That is a valid observation. I possess a similar mindset while evaluating automobiles for sale.

Our 18-year-old E90 320d successfully passed inspection three weeks ago. However, I consistently manage my responsibilities and do not procrastinate until the deadline, unlike other individuals. The 23-year-old X5 is next, although it passed last time with no advisories, so I remain hopeful for the outcome in around five weeks.

I appreciate your effort in installing the tire rack on the wall, although placing the security camera atop the tool cart is amusing.

The first consideration is that an element inside your intake system may not be properly seated or sealed, such as a twisted or broken rubber seal on one of the intake pipes that was disturbed during the procedure. I anticipate that the garage will first verify their work to ensure everything is correctly assembled, and ideally, it will be a simple resolution.

Reluctant to forfeit any money (Frugal individual from Yorkshire). What is the current price for a litre of LL-04?

Does anybody have experience with Petronas Syntium Oil? Particularly this material:- 5000 DM 5W-30 Fully Synthetic Motor Oil. Your thoughts and comments are highly encouraged, everyone.

A December update is often available. However, Kia seems to be more delayed with its launches. Have you attempted to increase the volume while using the quiet sources, since each has its unique volume settings? If unsuccessful, return to the dealer because it is a new vehicle and let them to resolve the issue.

automobile combustion involving the Porsche

I am very certain that will be a write-off. The expense of replacing the wire loom will be exorbitant. It is lamentable when a fine automobile of that vintage is sent to the great beyond. It may possess significant value in components, if their quality is assured. It may be prudent to negotiate a bargain and retain the salvage, provided you have the capacity to dismantle it. -
It is improbable to obtain it elsewhere unless you identify the manufacturer, or alternatively, you might detach the hose and consult a local hydraulic expert to see whether it can be fabricated for you.

Alex approached the task with a hint of irony and is not an off-road expert; he produced many films with this vehicle.

I own a 2015 SE-Navi Diesel, an exceptional vehicle. I have been fortunate to encounter no issues, save from a water leak in the roof, which is detailed elsewhere on this site. The vehicle has successfully passed every MOT without issue, currently displaying a mileage of 44,000. However, this year I received an advisory regarding the same problem you experienced. I plan to replace my car in the coming months, which means the issue will be inherited by the next owner. Regrettably, I believe Honda has faltered with their new car pricing and dealership availability, as two Honda dealers in my vicinity have closed, necessitating a 46 or 80-mile round trip to the nearest dealership. To a merchant. I have a test drive scheduled for the new 2024 Toyota C-HR on Friday, with the dealership only 3 miles away, and Toyota providing a warranty of up to 10 years.

2023 XC60 Recharge T8 indicates disconnection

I often need to reboot the machine once or twice after an update. I get traffic conditions on the large display just during navigation or while in satellite view. -
Negative, only a drain stopper. Ensure that the filler plug may be undone prior to removing the drain stopper.

It is not uncommon for gearbox oil to remain unchanged or for the filter to be inaccessible without disassembly. If concerned, install a magnetic drain plug or affix a rare earth magnet to the drain plug, which will magnetise it, therefore attracting swarf and tiny metal particles as they accumulate in the gearbox sump.

Thank you for providing clarification. Has anybody installed a trickle charger?

Does the automobile charge the little 12v battery when it is plugged in for charging?

I encountered a comparable problem with a different car (not a KIA), wherein a minuscule moth had made itself at home in the cabin and enjoyed flying around during the night, triggering the internal sensors on most evenings. It took more than a week to locate the insect, and I had to resort to using insecticide in the cabin and then securing the car to resolve the issue (although I acknowledge that this method was not animal-friendly, as I was unable to capture the creature). Worth trying if you understand what I mean 🙂 -
I successfully installed the Curt hitch independently, but had difficulty when it came to aligning the hitch for the side bolts. I used a footstool to provide support to the farthest extremity. This elevated the hitch while reducing its angle if it had been positioned on the ground. I managed to initiate the insertion of the first side bolt, however it proved challenging to commence owing to the friction caused by the hitch's mounting hole. Subsequently, I applied force to the other end of the object, similar to how I did with the first one, successfully securing the bolt in place. The most cumbersome task was the process of polishing the intermediate holes on the frame in order to install the components. I suggest using a double-cut straight shank burr bit. Double-cut bits have a higher cutting speed and provide a much smoother result compared to single-cut bits. Additionally, use your drill at its maximum rotational speed. Low revolutions per minute (rpm) will cause the drill bit to skip and produce a chattering sound. I recommend having an 11/16 socket with a deep design available, since the bolts protrude too far for a standard socket to access the nuts. This may need a visit to Home Depot throughout the process. In general, the installation process was successful and I am satisfied with how well everything fits and appears. The tolerances set by Curt are precise.

I am postponing the purchase of the $2150 factory tow kit (including parts and labour costs in California) until we have a genuine need for it in order to tow. Meanwhile, I will be installing a Curt hitch from e-trailer.com for my bike rack that will be installed on the hitch. Are there any complications or problems associated with doing this task? Will it interfere with the installation of the original one in the future?

Is it time to replace the engine mount?
Black_raven replied to WolfieBase's topic in General Car Chat
Yes, please replace the 92,000-mile tires and also the gearbox.
