Assistance needed in finding an oil leak in a R8 V8.
mrnobady replied to torque2me's topic in General Car Chat
Absolutely, it is possible to do the task without the need to remove the engine. However, it is necessary to remove the cooling water. The image displays components of a V10 engine. -

The source of the leak may be from the cover situated just above the chain case. Meticulously cleanse this area and proceed with riding once again. After travelling a distance of several hundred km, it becomes apparent where the oil is depleting. -

This is not a conduit for transporting oil, but rather the conduit connected to the secondary air valve. The seal is made of metal. The issue of why the oil is expelled is of more significance. -
Rattling noise coming from the doors of the CX-60.

Thank you for the clue 👍 -
Do others hear a rattling noise coming from the doors? My speedometer begins at 130 kilometres per hour. I strongly suspect that the issue lies with the LED strip located within the door trim. It is quite irritating.

I own a 2017 C250 d AMG Line Saloon, and I have observed that the rear tyres on my vehicle have a very limited lifespan, lasting barely 4,000 km. The Pirelli Cint P7 tyre model. Is this considered typical and are there other tyre options that may be more
mrnobady replied to colinallcars's topic in General Car Chat
Greetings, the vehicle I own was equipped with Continental 5p tyres, which exhibited a notably unsatisfactory rate of wear. I have just installed the Goodyear Asi 5 tyre, which is a far superior tyre in terms of overall performance. However, because to limited availability, I have temporarily installed an inexpensive Chinese tyre until my new Goodyear tyre is delivered. -
What are the anticipated performance outcomes for the CX-70?
mrnobady replied to WanderlustGuru's topic in General Car Chat
I concur with this assertion. I am interested in acquiring a vehicle with dimensions somewhat less than those of a CX-9, but larger than a CX-60. Specifically, I am seeking a vehicle that falls between the length range of 190-192 inches. The desired width need to have resemblance to that of the CX-50, while including the assertive design elements and refined aesthetic of the CX-60. I want the inclusion of identical engine options. -
It seems that you own a vehicle from the year 2022, and I have come across grievances pertaining to the aforementioned issues you have raised. In the year 2023, notable enhancements have been made to the vehicle model under discussion. These include the implementation of a refined suspension system, the incorporation of sound isolation measures inside the doors, significant advancements in the gearbox controller software, the absence of any peculiar auditory disturbances, and the mitigation of reported system problems. I am perplexed by the dealer's refusal to provide assistance. If I were in your position, I would recommend reporting this matter to the official Mazda importer in your country. However, I appreciate that this suggestion may no longer be relevant because you have chosen to go with Ford. Regardless, I would not recommend that the whole population refrain from purchasing this vehicle just based on your experience with the first production model. Personally, I am really satisfied with my own automobile and have a strong affection for it. The subject may be seen in its native environment. I have a personal inclination towards the aesthetic appeal of the aforementioned vehicle, in addition to the notable presence of 327 mechanical horsepower concealed behind its visually striking exterior. This preference is juxtaposed with the design characteristics of the Ford Kuga. However, it is important to acknowledge that individual preferences may vary.

The incident involving my keys did not occur.

The Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and EXO were professionally applied by a firm named Reep in Leicester, rather from being self-applied. I highly suggest their services for any automotive detailing requirements.

I am now engaged in the academic pursuit, and so far, it has been satisfactory. I have no grievances to express.

Is the navigation system a worthwhile investment?
mrnobady replied to TechnoTrailblazer's topic in General Car Chat
The Garmin device that I now own functions very well and is equipped with the advantageous feature of lifetime map updates. Furthermore, the device is equipped with voice-activated commands. Additionally, it does not transmit personal data to unauthorized parties. I acquired a card from the online marketplace Amazon and afterwards installed it. The map was promptly shown upon launch. I will abstain from attempting any revisions to the aforementioned text. If the product demonstrates superior performance compared to my Garmin, I may consider purchasing it during a timeframe of around 4 to 5 years. -

Could someone with expertise provide clarification for me? Do these cards provide updates for navigation systems? Is the card acquired for the purpose of obtaining navigation system functionality? Thank you for your response. -

I fully removed the chrome from my own and afterwards enveloped them in a black carbon appearance vinyl cover. -
The Kleemann SLK 55K S8 is a high-performance vehicle.

It is remarkable to observe that the subject in question remains unaltered, with the exception of the nuclear mass situated under the vehicle's hood. I would very appreciate it if you could provide inside photographs at your convenience, Rob. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have a visual representation of the engine bay. -
Indeed. I will proceed accordingly. Additionally, does the Range Rover Evoque exhibit favorable fuel efficiency in terms of miles per gallon (mpg)? I own a P300 HSE vehicle equipped with 21-inch rims. On average, the fuel efficiency of my vehicle is 17 miles per gallon in both urban and highway driving conditions. Engaging in typical driving behavior. Adhering to the designated speed limit. I filled the fuel tank completely with 91 premium gasoline, resulting in an estimated range of 285 miles.
-
I will be attending the aforementioned location tomorrow. The Land Rover Evoque in my possession has accumulated a mileage of 900 kilometers, and unfortunately, it has already encountered two distinct issues. The individual expressed a sense of dissatisfaction. Two displays that are positioned in the middle of the display are experiencing a state of immobility or unresponsiveness. The control arms are exhibiting auditory disturbances during vehicular operation.

By accessing the settings of the Heads-Up Display (HUD), it is possible to disable its functionality. The presence of a dedicated button on the steering wheel is not observed. To access the menu, users are required to choose the "menu" option and go horizontally using the arrow keys. By doing so, they will be able to locate the "HUD" option, where they may modify the information shown on the heads-up display (HUD).

The individual from whom I get goods exhibits a lack of knowledge or understanding. During my recent visit to Cavender Audi in San Antonio, TX for the 5000 mile service of my vehicle, I communicated the details about the logs and software upgrades that were previously discussed in this conversation. However, it seemed that the dealer personnel at Cavender Audi were not familiar with the aforementioned information. The individuals seemed to possess a limited understanding of software updates or the concept of a log. I am really concerned.
-
Could you please clarify your statement? I am unfamiliar with the subject matter you are discussing, however I guess that it pertains to a log derived from the computer system integrated into a certain vehicle or machinery. I identify myself as a consumer, and it is my belief that the original poster (OP) also falls into this category. As an individual without technical expertise, I possess no proficiency in accessing or obtaining the aforementioned log. I would want to inquire once again about the method through which I may get this item. The notion of a premium automobile being seen as somewhat absurd is a point worth considering, wouldn't you agree? It is presumed that the subject under discussion pertains to the issue of roll back. The multitronic transmission system in my vehicle does not exhibit the expected level of smoothness. In direct contrast, it is evident that our Nissan Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) has a far smoother acceleration profile. Once the vehicle reaches optimal velocity, the transmission operates with remarkable fluidity; nonetheless, during initial acceleration, the Audi exhibits pronounced jerking movements.

Whirring W211 rearview mirror at 30 mph
mrnobady replied to allmightyASTON's topic in General Car Chat
The identical clicking sound has been emanating from the passenger side mirror of my S211 as of late. It wasn't until it stopped folding correctly that I even realized anything was wrong. It can still be folded, but only with the assistance of a kind traveler. I didn't realize the clicking started at 30 mph, but I double-checked today and you're right. Astute observation. The glass tilting mechanism isn't to blame since I can move it and strike the end stops without hearing the same noise. The noise you hear is most likely the folding mechanism at work. I was wondering if you folded your mirrors before setting out whether they would automatically unfold once you reached 30 mph.
