That is not the question I posed. -
Wheels from C43 installed on C220 4MATIC
BENZE220AMG replied to BENZE220AMG's topic in General Car Chat
I am uncertain if I will have any issues installing the new wheels with an ET33 offset. Will it adversely impact the 4MATIC, posing any hazards to it? Will it also impact the driving in any manner? I appreciate your assistance in advance. -

Greetings, I now own a 2018 W205 C220d 4MATIC. Purchased second-hand wheels from C43/450, which had the following dimensions: Front - 7.5Jx18 ET33 Rear - 8.5Jx18 ET49 The rears are OK, provided they fall within the manufacturer's specified range. I am perplexed by the fronts. The manufacturer specifies that the permissible offset range is between 42 and 46, however mine measures 33.

W204 Comand Satellite Navigation Update
BENZE220AMG replied to vitessear3's topic in General Car Chat
If your vehicle is the facelift W204, it will be equipped with COMAND Online NTG4.5. The pre-facelift model included NTG4, which had a big PCMCIA slot and a pop-up display. The most recent maps data is version 20.0. The map data may be downloaded at no cost from MB, thereafter transferred to a USB drive, and uploaded to the COMAND unit in the vehicle via the USB connector located inside the center armrest. However, it is a 50GB download, necessitating a robust Internet connection. You will thereafter be required to enter a PIN number, which is specific to your VIN; this PIN code may be acquired via MB dealers or other internet vendors. You may also get a copy of the maps data on a USB drive from them, should you choose not to download it for free at home. -
Components of the pattern will, naturally, be less expensive. Occasionally, it is advisable to incur additional costs when the component number is uncertain. I have used MB Newcastle and Edinburgh DIY components and have found them to be quite competitive.

Purchasing from Mercedes poses no difficulties. Components are often extremely cheap, and one cannot ascertain this unless an inquiry is made. 👍
-
Contact the parts department of your local Mercedes-Benz dealer using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). At the very least, you can be certain that they will provide the appropriate component. 👍

Purchased a coffee machine as a gift due to Mrs. Me's envy. However, the box was damaged and marked with permanent ink, rendering it unsuitable for presentation. The vendor faltered, and eBay issued a refund. No one has requested the £280 machine. Mrs. Me is indebted to me for a treat.
-
I examined it and was unable to comprehend how. However, when matters get convoluted, maybe because to my lack of proficiency with eBay, I tend to lose patience and revert to familiar tasks. Life is too brief if I cannot see a means of transcendence.

I see a fraudulent scheme by the purchaser. Insufficient time to unbox and evaluate. However, it explicitly states that I will not be receiving it back. It states that they have issued a reimbursement on my behalf, at no expense to me. I have initiated several returns over the years, and eBay remains uninvolved until the vendor fails to provide a refund. This is too rapid. Perhaps further clarity will emerge thereafter.

Ebay no longer imposes fees on sellers for listing advertisements; instead, they levy a nominal charge on buyers for protection services. The customer chooses their preferred courier; nonetheless, the seller remains accountable if issues arise, as has occurred with Evri in my previous experiences. A few days ago, I sent an electronic item. The buyer selected the most economical shipping option. It came today between 2:30 and 4:30. At 5:15, eBay informed me that they had resolved a return request for it. Since standard delivery was selected, I will not incur charges for the return, and I will not be getting the goods back. If I comprehend this accurately, the buyer now has the thing without charge, and eBay does not anticipate that I will make a payment, since the funds are presently accessible. It cannot be, or eBay has suddenly become a charity.

That is essentially my argument, however. The original poster has clearly stated their usage: 12-mile local trips and a 140-mile round journey monthly. It would be akin to stating that every four years one must retrieve a wardrobe from Ikea, hence necessitating the continual use of a huge estate vehicle or similar. In other words, if the original poster appreciates the EQA, a 35-minute charging duration at a potential fast charging station should not deter a purchase, in my humble opinion.
-
While it is reasonable, it is important to note that the MB specifications indicate that a 10-80% charge takes 35 minutes when using public quick charging; in my view, this is not a significant drawback, since most people will seldom depend on this option.
-
The original poster is considering a vehicle for 12-mile local excursions and, once monthly, a voyage of 140 miles. In my opinion, it is unnecessary to consider charging speeds as a criterion for the purchase in certain situations. In my opinion, EQA seems to be the most rational option for this kind of application.

In my experience, a surface charge, such as a brief excursion to Wayne Gates and back, seems to dissipate rapidly. I recommend completely charging the battery before assessing the voltage decline over time.

AGM or standard 12V charging mode?
BENZE220AMG replied to Needsnewtyres2's topic in General Car Chat
Acquire a Ctek MXS 5, and you may leave it connected indefinitely. My commitment lasts for six months at a time. The vehicle initiates on the first attempt. The following is a summary from Ctek. The MXS 5.0 is a sophisticated microprocessor-controlled battery charger that delivers unparalleled performance for lead-acid batteries ranging from 1.2 to 110Ah. It features integrated automatic temperature correction, guaranteeing optimal charging performance even under harsh conditions. The MXS 5.0 features battery diagnostics to determine the battery's ability to accept and hold a charge, a patented automatic desulphation program, an AGM option to enhance the performance lifespan of most Stop/Start batteries, and a specialised Recond mode for reconditioning severely discharged batteries. The MXS 5.0 employs CTEK’s proprietary float/pulse mechanism, recognised as the most effective maintenance mode for prolonged battery connection. -
You may contact Autoclass in MK. I have used them, and they seem satisfactory, however they are not the most economical option.

Utilised the same method, but with a little pad on the "da" polishing machine.

2007 W639 111 CDI crankshaft position fault code
BENZE220AMG replied to BENZE220AMG's topic in General Car Chat
Thank you for your assistance. The code appears intermittently, about three times so far, and the system is occasionally difficult to start, while at other times it functions as expected. I will seek an other sensor. Does anybody know whether a new sensor requires calibration with the ECM during adaptations? Is it a straightforward replacement? -
Good morning, everyone. Today's brief insight is as follows: Starting in chilly conditions throughout the morning may be problematic, frequently necessitating a jump start. When the engine does start, the malfunction indicator light activates, indicating an issue with the crankshaft. What may be the reason of the position sensor issue? It will commence and operate throughout the day as anticipated. Research indicates that slack in the timing chain may result in jitter, hence creating an inconsistent correlation between the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor.

Online Vehicle Inspections - Am I Expired?

Undoubtedly a fraudulent scheme; potential buyers need to do their own investigation.
