Good day, everyone. Acquired this 2004 E60 featuring the 530i engine and 6HP19 transmission. Since acquiring it, I have experienced troubles that suggest the gears are slipping. I initially performed a service with new fluid, a pan, and a filter, which improved the situation significantly, however the issue persisted. Since last night, I have changed the four mechatronic sleeves, the double square seal, and the larger round seal. It has significantly improved, however it still occurs periodically; I am uncertain on what to examine or the subsequent steps to take. It occurs only once the automobile, engine, and gearbox have reached operating temperature. Attached is a YouTube video.

I empathise with your situation with your father; I had a similar loss a few years before. Dementia is a dreadful condition. I would investigate for an air leak.

I use a 32GB USB drive configured to play randomly, allowing me to listen to any of over 8000 songs.

Indeed, it may be used in a conventional manner. Merely the irritating alert on the cluster.

A persistent warning will be shown on the cluster if the airbag system is disabled. It may be implemented using, for instance, NCS.

In what year was your automobile manufactured? Upon entering a 2009 registration, Eurocarparts indicates that part 413110180 is incompatible. -

It may be a generic image and resemble this less expensive option available on Amazon. -
It is not an attitude; he is only expressing honesty. MB's AdBlue system is often malfunctioning, costly to troubleshoot, and often irreparable. In the event of a failure of the AdBlue level sensor, your vehicle will cease operation. Upon transport to the dealership via a low loader, you will be informed that the AdBlue level sensor is only available as part of the complete AdBlue tank, which costs over a thousand dollars for the component alone. Additionally, inexplicably, there are costly NOx sensors that must also be replaced concurrently, along with various other components of the AdBlue system. £3,000 to £6,000 is not implausible. It is a subpar system. I apologise for the reaction, but rf065 was only being honest.

Should I use an OEM or aftermarket O2 sensor?

If the malfunctioning sensors were from one of the aforementioned excellent brands, then oil burning is likely responsible for their early failure. -

Excellent exposition on your new vehicle; I hope you have as much pleasure from it as you did from the last one. I am contemplating a change myself, but I believe I will retain mine until it becomes very expensive to maintain. Thus far, everything is ok. 🙂 -

I believe the unfulfilled services will place you in a difficult situation and provide them with a convenient excuse. Johnny Rooer is well regarded and may be able to reconstruct your engine at a far lower cost than your current estimates. I am certain he will provide feedback shortly. Salutations -
Resonance in my G31 | 520d | 31,000 miles

I had a like incident with my own. Ultimately identified as a bearing. Front right in my situation. The noise was incessant and varied in tone according to pace. However, it remains consistent at around 40 mph. It was first diagnosed. Unless you are doing the procedure yourself, I recommend obtaining a diagnosis beforehand. You should avoid altering unnecessary components. This is only my experience; do not see it as definitive, nor presume that my issues will mirror yours. -

What is the current status of my warning lights?
nickoyster4 replied to nickoyster4's topic in General Car Chat
The vehicle in question is a 2012 BMW 320d with a 2-liter engine. It is amusing that you bring up the batteries. I have observed that my auto stop-start feature sometimes activates itself in traffic when I have used any electrical components such as lights or music. My son has suggested that this behaviour may be indicative of a battery problem, which I was unaware might also impact the warning lights. Thank you for your contribution. -
A warning light indicating a "reverse light fail" appeared on my dashboard. Although I had the bulbs replaced, the caution indicator persisted. Eventually, I saw two warning indicators: one for the fog lights and another for the reverse lights. Subsequently, all of these warning lights ceased to illuminate, but a new caution light indicating a problem with my dipped beam appeared. All of the lights are functioning properly and changing the bulbs has no effect. Currently, I am experiencing a frustrating situation where I have to anticipate which caution light will illuminate when I begin the engine. It is rather exasperating, to say the least! Does anybody possess any suggestions on how to rectify the issue?

Based on the appearance, it seems that the rivets have failed. In the past, I have seen that they are often soldered in place instead of removing the gearbox to replace the flywheel. -

You must upload the content to a platform such as YouTube and provide a hyperlink. The failure of a starter is not a catastrophic event. I managed to get a well-functioning, pre-owned starter for a mere £30 earlier this week. -

A temperature controller (TC) is not necessary, and it is uncertain whether a starter is required. Have they confirmed that it is in a damaged condition? If you have a record of the chain's history, there is no need to consider it while the flywheel is being completed. -

The flywheel in an automobile is equipped with a ring gear, and it is secured to the torque converter using four bolt holes. It is really odd that it suddenly stopped working, especially if it was functioning well before it went into the garage. Do not buy this flywheel since it is intended for early 5 series cars and may not be compatible. I have provided a link to visually demonstrate its appearance. -
