While the video's comparison of the three SUVs' performance in a "snow battle" is entertaining, it doesn't really add anything to the overall evaluation. Furthermore, a race on a level runway isn't very important. It's like those huge booming car ads that try to show people what their vehicle can do in the middle of a jungle or desert. Nice theatre, but impractical for most consumers. While a swerving test has its uses, I'd be more interested in seeing how these cars handled climbing and descending slopes, navigating snowy intersections, stopping and going in the city, driving through heavy snow, freeing an SUV stuck in the snow, and other similar situations. Their tests weren't clean, but it's wonderful to cheer for our beautiful CX-90 that we drive. Every one of the three SUVs had a distinct set of tires, as spirod noted (and brought up briefly in the video). Before the tests, the guy said that the tires on the CX-90 were "meatier" than those on the Palisade; I also noticed that he either ignored or downplayed the comments made concerning the tire difference, haha. According to certain customer reports, the Michelin CX90 tires perform better in the Winter/Snow category (which includes light snow, heavy snow, and ice traction), compared to the other set of Michelin tires. I don't understand. Again, a runway relay? It would have been more intriguing if the Palisade had the tires of the CX90 and still managed to perform significantly worse. Michelin Pilot tires on the Palisade also get a much lower treadwear rating. Vehicles appear to be registered rather than lent by dealers; I have no idea how many miles have previously been put on these tires, and the Palisade's tires have worse Winter ratings.

I seriously doubt that Mazda is interested in a snow performance comparison with their stock tires, particularly for their PHEVs. Since it would have been more practical to compete head-to-head, I assume that most snow drivers already own a good pair of snow tires anyhow (based on what I've read here and elsewhere).

The Miller's Ecomax Diesel that I use claims to clean injectors and increases the fuel's cetane rating to levels comparable to V-Power. For the last fifteen years or more, I've relied on it, and every time I switch cars, I notice an improvement in my gas mileage after the first few hundred miles.

Indeed, I am cognisant of that; I am merely attempting to ascertain the precise requirements. Visiting a wheel shop is a commendable suggestion; however, I am uncertain about the availability of such establishments in this area, as most have transitioned to online platforms.

My 2019 E400D does not come with any form of spare tyre or sealant. It is fitted with run-flat tires as standard. The vehicle is equipped with Eagle F1 MO tires, however they are not run-flat (RF) variants. The 19" space saver was obtained from a 2015 Audi A5. No original equipment wheel bolts; the current ones are excessively lengthy. The MSW/OZ 19-inch winter wheels and tires are sourced from a BMW 530 G30.

Is there no one who possesses this knowledge?

Greetings, I attempted to install a set of winter wheels on my 2019 W213 today and discovered that the original equipment wheel bolts are excessively lengthy. The wheels are OZ-MSW 5 x 112, 19x7.5, equipped with 245/45 R19 winter tires. I can either obtain spacers or acquire shorter wheel bolts. I believe I may possess a compatible component utilised on a 2002 Audi S3, M14 x 1.5, with a thread length of 30mm; however, I am uncertain whether it is ball or tapered. I suspect the wheels include a 60-degree taper, as they originated from an F30 BMW. Is there a straightforward method to verify this? I possess a steel space saver that likely requires shorter bolts; it was initially intended for a 2015 Audi A4. 1. Could someone verify if my OE wheels are ball or tapered? 2. Is there a swift and straightforward method to ascertain whether I require ball or tapered bolts for my MSW alloys? 3. Is there a swift and simple method to ascertain whether I require ball or tapered bolts for my Audi A4 space saver? Thank you

My Ceed operates solely on fuel. Vehicles registered in 2022 are available for purchase, but only petrol models; the status of diesel models remains uncertain.

I have detected similarities, however I noted that the headlights do alter when vehicles approach from the opposite direction. They appear to veer left (right-hand drive), similar to navigating a corner. The blue high beam indicator is illuminated continuously, creating the illusion of full beam activation. I have not consulted the dealer regarding this matter. In the manual, it is referred to as the AHS - Adaptive High-Beam System. It appears to be a "feature." The PS handbook indicates that this feature can be disabled by the dealer.

I had an acquaintance who experienced exactly identical problem. Ascertain whether the rear brakes are impeding movement by elevating the rear and attempting to rotate the wheels manually. If a wheel does not rotate freely or exhibits excessive tightness, the issue lies with the calliper, which requires either rebuilding or replacement. The phenomenon of its visibility solely in reverse occurs because reverse gear imposes greater strain on the powertrain, hence rendering the seized brake far more apparent. If the wheels rotate smoothly, it is likely that the gearbox and the reverse gear synchroniser or teeth are damaged, which is a regular issue with certain transmissions. Additionally, verify that the clutch is completely disengaging by attempting to shift into reverse without grinding while the vehicle is operational. Commence with the brakes, as they are more economical and simpler to inspect than disassembling the gearbox.

The rear windows of my Civic were tinted at the factory. I recently coordinated the front windows with the back windows. It may be unlawful, although you are unlikely to be apprehended by law enforcement for it. Light may effortlessly penetrate. Consulting a specialist typically results in the provision of a lifetime guarantee. They will reapply the colour at no charge under the lifetime warranty, even if a single bubble is present.

What does the new CX-30 warranty encompass?
Ken_Lion replied to diablos_carcv5's topic in General Car Chat
Affirmative! All new Mazda vehicles in the United States are accompanied by a 3-year/36,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty and a complimentary 3-year/unlimited mileage 24/7 roadside assistance package. Roadside help encompasses towing, jump-starts, tyre replacements and lockout services. -
Regrettably, it appears that all dealerships operate under the impression that they are providing a service to you.

I fitted a 12.3" aftermarket display from Aliexpress in my B8, significantly enhancing my experience with Android Auto. The Nunoo Factory Store received excellent reviews. My configuration included a 2G MMI High with a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and the new display continues to provide exceptional sound quality. The MMI High employs fibre optics for audio transmission, resulting in a significant enhancement.

All the LR space savers measure 18 inches. If you have encountered a 19", it is likely not an authentic LR component. The wheel diameter is irrelevant, as the appropriate tyre ensures the outer diameter remains consistent. Consequently, you may accommodate wheels ranging from 17" to 21" on your vehicle; the distinction lies in the tyres.

All are 18-inch; rim size is inconsequential. Examine various posts on this platform! The search button is a valuable tool.

I had Falken tires that were changed after less than 30 km of use. I am uncertain of the tread wear depth, however the wear bars were clearly visible. I have around the same km as you, and I too run throughout the winter. My Mazda dealer informed me that Mazda Canada approved new tires for another owner as well. You should request your dealer to consult Mazda Canada for warranty consideration, since they are cognisant of this issue and are amenable to assistance.

I assume you have installed the appropriate replacements that match the original specifications.

While PHEVs seem to be more susceptible to issues because to their intricate hybrid systems, MHEVs also encounter significant challenges. We regret to learn of any CX-90 experiencing persistent troubles and hope the dealerships can assist the owners effectively. Regardless, maintaining documentation and consulting a lawyer if required may be advisable.

Do you own a PHEV or MHEV?

Does anybody else feel that Sports+ mode is very sensitive, rendering the vehicle undrivable on uneven surfaces? Two roads later, upon exiting a junction, the road is somewhat undulating (not very bumpy), and as the vehicle traverses it in Sports+, it begins to exhibit a jackrabbit motion as my foot adjusts on the throttle owing to the car's movement, which is exacerbated by its responsiveness to the throttle alteration. I am gradually accelerating to 30, using a gentle and steady approach while attuning my ears to the engine's sound in Sports+ mode. An instance of the road's undulation resembles the A3 as one approaches Guildford from the M25, when it narrows to two lanes, which was particularly problematic the other night, although I was not in my A238. If you have traversed that area, you will get my meaning. There are no similar difficulties in other modes, just in Sports+. I have seen significant latency in Sports+ while demanding substantial throttle; the response seems delayed, followed by an unexpected explosion of power. A scenario may include overtaking on the highway at around 50 mph; you signal, maneuver into the next lane, and request acceleration, but experience a little delay before the vehicle accelerates rapidly to warp speed. Race mode is far more polished in all situations and responds precisely to your commands.
