What is the mileage of the vehicle? Is it possible for the torque converter (T/C) to malfunction when the automatic gearbox fluid (ATF) reaches high temperatures or for the lock-up clutch to slide when subjected to heavy loads? To resolve the issue, it is necessary to connect the device. I am aware that the MB IcarSoft 2 has the capability to monitor the functioning of the lock up clutch while the vehicle is in motion. What is the model of the C class car from 2002? Based on my deduction, it seems to be a 722.6 gearbox.

Have you conducted a voltage measurement on the rear consumer battery using a Voltmeter while the vehicle is in operation? The voltage reading should be within the range of 13 to 14.5 volts. Please ensure that the vehicle has been running for more than 5 minutes, since during this time the BCM directs power to the starting battery. A code reader can detect and display any error in the Body Control Module (BCM). If the automobile is not charging, potential causes include a malfunctioning alternator, a faulty battery, a stuck glovebox light leading to power depletion, or a malfunctioning BCM. If the battery is low, the central locking system may not function. An independent mechanic will diagnose error codes if you do not own an OBD code reader...

The product in question is a towbar for the S212 E500 model.

All the lights on my trailer board function correctly without any programming. However, I want to have it programmed correctly to enable features like as reversing sensors and the anti-sway program. Therefore, I will visit my nearby garage to enquire whether they can do the necessary coding. The wiring instructions provide fundamental guidance for the STAR/Xentry system. -

...and the CAN BUS wires were pre-terminated with the right terminals, allowing them to be easily inserted into the appropriate slots in the blue socket located on the rear of the fuse box. -

The wiring kit was equally impressive. It came with a fuse bank that takes up the last bank space on the fusebox (the blue one in the photo)... -

I installed a Westfalia removable tow bar over the weekend. I purchased it from PF Jones, along with a specialised wiring kit. I am quite delighted with the tow bar since it does not need any modifications to the bumper, is easy to install, and when the ball is removed and the socket is swivelled up behind the bumper, it remains entirely hidden until one physically lowers themselves to the ground. -

It is quite likely that you are correct. I am relying on my nearby, trustworthy automotive repair shop to do the task for me. They have a reputation for honesty and fair pricing, and their location is conveniently within walking distance from my residence. -

I apologise for making another attempt. I am familiar with the functioning of forums, where individuals with the necessary knowledge to answer a query may be found. However, it is contingent upon one's ability to capture their attention at a time when they are both available and willing to respond. Is Xentry the appropriate tool to program a towbar for an S212? -

Can someone confirm whether the Xentry system available at my local non-MB garage is capable of doing towbar coding? -

I examined many component schematics on the internet. There are two cooling fans available for the E500: A 204 500 02 93, which is specified as a 600W fan, and A 204 906 68 02, which does not have a specified power rating but has the same dimensions as the 600W version. For the smaller engine variant of the E-Class, there is a 400W fan (A 204 500 03 93) available, which is significantly shorter in size. Additionally, there is also a more powerful 600W version. Searching the component number (A 204 906 68 02) on Google indicates that it is likewise a fan with a power rating of 600W. While an internet parts diagram may not provide definitive evidence, it suggests that the E500 model probably came equipped with either of two 600W fans from the factory, and there doesn't seem to be a larger or smaller option available. Indeed, the presence of a 600W fan as a standard component implies that additional cooling may be required due to the V8 engine configuration. Is towing expected to need additional cooling? -
I am contemplating installing a towbar on an S212 E500 vehicle for the purpose of sometimes pulling a camping trailer or a very compact caravan. Installing the hardware and dedicated electrics seems to be a rather simple do-it-yourself task, however I have a few enquiries: 1) Programming the towbar to the car. Although my local garage is not specifically focused on Mercedes vehicles, they own a Xentry diagnostic system that is capable of connecting to the MB database. Will this be enough for accurately programming the towbar and updating the car's information with Mercedes, or is an other method required? 2) Fan for cooling purposes. According to my reading, a towbar that was installed at the factory would have come with an enhanced cooling fan. Is this applicable to the E500 model? It is possible that the V8 engine may already be equipped with a larger cooling fan. However, if the engine requires more cooling due to its V8 configuration, it may be necessary to install an even larger fan specifically for towing purposes. Does anybody have information on the dimensions of the E500 fan and the availability of a larger alternative? Does the improvement simply apply to the engine fan, or does the gearbox also need more cooling, which is facilitated by the same fan?

The mating surfaces of the disc and hub may not be thoroughly clean. Even a little amount of rust or scale caught between the brake pads may be amplified near the edge of the disc, resulting in vibrations when braking. Performing a surgical cleaning with a wire brush and sand flap wheel should resolve the issue. Another potential cause, particularly if you drive and stop with smooth and gentle movements, is the accumulation of resins and similar substances on the surfaces of the disc and brake pads. An Italian brake tune-up will effectively resolve the issue. *On a clear road, increase your speed to match the maximum allowed limit and then use the brakes forcefully a few times.

Is it time to replace the engine mount?

This is an older version from Alex on C55, which is likely to be fairly similar to yours. I did not remove the exhaust as he did, maybe due to the fact that his vehicle is left-hand drive. Due to a delay in obtaining the wrench extension within the specified time frame of 1 minute and 40 seconds, I took the initiative to fabricate one. It is worth noting that the task may still be accomplished without the wrench extension, particularly while working on an M113 in a C55. The video around 12:25 seconds displays the dancing mechanism both before and after. If you decide to do-it-yourself, the engine beam is the essential equipment you need. Exclusively use authentic Lemforder components. Best wishes. -

The amount of 92,000 dollars is likely to be over its due date. I purchased Lemforder parts for my vehicle, which are the same as those obtained from Mercedes-Benz. Various kinds of 'upgrades' are available, including non-oil filled 'polymer' options. Although I lack personal experience with these, it is important to note that the movement and vibration generated by the engine must be absorbed or redirected. In the case of solid mounts, it is likely that these forces will be transferred to the chassis. Simultaneously replace the gearbox mount. Based on anecdotal evidence, it is known that component numbers might vary for mounts that seem similar, perhaps due to the different viscosities of the oil contained therein. Uncertain 🤷♂️ -

What is the mileage on them? When were they most last altered? Is there any oil leakage? From my inexperienced perspective, it seems to be excessive. I already changed them on my C55 a while ago, and my engine does not exhibit such much movement. -
What is the reason for my automobile not having this?

It seems that vehicles manufactured from the 18 plate forward, including mine, do not have the touchpad. This removal is rather peculiar, and I am curious about the reasons behind it. -
What is the reason for my automobile not having this?

I own a 2018 C220d estate with AMG line specifications. I have seen that several automobiles of the same specifications and age include an additional component in the middle, which my car lacks. Do you have any suggestions or thoughts? -
I have successfully installed my original auxiliary battery, which is now completely charged. As a result, my A/C panel is now fully operational, including all capabilities such as heated screen, automatic temperature control, and high/low temperature settings. Does it assist you? I have not yet acquired the ECO in Green feature, which suggests that my primary battery, which I assume to be the original one, is the cause. However, you said that you have already changed that particular item. Therefore, I will proceed to charge it tonight to see whether it functions properly before considering the purchase of a new one. Attempt to recharge your auxiliary batteries, my friend, to see whether that resolves the issue. I purchased a C-Tek charger, which impressively took around 1 hour and 30 minutes to charge my device. However, it is possible that my satisfaction with this speed is due to my easily contented nature. I purchased an auxiliary battery from Mercs, which cost around £115. It takes about 5 minutes to complete and is a straightforward task.

If none of the controls, such as AC, heated screens, Auto, etc., illuminate upon starting the vehicle, and the ECO Stop/start feature is not functioning, what might be the issue? If my battery were not functioning properly today, I would inspect the compact battery located in the trunk or its respective location in your specific model. Last year, I had a similar situation, and after consulting this platform, it was determined that the auxiliary battery was the cause. I purchased one unit, installed it, and the control panel illuminated, resulting in the successful operation of the air conditioning system. I have retained my old battery and it is now being recharged. I will test it in the morning to see whether it is my issue and perhaps yours as well. If the battery is to blame, then my issue is in determining what is responsible for charging it. Wishing you the utmost success
