabbing. However, it seems typical when seen under regular circumstances.
  7. Is that true? I find it intriguing that you are also seeking a vehicle equipped with S-tronic, just like me. That is unfortunate. Valuable information indeed, I am now aware of their nonexistence. Appreciation is expressed for your kind gesture.
  8. Provide information about intake/filters and tunes. What are your recommendations and what do you advise against? Regarding brands and other such factors. Furthermore, do these products possess sufficient value or not? I usually refrain from modding, but I am just interested. Thank you.
  9. Choose the AWD version of the r8. That is the reason why one purchases a R8 for its all-wheel drive (AWD) system. If you prefer not to have all-wheel drive, consider purchasing a GT3 or a Ferrari, among other options.
  10. I am experiencing the same issue. I had to use agricultural methods to deal with the severely corroded ones. Due to the deterioration of all four liners over time, I made the decision to replace them. Less costly than anticipated.
  11. If you want to replace it, I would consider examining the Gen 2 wheels. The current models have a more athletic and modern appearance, including a much reduced airbag/horn centre portion compared to the Gen 1. I have been examining many alternatives in a casual manner. It is likely that I will opt for the Gen 2 wheel update.
  12. If I am unable to resolve this issue, I may consider examining the Aucar or Acarnavi configuration. I have just returned a Kenwood and idata configuration that ensures my voice is audible while using CarPlay. If the RSNE were to function properly, I would want to retain it.
  13. I do not own an other iPhone inside the household to verify. Uncertain about my possession. Here is the numerical value.
  14. One may assume that if it were not, it would never be successful. The functionality is limited to a hard reset, after which the modules will enter a state of sleep. I just replaced an aftermarket radio since it was unable to transmit my voice via automobile playback while I was on the phone. I anticipated that this would be satisfactory, and it is so when it is functioning.
  15. After doing a search, I have come across other individuals that have the same issue as me, although there is no definitive solution. Each time the phone establishes a connection. BT is successfully linked to the DIS and functions well. Upon accessing the Tel feature on the device, I am informed that the telephone is now unavailable. However, I am able to respond to incoming calls on my phone, since the call is being sent over the radio. I have no control over any aspect of the device, and none of the comfort functions are functional during this period (such as the radio muting when it rings). If I do a hard reset, the device will go back to its previous state. Is there a software update available that might potentially resolve this issue? The BT module seems to be unable to complete synchronisation until I remove the phone and restart it, or do a hard reset on the RSNE. During this occurrence, the MMI or signal bars do not display the BT, unlike when it synchronises properly. The system will function well, and once I exit the vehicle and all the modules are inactive, it will go back to an inoperable state. Could somebody provide insight into the current situation?
  16. The only definitive method is to possess the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for both automobiles. Any other information will be just conjecture.
  17. To proceed, you will need replacement ECUs, fresh wiring, and maybe a fresh set of injectors. It is advisable to seek an engine that is compatible with the same model year. If we are able to assist, do provide us with your VIN. Sincerely
  18. To disable parking mode on my Nextbase dash cam, I need to access the settings.
