  1. If located under the hood, it may really be on the undertray. It must be removed to access it. I misplaced an Allen key and retrieved it six months later during maintenance.
  2. Kia does not produce O2 sensors. Opt for Bosch or NGK, and you will be assured of quality. They produce superior aftermarket electronics and sensors.
  3. I do not want to influence your selection, but I have a preference and one that I would not purchase.
  4. Also take the weather into account. If your region experiences extreme cold, you may want to research the authentic MPG range. If you are in California, what is the cost of electricity? I believe it is elevated there.
  5. I purchased the MHEV and have driven 21,000 miles without any significant problems. The six-cylinder turbo performs well, achieving around 30 MPG in my local driving conditions. I do not own the S model and operate on standard gasoline. If you can operate two variants that possess differing wheel sizes. The bigger wheels will exhibit more firmness, and preferences over which is superior are subjective. Dash remains silent on my situation.
  6. The BMW E90 petrol models lack dipsticks.
  7. I own a 2007 BMW E92 330i N53 with 92,000 kilometres. I have had the vehicle for one year, and it has been exceptional, except for the oil consumption (400 - 600 miles per litre of oil). The automobile was using 5W-30, which I have replaced with 5W-40 Liquid Moly. Three weeks ago, I replaced the oil level sensor since it indicated the need to add over 1 litre of oil one evening, but the following morning it displayed a full reading. I then connected my AUTEL, which indicated an issue about the oil level sensor. I modified it and reset the oil service interval, having also replaced the oil during that process. The vehicle would typically indicate oil use over 400 to 600 miles via the oil level in the iDrive CCC; but, with the replacement of the oil level sensor, the oil level has remained full after 250 miles, although it would normally have decreased by half by this point. I am concerned that the sensor may be defective or malfunctioning, perhaps leading to engine damage due to the inability to monitor the oil level accurately. The battery has been changed and programmed. Your assistance would be much appreciated! Thank you very much!
  8. Unfavourable news, radish. If deemed a loss, it is hoped that a substantial settlement would be provided.
  9. I achieved 35,000 miles on my front tires before their replacement.
  10. The valve body and mechatronics need repair. The solenoids may be defective, or the valves may be deteriorated, resulting in insufficient hydraulic pressure to engage the gears. The electronics may be defective. Early DSG/S-Tronic transmissions are subpar. Turning off the engine and then restarting it resets the transmission's electronics, prompting it to attempt functionality again. The problem you are encountering is the transmission's mechanism for mitigating damage, intended only to enable you to reach a secure area for repairs. In the USA, purchasing a brand new gearbox for around $7000 USD is more economical than hiring a professional for repairs. In nations with lower labour costs, one may locate professionals who repair and replace mechatronics.
  11. It is intriguing; why implement a filter in an inaccessible location? I will continue to replace the oil till it flows clean after one week. The vehicle operates seamlessly with each oil change, suggesting that the previous owner likely neglected this maintenance task. Thank you for your response.
  12. Greetings to everyone I have performed an oil change on my 2016 Evoque 2-liter automatic gearbox. The car has a mileage of just 38,521 kilometres. The gears were sometimes retaining too much tension. In the context of watching YouTube, I saw that no filter was updated, prompting my inquiry: Is there a filter that requires replacement? I am enquiring since the oil was dark when I discarded it. It operated for three days, after which the oil was drained again and remained equally dark. Should I continue flushing to get clean oil in the gearbox? I have heard that a gearbox pressure flush is possible, but according to my research, it may lead to complications. All comments are welcome.
  13. Fortunately, you do not reside in close proximity to me, as I would likely rectify the situation for you in a permanent manner. 🤣🤣
  14. There is no need to remove any bulbs. Activate the recording function on your phone's camera and see if the light ceases to emit illumination.
  15. As far as I know, it was included only with COMAND Online (NTG 5.5). The automobile I own from 2019, specifically the Premium model rather than the Premium Plus model, is equipped with a touchpad.
  16. Either replace the sealing washers or opt for a more comprehensive solution by replacing the whole valve. In my experience, the task of removing the tires and the TPMS, as well as asking a fitter to just change the washers, is likely beyond their capabilities. I want the ability to install tires at my residence. Acquiring a collection of valves does not need a large amount of money; just ensure that you get the valves with the appropriate frequency.
  17. A single run flat tire would not impact the performance of the other tires. It is advisable to have tires that match on each axle. If the sensors are still displaying pressure readings, it seems improbable that they are losing air, given their relatively recent age. The valves are equipped with replaceable sealing washers. Have you seen any decrease in air pressure in the other tires? Prior to doing any maintenance on your vehicle, it is essential for a tire shop to enquire with you. It is advisable to avoid tracking until you see uneven tire wear.

  19. I highly recommend using VCDS from Ross-Tech.
  20. To identify any problems in the car's Electronic Control Units (ECUs), you will need to use VCDS or a comparable diagnostic equipment. Speculation will not assist you.
  21. The leakage of mine began at around 50,000 units. I eliminated them and opted for KW with a cancellation kit.
  22. I had two 405 saloons, which may be described as go-karts that go exactly where you steer them, with the odd lifting of the inner rear tyre during playful cornering.
  23. I did not do any formal testing on the Excel's handling. Instead, I just drove it home to see if it could fit into the garage, which it successfully did. I found the 1.8 hybrid to be too loud and lacking in energy, hence I decided to get a 2 litre hybrid instead. The C-HR has remarkable agility, mostly down to the utilisation of the TNGA platform and the exceptional rear suspension. Consequently, it demonstrates superb handling capabilities, comparable to those of a Peugeot 405.
