While it is not an issue, like most clubs and forums, there are certain regulations, and this one is particularly stringent regarding new members. It would have been advantageous for you to review the regulations, as this would have provided you with a preliminary advantage. However, as previously noted, there are specific activities in which you may not engage until you have made 30 valid posts and maintained membership for 30 days. Administrators reserve the right to discount posts they consider invalid; thus, superficial responses or trivial comments aimed at rapidly increasing your count are unlikely to succeed, as they will likely be noticed, leading to their removal from your total count. Merely a matter of exercising patience, engaging when possible, and appreciating the existing content on the forum that captivates your interest.

Must initiate the startup process twice.

I now engage the brake, hit the start button, and wait for the drive light to illuminate green, which takes only a few seconds. [/QUOTE] Indeed, I wait; nonetheless, the green READY light does not illuminate on the initial attempt. -
Greetings, Despite wearing my seatbelt, my KIA NIRO prevents me from engaging reverse or drive when I start the vehicle. Upon rebooting, I can engage either reverse or drive. What mistakes am I making, please?

I was on the verge of initiating my own discussion over this matter, but your description closely mirrors what I would have said for my 2014 C200 S205. This phenomenon has only recently commenced for me, during the past week. Does it pertain to the cooler weather? A similar discussion on this forum discusses a fuel pipe that is susceptible to leakage. This pertains to a C350e, so may not be applicable in this context.

Replacing the front wheel on the 2023/2024 Evoque

A conventional jack is inadequate for a 4x4 vehicle. Obtain a substantial, level, and stable surface beneath the jack, such as paving slabs, and you should be secure. -
Sounds amazing. I hope you remain here to provide all the details. 👍

I am unable to respond to your inquiry and, to be candid, I lack interest in the response. 😁 However, I eagerly anticipate witnessing and learning about it. It will be fantastic. What is the colour and specification listed on the order sheet?

Activate reverse camera while in Drive mode.
paulh2602601 replied to markjay's topic in General Car Chat
The Niro 2 may lack front-facing sensors. However, the head unit provides an option to choose whether the reversing camera stays on while transitioning from reverse to drive. I disabled the option, since it seemed perplexing on my Niro 3. -
When the vehicle is operational, the voltage between the terminals should exceed 13 volts, approaching 14.5 volts in contemporary automobiles. What is the number of batteries in the car? A shop would own a load tester capable of evaluating the battery by applying a load and measuring the rate of voltage decline.

Indeed, it is an excellent destination; yet, it becomes exceedingly crowded. I reside nearby, and last year it took me a considerable amount of time to depart; but, the minor traffic inconvenience was worthwhile. -
I bet they complied. It is subpar, and they are unable to distribute them.

The V220 CDI W638 fails to start during a brief drive.
paulh2602601 replied to torque2me's topic in General Car Chat
The thought occurred to me when I perused the first post here. Approximately 34 to 35 years ago, I purchased a one-year-old Vauxhall sports vehicle. Initially, it operated exceptionally; but, after a year, attempts to start the vehicle from a heated engine sometimes yielded no results, if I recall correctly. No auditory response when turning the key. If I recall correctly, it was one of those relays. I was fortunate to visit the main dealer, where I described the issue. The receptionist suggested I try a relay switch, a little rectangular item, and provided one for testing, allowing me to return it if ineffective. It resolved the problem. Modify - my vehicle was petrol-powered with electronic fuel injection. -
Kia Introduces EV4 and Concept EV2
paulh2602601 replied to WhisperingWillow's topic in General Car Chat
The Picanto-sized electric vehicle is the model that ought to have been the first version. Prioritise the tiny size first. I have never understood Kia's chosen direction. They might have used the smaller 39kWh battery that was tested in the Niro, but it did not achieve significant sales success. It would have served as an excellent introductory electric vehicle. Failed to capitalise on several sales, resulting in customers opting for other manufacturers who provide that size vehicle. I like the appearance of the EV4. -
A vehicle publication said in its evaluation of the early Mercedes-AMG E55 that it represented 'two cars for the price of two :)' The same wording applies to the RR. I want a chance for modest off-roading, preferably this month in Big Bend National Park.

I reside in Texas; maybe its merits will be evident if we go to Colorado during winter.

Our 550e surpassed 5000 kilometres only a few days ago, and I have already accumulated impressions from a variety of driving conditions. The vehicle was delivered in mid-November and has undergone one extensive road trip, many local excursions, and frequent everyday use. Vehicle: 550e SE, Belgravia Green, equipped with almost all options except back seat monitors. After 5000 miles, I found most options valuable, save for the heated windscreen. The intricate interwoven mesh serves as a distraction, contingent upon the angle of light striking the windscreen. I subsequently had the OEM tow bar fitted post-delivery. Positive feedback: Exceptionally pleasant journey. I mostly maintain the car in comfort mode. This necessitates a reduction in speed on bends, but aligns with the overarching idea of leisurely driving for which this vehicle excels. Agile. The four-wheel steering facilitates effortless parking. Excellent electric vehicle range—sufficient for my everyday commuting needs. I only refuel when I am travelling out of town. Exceptional fuel efficiency with a completely depleted battery - I get 28-30 MPG at typical speeds of 65-70, contingent on the terrain. Adore the P400 engine. Fluid and abundant in power. The interior components, including the SV leather and enhanced carpets, are of high quality. The front seats are equipped with an impressive array of massaging features. The automatic headlamp and high/low beam function well. PiviPro is excellent after a brief learning curve. The screen is an appropriate size—sufficiently enough to be functional but not too large to overshadow the dashboard. The program is very user-friendly. The iRemote application offers valuable information and functionalities. Indifferent: A restricted array of knobs and buttons would be preferable. I believe that 2023 achieved an optimal balance between screen and tactile controls. Merely having the capability to activate or deactivate seat heating and cooling would suffice. The Meridian 3D has amazing sound quality with some songs, but other material is quite uninspiring. In my opinion, the sound processing is quite rudimentary, which may be seen as either advantageous or disadvantageous depending on one's perspective. The seat cushion does not stretch enough while I am in the passenger seat and want to rest. I am of average height and have not had this issue in our prior vehicles. The door lock and unlock buttons might be positioned at a greater elevation. The mobile charging pad works effectively 70% of the time, exhibiting high sensitivity to the positioning of the phone. The phone's head must be orientated towards the driver, with its long edge aligned against the mat's edge for effective inductive charging. Our phones do not experience overheating, however. The auto unlock feature seems to have become rather sluggish, as I sometimes had wait several seconds behind the vehicle before the handles emerge. I have disabled the auto-lock feature. Diatribes The lane-keeping feature is very frustrating, especially on rural roadways. The vehicle is likely to adhere to an exit marker rather than remaining on the roadway. Why not use the turn signal status to determine whether to go straight or depart? This issue may be rectified in the code. The radar-based cruise control has shown a delayed response when a vehicle abruptly merges in front, necessitating quick braking. Proposed enhancements Incorporate an additional button on the trunk lid that simultaneously shuts and secures the trunk. Our Cayenne has this feature, which is rather convenient. Transitioning CarPlay between two phones requires many steps on the display. A personalised button on the Pivi Home Screen would be advantageous. A limited number of tactile buttons for seat adjustment. Integrate the seat memory settings, user profile, and key into a cohesive system, ensuring that when Driver A or B utilises their key to unlock the vehicle, all configurations are appropriately established. I am really pleased with my first Range Rover. It has been some time since I own a vehicle that I eagerly anticipate driving, regardless of the destination.

Have you examined the schematics in the Partsouq.com catalogue? Input your vehicle's VIN to get a comprehensive list of components, including part numbers and exploded schematics. Hyundai and Kia share several components, allowing them to be classified under either brand.
