  2. Have you consulted your owner's handbook? The most popular oil for BMWs is 5w-30 LL-04. Hopefully, it will tell you that. Do not employ AI for critical choices (or anything else, really) under any circumstances; doing so will render your guarantee null and useless.
  3. Hi there! My 2020 BMW X3 xDrive30e Hybrid (VIN: WBATS110709D47624) has 130,000 km on the odometer and needs an oil change. The issue is that I am confused and can't decide. There is a lot of disagreement online, and when I attempted to utilise AI to help me decide between the two oils, it offered me conflicting advice: Choose between 1000 millilitres of BMW TwinPower Turbo LL-17 FE+ 0W-20 Engine Oil and 5W-30 LL-04 Engine Oil, both made by BMW.

  5. I changed my previous post from 900 to 99 since, although the 900 could be the more palatable ordinary classic, the 99 was the original from the niche (and turbo laaaaaaaaaag).
  6. I've searched high and low for a 5 door 900 turbo, but there isn't a single one that is in decent condition. I was overly enthusiastic when I was younger, and there wasn't enough support to perform a complete "Ford" type restoration. There are a lot of convertibles out there, but they don't represent the car's true essence.
  7. The 99 turbo is quickly becoming a classic.
  8. What does its worth even mean?
  9. Eventually, we shall be. This stuff takes forever.
  10. That works out to around £12,000 for a vehicle. We are not discussing timeless masterpieces!

  13. This feature is something I have never utilised before. When I visit Home Depot later today, I will give it a go and let you know how it goes.
  14. I noticed that mine was acting similarly. At the front of the SUV, you'll find the locking mechanism. And singing as I sat in the rear. It has ceased to function. I am the sole user who has access to the settings, and no one else has changed them. I have activated the walk away lock. I step out and gently make my way away, but it has no effect.
  15. He raises some really valid issues, in my opinion. Unusual occurrences occur whenever my wife is a passenger, as far as I can tell. Even though her phone isn't even connected to the CX-90, the car will sync with hers if she gets in first. I even removed her phone from the device in an attempt to resolve this issue, but it still syncs with hers first. Everything runs like clockwork when it's just the two of us in the car.
  16. You might be wrong if you assume it's completely random. Assuming the following conditions are met: Unless the passenger possesses the key fob, the walk away feature will not activate if a passenger exits and closes the door 'After' the driver closes the door and walks out of range. If I go around the back of the car to the passenger side, open and close the door, and listen closely, I can hear the arming chirp. However, you are unable to move around the vehicle before being asked to walk away. The tailboard won't close until the key fob holder is no longer within range, at which point the walk away feature won't work.
  17. I feel much better now. Oh, my!
  18. On April 20th, I purchased a 2026 CX90. As soon as I step away from the door, it refuses to lock. In addition, the option to "walk away" is enabled. It does this without warning. The key fob's battery needed changing. Do you have any suggestions?
  19. You make a valid point. An image can serve as a useful memento at any time 👌
  20. When you replace the cap's large o ring, be careful to place it in the correct groove.
  21. It is much appreciated that you gave me the heads-up.
  22. Almost all of the oil will stay in the filter and very little will spill. Gather a lot of paper towels and scatter them around the house.

  24. Yesterday, I changed the oil on my W203 diesel engine because it was an emergency. Though I do have a replacement filter, I was unable to install it since I was missing the tool necessary to do so. The tool will be mine tomorrow. The oil filter is conveniently located on top of the engine, towards the front, making it easy to access. Outside of the old oil filter, does anyone have any idea how much engine oil could be dripping from the engine? I have no plans to change the oil at this time because there are less than 200 miles on the new oil. Much obliged for the advice given; best regards

  26. I bet that software was from a long time ago! So long as you don't have to pay for cable, I'm happy for you.
  27. I appreciate everyone's responses. The "Auto Standby" wasn't shown when I searched for it. After I updated the app since I saw it needed it, this option showed up! Everything looks to be going smoothly now that I've configured it. Much obliged.
