  1. However, the number of wires on the connector of the S5 is equivalent to that of the plug on the R8. If your suggestion is accurate, it is expected that the S5 plug would be connected to another cable.
  2. The thickness of the wires on the heater for the S5 is not comparable to that of the ground and power cables on the R8. There are three cables of equal thickness, and one cable that is much thinner, similar to the thickness of a canbus cable.
  3. Thank you, however I have already reviewed it and regrettably, it is not applicable. The information I want pertains only to the S5 seats. I possess the information on the R8 originals.
  4. Greetings, everyone! I just acquired a set of B9 S5 Super Sports chairs at a reasonable price. These seats, similar to the Mk3 TT seats, are completely motorised and have bolster and lumbar adjustment, as well as massage and heating controls. I am attempting to decipher the wiring in order to make alterations to the wires that connect to the outdated connections. There is a total of four connections. The power adjustment feature, specifically available on the R8 comfort seats, is labelled as RED. GREEN: Functions of seat heating BLACK: Unidentified (Wiring for seat belt connector)? YELLOW: Airbag The S5 chairs are intricate and equipped with a dedicated controller unit that necessitates CAN and LIN connections. This controller unit is responsible for controlling the lumbar, bolster, and massage functions. Based on my current understanding, the power, airbag, and heating systems are functioning well. However, the vehicle does not have an MMI interface to regulate massages. However, it is feasible to change the bolster and/or lumbar by connecting a LIN bus to the controller unit. There is conflicting information about this matter, with reports indicating that the bolsters are effective in the driver seat but not in the lumbar region. Currently, if I am able to establish a functional electricity and heating system, any other things are considered advantageous. I am now in the process of organising and doing testing on the wire components prior to investing on their appropriate trimming for permanent integration into my vehicle. I am experiencing some perplexity over the heating (GREEN) connection and am curious if anybody has conducted a comparable refit that might provide assistance. The wiring for the R8 seems to be as follows: A wiring diagram for the S5 seat heating is shown below: A 550.5 KB file hosted on MEGA. And now, let's address the topic of R8 seat heating: MEGA file size: 110.5 KB We would much appreciate any assistance.
  5. The CX-30 lacks a cubby hole charging feature, unlike the phone alternative. The USB connector through which I connect my iPod is located in the cubby, next to the SD card slot used for navigation purposes.
  6. I own a vintage iPod, consisting of two distinct models, with one being older than the other. Both lack Bluetooth. I connect any of them to the USB connection on the console and they function well. I just need to choose them as options, same to how you would pick Sirius/XM, Pandora, or my Bluetooth iPhone. Nevertheless, subsequent to the adoption of a wireless vehicle Play adapter, I only use the vehicle play feature to stream my music from my iPhone.
  7. The amount of money is exorbitant, indicating that train rates vary significantly depending on the source of purchase. I have made a trial reservation on the National Rail website, and the fare for a round trip from Mill Hill Broadway to Birmingham New Street is £75.40. I received a quotation for a trip from Guildford to Birmingham New Street on Saturday.
  8. Thank you for the feedback. I am fond of the appearance and hue of carbon, but I am not interested in imitating it with a wrap. Therefore, I am searching for a colour tone that is potentially close.
  9. I am interested in altering the colour of my side blade using a wrap. Therefore, I would really appreciate the opportunity to see your Daytona Grey R8s with other side blade colours in order to get ideas and inspiration. Here is a current photograph of my automobile for your reference.
  10. It seems like a gasoline-related issue. I suggest having them connect a pressure gauge to the fuel line to monitor the pressure while the engine runs at various RPMs.

  15. Fellow Enthusiasts of the Miata Prior to embarking on a comprehensive test drive of Miatas spanning many generations, it is essential to ascertain the manufacturing year that would best accommodate my physical dimensions. I possess a height of 6 feet and 1 inch, accompanied by legs of normal length. I have seen several responses about this matter; thus, I am seeking guidance from the most reliable source. Thank you for your response.
  16. Apologies, I misunderstood the intended meaning of your statement. In Germany, there are significant theological conflicts pertaining to the matter of manufacturing. Mazda has garnered a dedicated and enthusiastic following in this particular region, whereby any kind of criticism is promptly disregarded. In some instances, allegations have surfaced suggesting that the German automotive maker is receiving financial compensation in exchange for expressing critical viewpoints towards bad remarks.
  17. The air conditioning unit at my residence operates continuously. While it is possible to engage in jest, it may be bothersome to contend with the issue of foggy windows for a significant portion of the year. This evokes a sense of nostalgia reminiscent of the 1980s.
  18. There is a possibility that it might be effective.
  19. The keys are incompatible with the cup holders. Are you employed as a prison warden or in a similar capacity?
  20. Regrettably, an effective solution for this issue has not yet been developed. However, it is evident that the automobile is in dire need of such a solution, since even a brief exposure to moderate rain for a duration of twenty minutes results in the tailgate being covered.
