  1. My male companion Having only made one post in a span of seven years is quite an impressive feat, maybe setting a new world record. Congratulations!
  2. In 2023, I plan to take my vehicle to the dealers and have them handle any issues that arise, since it will still be covered by the warranty.
  3. My wife possesses only the physical copy of her identification. During a recent visit to the bank, she encountered a situation where the bank employee declined to accept her paper ID. In response, I proposed that either someone else assist us or that we close our accounts. Promptly, an individual emerged from the rear section of the bank, resolving the issue. It is reasonable to expect that if paper IDs are deemed acceptable by the police, they should be accepted by all others, until my wife reaches the age of 70. After three years, the age is very advanced!
  4. I can really affirm that this has not occurred in my own experience. I do not recall ever receiving a low battery warning message. Simply get a high-quality AGM battery, which should provide for your needs.
  5. At what point in time was the programme updated? I have previously performed an update on my device once during the last maintenance, which occurred around 2 to 3 months ago. An further update was implemented today.
  6. I acquired my CX90 Turbo Premium Plus within the first month of its release. Despite owning the vehicle for more than a year, I remain dissatisfied with the performance of the gearboxes, particularly at low speeds and when the i-STOP feature is on. When the automobile is travelling at low speeds, such as at a STOP sign, its stopping or accelerating behaviour is erratic and abrupt. In addition to the low speeds of 5-20 mph, I also had a momentary loss of gearbox at around 55 mph. The car feels a bit better for a week or two after the service and goes back to the same behavior. Disabling i-STOP improves the experience somewhat, but it requires manual intervention each time the vehicle is stopped or started. The identical problem has caused me to take my automobile to the dealership for the third occasion. The support agent informed me that there are other customers who have experienced a similar problem. Recalls and software updates are implemented in an effort to rectify the problem with the automobile. Has anybody encountered a similar problem?
  7. Driving the transporter with the front suspension and steering located behind the driver must be a rather unusual feeling.
  8. You are a commendable parent for purchasing a Mercedes for your kid. :thumb: It indicates that you have a genuine concern for your kid. 👍
  9. Locate a workshop that specialises in manufacturing and customising exhaust tips. I would place two tips on each side. This is an example of something similar.
  10. Based on your location in New Zealand, I would want to confirm if you are interested in doing tests inside your nation or with neighbouring Australians, or if you would also consider including North American testers.
  11. An benefit of the Fluke kind is that it eliminates the risk of accidentally impaling your fingertips.
  12. I had a similar issue, where the problem was identified as the front nearside wheel sensor. LR support promptly replaced it within an hour. This resolved the issue well. 👍
  13. Hello everyone, I recently purchased the new shape Sportage GT Line with a petrol manual gearbox. I bought this car to replace my previous Sportage GT Line, which I owned for four years without any issues. However, I have noticed that the centre console key tray/phone tray at the dashboard end is made entirely of plastic and lacks a rubber insert. As a result, everything inside the tray tends to slide around, which is quite frustrating for me. I was wondering if anyone knows whether Kia off Thank you very much.
  14. There was a discussion on a different online forum about the possibility of retrofitting Wireless CarPlay in MX-5s by just replacing the CMU (Car Multimedia Unit) with a compatible one. Perhaps we can explore a similar solution for our CX-30s. Retrieve the part numbers and related information.
  15. Indeed, the 57mm snout pulley is the only component required to go from stage 1 to stage 2. Understood, I appreciate it. Thank you for the advice on the C32 belt. I will investigate it, esteemed individual.
  16. Once again, it provides you with all the necessary information. Weistec is aware of the problem, but they refuse to take any action to assist customers who have been left in a difficult situation due to pulley/belt failure. They only mention this issue on their product page, which is not present if you view the product pages for the individual pulleys instead of a kit. Despite this, they continue to sell these products. When a pulley malfunctions and damages your belt, you will have to wait for a replacement belt specifically designed for the supercharger to be supplied from the United States, which is not a fast process. https://www.weistec.com/62mm-grooved-idler-6-rib.html https://www.weistec.com/76mm-idler.html https://www.weistec.com/54mm-idler.html
  17. https://www.weistec.com/billet-idler-pulleys.html Although the billet pulleys are included with the purchase of a supercharger, Weistec's website explicitly states that they are not suited for use in supercharged systems when purchased independently. That statement should provide sufficient information for everyone. To be honest, it is a joke. Although I don't use Facebook much, I personally had this problem and saw a post on the C63 AMG UK owners club where it seems that most individuals who have installed Weistec products have experienced this failure.
  18. Out of curiosity, whatever specific pulley are you referring to?
  19. I am not acquainted with the PTG kit, but I have installed stage 2 Weistec on my vehicle. The supercharger itself has not presented any problems. However, the pulleys that come with it (or at least were included when I made the purchase) are susceptible to failure. These pulleys are marketed as an upgrade and can also be purchased separately. Unfortunately, the bearings used in these pulleys are not as reliable as the original equipment manufacturer's. The only improvement made was to the outer pulley material.
  20. I believe it is possible to get INPA for no cost, but you would need to purchase the cable, which is priced at £30.
  21. My suggestion would be to get anything you can from it in its current condition and purchase a replacement. Undertaking such a substantial task is not without its hazards, so just enjoy the experience of purchasing a new one.
  22. We purchased our vehicle brand new in 2015. I have not had any significant problems throughout the course of driving 70,000 miles. We are now seeking to promptly replace it with another Evoque.
