Is this just a CX90 with the back seats removed?
KOOLCAR replied to rab60bit88's topic in General Car Chat
The 3rd row is OK to me. I enjoy most of the little adjustments made to separate the CX-70 from the CX-90. I am undecided about the black fender flares. I like the grill, black trim, and additional storage spaces in the back. Although I am not like of the enormous size, it may be practical if my wife and I decide to put two bikes in the back. It seems like they could fit even with the rear seats up -

KOOLCAR replied to rab60bit88's topic in General Car Chat
Agreed. I will likely still contemplate the CX-70. I would choose a CX-60 over it. I have not yet seen a CX-70 with a light-colored inside, and if it is not available, it would be a deal-breaker for me. One reason I won't purchase a CX-5 is because in the USA, they only have dark inside colours on turbo levels. -
The charger for my iPod 10 is not functioning properly.

WhisperingWillow I have separated this into a separate subject and pinned it because I believe we will hear more about it in the future. Thank you for sharing that. -
I only recharge my battery to 80% after each trip. A little recharge has a lesser detrimental impact on a battery. Ideally, I want to discharge the battery to a level between 25% and 60% before recharging. It not only reduces charging time but also enhances the battery's ability to minimise range loss over time.

There is no need for coding in this context. The individual only requires the process of fault memory erasure. -
Are there any issues associated with the 3.3-liter petrol engine?

The guarantee provided is not extended to all individuals for a duration of six years, but rather limited to a period of three years specifically inside the United Kingdom. -
It is regrettable that you encountered several difficulties that ultimately led to your decision to pursue an alternative vehicle. Upon seeing distressing information, I had a heightened sense of fear and subsequently engaged in an investigative process to explore other automobile options. Nevertheless, throughout a span of eight months of possession and having driven a distance of 12,000 km, I have not encountered any technical malfunctions or issues. Additionally, I get great satisfaction from operating the vehicle, whether it be on highways or on curving routes. I adhere to a strict charging routine, resulting in almost achieving the promised range and generating around €300 in monthly savings on fuel expenses. I made the decision to get pleasure from the automobile at now. The Kuga has been available on the market for a considerable period of time, suggesting that there is a higher likelihood of any potential faults having been resolved. Additionally, it has an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Thank you for providing the information. Indeed. I spoke with the dealer, who informed me that the touch screen functionality had been deactivated as a precautionary measure in light of safety considerations. I am curious about the feasibility of using the touch screen functionality via a software update or by means of hacking. Thank you for your response.

I now reside in the Philippines and just acquired possession of my CX-90 vehicle. The device is equipped with a 12.3-inch centre display; nevertheless, it does not possess touch functionality, even while operating in Android Auto or Apple CarPlay mode. Similar to the US model, there is no mention of the touch screen functionality in the Bluetooth menu. Is it possible to enable this function via a software update? Thank you for your response.

Generation 4 Prius Plug-In Hybrid-EV Conversion
KOOLCAR replied to NAVITEL's topic in General Car Chat
Based on my assessment, I have not identified any apparent issues. The battery consistently maintains its charge level without experiencing unexpected reductions, consistently displaying the same electric vehicle (EV) range as shown on the previous day. No, the situation seems to be within the expected range, and the claimed electric vehicle (EV) range of 43 miles is commendable. In comparison, my Prius, which is a few years older, has an estimated range of around 36 miles. It is important to note that as we transition into the Autumn season and temperatures begin to decline, the indicated range of electric vehicles (EVs) will progressively diminish. One should not be taken aback if the range diminishes to the 30s, and during the coldest period of the year, maybe even the 20s, contingent upon the weather and driving circumstances. -

KOOLCAR replied to NAVITEL's topic in General Car Chat
I have not seen this phenomenon occurring in any of the Prius vehicles that I have owned. I will exercise vigilance during future instances of operating my automobile in electric vehicle (EV) mode, particularly inside urban areas. I am interested in knowing whether other individuals who own a Prius have seen this phenomenon. -
