  1. I had a similar issue, where the problem was identified as the front nearside wheel sensor. LR support promptly replaced it within an hour. This resolved the issue well. 👍
  2. Hello everyone, I recently purchased the new shape Sportage GT Line with a petrol manual gearbox. I bought this car to replace my previous Sportage GT Line, which I owned for four years without any issues. However, I have noticed that the centre console key tray/phone tray at the dashboard end is made entirely of plastic and lacks a rubber insert. As a result, everything inside the tray tends to slide around, which is quite frustrating for me. I was wondering if anyone knows whether Kia off Thank you very much.
  3. There was a discussion on a different online forum about the possibility of retrofitting Wireless CarPlay in MX-5s by just replacing the CMU (Car Multimedia Unit) with a compatible one. Perhaps we can explore a similar solution for our CX-30s. Retrieve the part numbers and related information.
  4. Indeed, the 57mm snout pulley is the only component required to go from stage 1 to stage 2. Understood, I appreciate it. Thank you for the advice on the C32 belt. I will investigate it, esteemed individual.
  5. Once again, it provides you with all the necessary information. Weistec is aware of the problem, but they refuse to take any action to assist customers who have been left in a difficult situation due to pulley/belt failure. They only mention this issue on their product page, which is not present if you view the product pages for the individual pulleys instead of a kit. Despite this, they continue to sell these products. When a pulley malfunctions and damages your belt, you will have to wait for a replacement belt specifically designed for the supercharger to be supplied from the United States, which is not a fast process. https://www.weistec.com/62mm-grooved-idler-6-rib.html https://www.weistec.com/76mm-idler.html https://www.weistec.com/54mm-idler.html
  6. https://www.weistec.com/billet-idler-pulleys.html Although the billet pulleys are included with the purchase of a supercharger, Weistec's website explicitly states that they are not suited for use in supercharged systems when purchased independently. That statement should provide sufficient information for everyone. To be honest, it is a joke. Although I don't use Facebook much, I personally had this problem and saw a post on the C63 AMG UK owners club where it seems that most individuals who have installed Weistec products have experienced this failure.
  7. Out of curiosity, whatever specific pulley are you referring to?
  8. I am not acquainted with the PTG kit, but I have installed stage 2 Weistec on my vehicle. The supercharger itself has not presented any problems. However, the pulleys that come with it (or at least were included when I made the purchase) are susceptible to failure. These pulleys are marketed as an upgrade and can also be purchased separately. Unfortunately, the bearings used in these pulleys are not as reliable as the original equipment manufacturer's. The only improvement made was to the outer pulley material.
  9. I believe it is possible to get INPA for no cost, but you would need to purchase the cable, which is priced at £30.
  10. My suggestion would be to get anything you can from it in its current condition and purchase a replacement. Undertaking such a substantial task is not without its hazards, so just enjoy the experience of purchasing a new one.
  11. We purchased our vehicle brand new in 2015. I have not had any significant problems throughout the course of driving 70,000 miles. We are now seeking to promptly replace it with another Evoque.
  12. I am interested in upgrading my seats to wingbacks and installing the optimal navigation/stereo system to replace the original one.Additionally, I am in need of a collection of Y-shaped wheels. Any input or advice would be much appreciated.
  13. Impressive engine 👌 My friend was quite pleased with his. He had it for a few years and just upgraded to an M2.
  14. The Goodyear Asy 6 is a high-quality performance tyre known for its reduced noise emissions.
  15. Mazda has achieved higher sales of CX-90 vehicles in its first year than the highest sales record of CX-9 vehicles in any given year. Since its debut, Mazda has sold a total of 40,805 units of the CX-90. Most customers have not had significant or even mild problems. If you believe that Mazda is presently experiencing negative energy, I suggest you examine the recalls and cessation of sales in other brands as well. Each automobile has its own set of problems. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/mazda-reports-record-december-sales-and-full-year-2023-sales-results-302025443.html https://news.mazdausa.com/2024-04-02-Mazda-Reports-March-Sales-Results
  16. The vehicle is now at Eurowerks in Pompano, where it is undergoing the installation of its final bespoke inside carbon fibre elements provided by DB Carbon. Audi Sport will manufacture machined wheels next week. Visual media will be provided thereafter.
  17. I own a 2022 Rear-Wheel Drive Performance Spyder. The modifications made to the vehicle include a DME Stage 2 tune, allowing for a redline of 9000 rpm, a TCU tune, a Pedal Box, an iPE exhaust system, a carbon fibre front sway bar, carbon fibre elements both inside and outside the vehicle and GT OEM external pieces. Osman provided me with assistance. The car has an astonishing 700 horsepower. She is quite impressive!
  18. During the first month of owning the vehicle, I have managed to get a maximum range of 26 miles on a full charge. However, it is important to note that the actual range may vary. I am aware that when I have 5 kilometres or fewer left, the battery charge depletes to 0 overnight, most likely as a result of the low temperatures prevalent in the Boston region. Nevertheless, when I examine the High Voltage Battery Monitor page, it will display a charge level ranging from 15% to 20%, but it will show a range of 0. While operating in Normal mode, I am able to generate electric power while coasting or when stationary, but I am unable to activate the electric vehicle (EV) mode.
  19. Disregard the "not ready" warning shown on the screen of your i-STOP device if there are no further indicators on the icons. Consult the Energy Flow Monitor only in cases when i-STOP is malfunctioning, since the symbols would assist in pinpointing the specific location of the issue. Alternatively, just get pleasure from the vehicle and depend on its sophisticated system to determine when it is energy-efficient to use i-STOP and when it is not. As you said, there are several occurrences when i-STOP briefly fails to function for various reasons. I am not the most qualified individual to provide guidance on i-STOP, since I really dislike this technology and my first action on every vehicle is to promptly deactivate it upon engine start. Fortunately, the process of pressing a single button on Mazda is efficient and effortless. Other manufacturers use more intricate methods. In light of my professional responsibilities, I was required to engage in the examination of technical solutions pertaining to start/stop systems, as well as the software algorithms associated with these systems throughout their early stages of development. This persuaded me that the implementation of these systems was only a superficial tactic to appease environmentally-minded government officials who lack a solid understanding of fundamental physics. Furthermore, the tangible advantages of these systems for car owners are minimal. I am not inclined to get into the intricate scientific aspects of this matter, but it is crucial to comprehend that the concept of free energy does not exist. If the engine is deactivated and the AC, lights, heating, infotainment, and other systems are operated using the battery, it becomes necessary to restore the electric energy that has been consumed. Consequently, in the case of the M Hybrid system, such as the CX-30, the integrated starter generator (ISG) will require a greater amount of power from the engine upon re-starting. Consequently, this leads to increased fuel consumption and emissions. If you reside in a location where you often halt at traffic lights for a duration of 2-3 minutes and thereafter proceed to drive at a speed of 30 mph or higher without any restrictions, i-STOP may provide you with a marginal advantage in terms of fuel efficiency. However, doing this on the crowded metropolitan roads of the United Kingdom is seldom, since the majority of the time we navigate through start-stop traffic, with brief stoppage lasting 5-10 seconds, followed by a comparable rush of activity. Engaging i-STOP will result in the engine starting and stopping every 5-10 seconds, which is detrimental to both the engine and your mental well-being. One may choose to maintain pressure on the clutch to avoid this occurrence, however this contradicts the fundamental purpose of i-STOP. If you are driving in a rational manner and adjusting your speed based on the general traffic flow, i-STOP is completely ineffective outside of towns and cities. Regrettably, starting from 2017, all of my vehicles, including my two present Mazdas, were equipped with a start/stop system. However, as previously said, I now mostly disable it and use auto-pilot instead. I have certain reservations about the information provided by your vendor. Initially, I own a 2021 CX-30 and my dealer performed all software upgrades on my vehicle without any charges or inquiries. When you bring the automobile for service, they inquire if you would want the software to be updated. My dealership employs a dedicated advisor that diligently oversees all software upgrades and promptly notifies you of any available updates for your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). This pertains primarily to previous iterations lacking Connected Services and over-the-air upgrade capabilities, such as the car in question. I concur with the notion that the issue you have seen may be associated with the outdated software rather than the i-STOP system per se. Additionally, it was communicated that the problem with your i-STOP was remedied via the process of charging a 12V battery. It would be OK to do this action on older SKYACTIV-G engines that do not have M Hybrid. Nevertheless, with M Hybrid systems, after the first cold engine start is completed, full control over future start/stop procedures is transferred to a distinct Hybrid battery, namely a 24V Li-Ion battery. with contrast, a 12V battery does not play any role in this process. These devices are hermetically sealed and do not have readily accessible connections. They may be connected to a charger, but they are not intended to be recharged at the workplace. Similar to other electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid vehicle batteries, the batteries used in Mazda's M Hybrid car are considered disposable equipment. Consequently, Mazda provides an 8-year guarantee for the M Hybrid battery. Apologies for my scepticism about your dealership, but it seems that they are attempting to either deter you or exploit you. Do they just concentrate in Mazda dealerships or do they also provide Mazda products with other brands?
  20. The Energy Flow Monitor display displays three distinct icons, namely AC, Battery, and Engine, arranged in a left-to-right sequence. Which items are emphasised when the "not ready" notification is received? Does the i-Stop function well, or is it only an inaccurate signal, or does it consistently fail to function in certain particular circumstances? Kindly specify the year model and provide details on the engine and trim characteristics, since the user profile does not provide clear information.
  21. A tranny flush was performed on a previously owned Mazda 3, resulting in a near-broken gearbox. The flush agitated the sludge and metal particles inside the mechanism, necessitating the disassembly of the tranny for repair. Please submit a sample of the tranny fluid and a sample of the "new" fluid to a recognised oil laboratory for comparative analysis. The resultant report will provide valuable insights for decision-making purposes. In my opinion, a mileage of 35,000 miles is quite short for a tranny's oil to get deteriorated, unless you have been engaging in substantial off-road rallies.
  22. The issue I had was with the rocker cover gasket, so I decided to replace both gaskets while I was doing a carbon clean, which made the task somewhat more manageable. The right-hand side bank proved less challenging compared to the left. The primary concern was obtaining sufficient clearance as a result of the coil pack loom being wedged against the rocker cover.
