  1. Did you neglect to install a mechanical sleeve while doing the oil and pan procedure?
  2. I must admit that even the front seats are not very pleasant. At my current stature and sitting position, the prominent section is where my head sits. It is vexing that these sections do not possess the capability to tilt.
  3. There is a leak. If the CCV is obstructed, it has the potential to induce an uncontrolled acceleration, ultimately. There are many possible causes, however as mentioned by @motorman3, it is also advisable to inspect the intercooler and turbo for any signs of damage or malfunction. The turbo oil seals on the oil supply line are a significant contributing factor as well.
  4. The next item to verify is as mentioned in my earlier article. 👍
  5. There is a potential that the loom and plugs are there, but you will need to reach the headlight loom from below to determine whether it is really there, maybe hidden in a concealed location. If the previous option is not successful, the alternative is to install new wires from the switch, passing them through a relay, and finally connecting them to the fog lights that you want to install.
  6. The optimal course of action is to ensure that the item in question will indeed be compatible.
  7. I believe the housing exhibited subtle variations, since when transitioning in the other direction, a whole unit was provided for replacement.
  8. To be honest, my C55 also bears identical scratch marks. It seems that one of its several prior owners was either a woman or a person involved in the business of prostitution.
  9. Instruct her to rotate the ring so that the stone is oriented towards the inside. Similar to her behaviour when she goes out in the city centre with her female companions.
  10. I concur. Here is a picture of mine when it is turned off. The driver's wiper blade comes quite close to touching the plastic trim located at the bottom of the windscreen. The picture provided by the original poster shows a far greater height.
  11. The feature works well on my 2022 gen5 Sporty. However, caution must be used since I inadvertently caused both front windows to lower by about one cm when using the lock/unlock button. I failed to observe the situation, and due to the strong gusts of wind we had a fortnight ago, it repeatedly triggered the alarm. It took me some time to discover that the windows were open.
  12. Best wishes in your pursuit. I visited Saltash last week.
  13. My remote parking feature is difficult to use, and recently, while attempting to demonstrate it, the vehicle moved forward but completely refused to drive in reverse. It is very remarkable when the device works properly, however. 😉
  14. If the manufacturer installed it, then it will not cause any accelerated wear on the components, especially considering the 7-year guarantee. The primary focus is on reducing emissions.
  15. Thank you for the timely response. I examined the accessories available for the XCeed and discovered a boot liner specifically designed for the new vehicle.
  16. That is a significant undertaking.
  17. Why not go for a direct pipeline instead?
  18. At the age of 60, very few people discuss the topic of reaching the age of 200.
  19. Additionally, there is a "boost" switch located near the end of the pedal's range of motion.
  20. Slow may be subjective, since what may be considered slow for one person may be considered quick for another. Undoubtedly, it is not a Porsche. However, my situation is currently satisfactory.
  21. The issue is with the rubber grommet that secures the bonnet cable as it passes through the bulkhead. The object becomes distorted and finally develops significant leaks. I attached a long and slender tube to the nozzle of a sealant gun and meticulously filled it completely with sealant. (without the need for disassembling the fusebox or any other components). Indeed, the sealant will solidify and maybe shift its position. I have completed it on two occasions. The issue has been resolved. I have never had any water infiltration again. A friend who has his own automotive repair business briefly examined it and advised me on what actions to take.
  22. Currently occupied with work, but will have an opportunity to go into this at a later time. Does anybody have information on the WIS paper that provides instructions for removing the ECU fusebox located next to the master brake cylinder? I am able to locate the removal procedures for all other modules except for this particular one. 😞
