  1. Are you aware of any reputable establishments that offer these for sale? Aside from the inferior products available on Amazon?
  2. Greetings, Everyone, Seeking to enhance the inside illumination of my just acquired S211 E280. However, when I install LED lights, they illuminate for three seconds before turning off. Has anybody undertaken this update and encountered this issue? How can I circumvent this? Thank you.
  3. The original post states that replacing the ATF fluid and filter has not ameliorated the condition. The date of the change was not specified; however, given that it was executed in an attempt to resolve the problem, I infer that it occurred at the recent conclusion of the gearbox oil and filter service period. Nonetheless, Op, might it be that the fill level is inaccurate? This is not a critique; I am only attempting to identify the straightforward and cost-effective solutions first.
  4. Indeed, mine is a 7G+, however it was produced within a brief period prior to the introduction of start-stop technology. It is regrettable!
  5. My 2011 E350CDI with a 7G gearbox has a little roughness while shifting from 2nd to 1st gear when cold. Replacing the engine mounts and gearbox mount has, if anything, intensified that specific characteristic. However, all other shifting characteristics have been smoother and quieter after the mounts were altered.
  6. I apologise for my lack of expertise on Vitos; but, I believe that presenting a picture of the desired part at a dealership, or preferably bringing your car, would enable the parts specialist to identify the component and provide a pricing estimate. If the component is shown separately on the schematic, they should be able to get it. I would not anticipate such a little plastic part would be exorbitantly priced, but do enquire about the cost beforehand. It may be prudent to purchase two, ensuring you own a spare should the new one malfunction at any time. Nonetheless, in the illustration, the piece labelled 143 has the part number A0002620032; this should enough for ordering.
  7. Perhaps this page from the second catalogue I shared above is more beneficial? However, I am uncertain about the specific car you own. Every minute component is enumerated, thus should be accessible, and I believe that little plastic component should not be too expensive. By visiting a dealership and providing your VIN number along with the aforementioned photograph to the parts counter, the parts specialist should be able to identify the component and provide you with a pricing. The dealerships often provide lower prices for several components compared to certain other sources. https://mb-teilekatalog.info/view_SubGroupAction.php?lang=E&mode=BM&class=3&aggtyp=FG&catalog=50M &model=638164&group=26&subgrp=090
  8. Based on the illustration, I believe it corresponds to the item designated as 119, which, when scrolling down the list, is described as a 'shifting dog components kit' with the Mercedes-Benz part number A 000 260 01 35. Kindly note that this is only a Vito selected arbitrarily from the list; you must choose your own car to get the accurate component number for your own vehicle. An option to input your VIN number is available on the first screen, which will then route you accordingly. You may thereafter adhere to the procedures to locate the required component. Utilising the Mercedes-Benz part number, you may get the component from any authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership. Several individuals operate online stores on eBay, and you may reach out to them with the component number to get a pricing. I trust this information is beneficial.
  9. I selected one of the Vito models; it may not be the same as the one you own. Select 'transmission' to access this page. https://webautocats.com/epc/mercedes/3/fg/638094/50n/26/
  10. This article pertains to the 638 series, as shown in the first link above. I am not quite familiar with your automobile. https://webautocats.com/epc/mercedes/3/638/

  16. Affirmative. Following the 2016 ISH, mb will not provide any cloning software until modifications are made. 2. It depends on what was required; some services need additional goods. Similar to air filters, fuel filters, and brake fluid, if you want to adhere to the MB ESS. 3. Halfords, etc.
  17. Greetings. Has anybody successfully restored the mirror chrome gloss on a CLS Panamera grille?
  18. My vehicle is scheduled in at the merc experts next Monday and they’ve said they don’t want to terrify me but they had a girl in lately and it cost her £3000 as they replaced EGR, cooler and manifold… clearly my manifolds been updated. They stated the would strip everything down and see what’s wrong but he said they’d rather replace things that appear a little dodgey rather than me having to come back again with identical issue
  19. Thank you for your response. Another issue I failed to add before I had the intake manifold fixed one garage informed me I also had an egr code aswell. Not sure which code it was but I presume may have been the same
  20. Greetings, everyone. I need guidance on my 2015 Mercedes CLA 220d, which has 65,000 km. Three months ago, I had the intake manifold fixed at my local service. The day after it was replaced I had P0401 code pop up so went it straight back to the shop who stated it was probably due to not resetting the egr valve. They stated they reset the egr and erased the P0401 code. 500 miles later the code came back on so brought it back for additional testing. A smoke test was conducted along with a brief inspection of the visible hoover hoses. Everything seemed satisfactory, hence the code was reset once again. 700 miles later the code came back on and again was reset by the garage claiming they didn’t know what it might be. They stated they could replace specific items like egr etc but it would be guess work and a process of elimination. Basically I need to know Whether I can continue on driving it like this since it only comes on for like 20 miles a time every few hundred miles and also does anybody have any thoughts what it may be? I consulted my Mercedes expert, who indicated that they could need to disassemble the system, perhaps requiring the replacement of the EGR and cooler. My fear is that this might result in costs up to thousands. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
  21. Indeed, it is their intended purpose.
