DenishP4
I just acquired a 2023 CX-30 automobile and then purchased a Sandisk Pro flash drive for $50 to store and play mp3 files. Upon connecting the device to both USB ports, an error message indicating "unsupported" was shown. USB 3.0 is capable of functioning in a reverse-compatible manner with USB 2.0, should such a situation arise. However, it is unlikely for a new automobile to be equipped with USB 2.0 technology. Nevertheless, even if it were, USB 3.0 would still be able to accommodate it. What is the potential explanation for this phenomenon?
honeycut_mazda5
What was the method used to format the USB stick? If the file system is NTFS, it will not be compatible with the CX30 for playback. It is recommended that the flash drive be formatted using the FAT32 file system. Additional information on this topic may be found inside the thread, which could have been accessed by a search of the forum. Wishing you the best of luck! blueWING007
Please ensure that the USB drive is formatted exclusively for the FAT32 file system if it is intended for use in a car. Additionally, if the number of songs exceeds 250, it is advisable to create separate folders, each containing a maximum of 250 songs. Failure to do so may result in the system being unable to detect songs beyond the first 250 in each folder. Similarly, the same was seen on my 2020 Toyota vehicle. DenishP4
It was necessary for me to use third-party software. Windows 7 does not support the FAT32 file system for storage devices with a capacity above 32 gigabytes. Thank you for your response. KWILB
Windows 7, a software system of historical significance... Microsoft has ceased providing support for Windows 7 for a period of around 3 to 4 years.
DenishP4
I adhere to traditional methods and practises. I have chosen to continue using a familiar item, although I anticipate the need to get a new laptop in the near future. Currently, the task of acquiring knowledge on various automotive technologies, settings, and buttons might be seen as overwhelming.
xsports
The support for Windows 7 ceased in January 2020. This implies the absence of security upgrades, so making the identification of those who possess access to one's data uncertain. It is recommended to proceed with the upgrade to Windows 10 since it currently represents the most dated Windows version that is still receiving support. However, it is important to note that this support will only be available until October 2025. Staying updated with this subject matter is essential, unless one intends to sever its connection to the Internet.
DenishP4
Regarding the inquiry about USB connectivity, it is vital to ascertain if the new Galaxy phone can be successfully linked to the car's USB port and a 12-volt charger equipped with a USB interface, without necessitating any supplementary configuration. DenishP4
I am currently unfamiliar with the functionality of Android Auto and would need to acquire knowledge on the subject. However, the dealer informed me that by connecting the phone to the USB port, it would eliminate the need for constant interaction with the phone's screen, which may be very distracting when operating a vehicle. The primary focus will be on the automobile's dashboard display. Furthermore, she expresses a desire to use Spotify, hence necessitating compatibility with the prominent knob and display, so eliminating the need to visually engage with her mobile device. DenishP4
I have just begun my exploration of Android and am now in the process of familiarising myself with the necessary steps for setting up the platform. The statement indicated that some elements need setup. In addition, the Galaxy smartphone is equipped with Bixby, a voice assistant that offers a potentially more user-friendly interface for executing fundamental phone functions like as making phone calls. The potential for collaboration between these entities exists, and the decision of which one to use for a given job depends on the method employed to activate them. Will she be provided with the opportunity to choose between the two options based on the nature of the work at hand? There have been claims that Bixby routines are incompatible with the Android operating system. I am inclined to mostly use the Android operating system. There is a considerable amount of knowledge to acquire, which is why I prefer to adhere to traditional educational methods.
migueldosantos77
I was surprised to see that CD Players had become obsolete. Over the course of many years, I have dedicated much effort to substituting my vinyl collection with compact discs.I am now engaged in the practise of playing records at home using my old Pioneer system. However, I am contemplating the acquisition of a plug-in CD player due to the substantial number of CDs in my possession, totaling over 600. After doing more study, I have made the decision to transfer albums into 32GB flash devices that are formatted in the FAT32 file system. I organise my laptop's files by creating a dedicated folder for each artist, inside which I make sub-folders for each album. I use the legacy Windows 10 media player to convert and save the audio files in the FLAC format. The flash drive has a large storage capacity for music files. I establish a connection between my mobile device and my CX30 vehicle, use voice-activated instructions to navigate and pick audio content. colinallcars
I own a collection of more than one thousand songs stored on my 32-gigabyte thumb drive, with plenty remaining storage capacity available.
