KWILB
Greetings, everyone! I own a 2009 Pre-Facelift C200K equipped with the elegance package. (Includes Images) I received it from my father in December upon obtaining my driver's licence. I have invested a significant amount of effort on it, mostly focusing on the engine and the inside. Currently, I am eagerly anticipating enhancing the visual appeal of the outside. I am contemplating enhancing its appearance to exude a more athletic and assertive aesthetic, however I am open to any suggestions as well. However, I have limited financial resources due to my age of 17. If you have any budget-friendly external modifications (ranging from free to £40), I will certainly take them into consideration. Thank you in advance, everyone. 🙂
BENZE220AMG
Congratulations on successfully completing your driving test and acquiring a luxurious Mercedes as your first vehicle at the young age of 17 - a really exceptional accomplishment. I understand that there may be a desire to personalise your first automobile, but I would advise against it, since yours already seems to be an attractive model. It ultimately depends on personal preference, but I feel that making alterations that cost up to £40 would detract from the aesthetic appeal of your automobile. I acknowledge that I may come out as a really difficult person with unconventional preferences. Ensure that you use caution when driving and get pleasure from owning a beautiful automobile. 👍🏻
ENVIOclev
When it comes to modifications, you should prioritise ensuring that your vehicle is adequately insured. Additionally, pay attention to maintaining a flawless appearance, including the use of mats with stripes and achieving optimal reflections. Lastly, it is crucial to avoid any accidents or collisions. The opportunity for modification will arise in due time. I am elderly as well. What was the cost of your insurance?
KWILB
Currently, I purchase temporary insurance each time I drive. However, upon investigation, I discovered that the cost of insurance amounts to £9500 each year. Incredible...
Needsnewtyres2
Congratulations on acquiring a luxurious Mercedes as your first automobile... Another perspective from an older generation on modifications... I would allocate my hard-earned funds into purchasing a select number high-quality detailing products and engaging in regular maintenance. Maintain the appearance and performance of your Mercedes. In my opinion, brake callipers that are well cleaned and painted will have a far more appealing appearance compared to a forty-pound boot spoiler. Take pleasure in your automobile. DMGRS
As a mature individual with a youthful spirit, I am choosing to align myself with the majority in this situation. Strive for simplicity and authenticity, replacing any elements that detract from the overall quality (such as alloy centre caps, for instance), and focus on achieving the highest possible level for the painting. Black vehicles with a glossy and attractive paint finish seem quite impressive. Have a pleasurable experience!

Treeri
I inherently possess a strong dislike for conforming to popular opinion, yet even I am finding it difficult to contradict the prevailing agreement expressed above. To fully appreciate this automobile, it is necessary to make some adjustments. Your mentality is crucial. You should strive to appreciate and commemorate the true essence of the situation, rather than attempting to transform it into something it is not.You get significant support in doing this by possessing an automobile that is widely regarded as desirable, and which very few other 17-year-olds could ever contemplate acquiring. Most young people begin their driving journey with an outdated, little hatchback that they feel the need to modify in order to make it seem more attractive to their friends, instead of like the practical grocery cart that their mother owns (which it usually is). Those individuals who are enthusiasts of high-performance vehicles, characterised by their noisy exhaust systems, modified suspension systems, and so on, would likely want to own a car similar to yours in the future, provided they attain a level of financial stability that allows for such a purchase. If you are resolute in making your impact, regardless of the scepticism from others (or maybe even motivated by it, if you have a similar disposition as myself), then for what it's worth, I recommend the following: The use of dark tinting on the side and rear windows serves to enhance the natural "gangsta" aesthetic of the vehicle. This will also enhance the sense of exclusivity for you and your group, allowing you to enjoy your party in the rear area without being seen. Is there a bonus available for any typical 17-year-old? In addition, to intentionally challenge the beliefs of those elderly individuals who believe they have acquired knowledge over the last 70 years that you, being 17 years old, do not possess, I enthusiastically suggest using AMG branding. Hello there, my friend.
alabbasi
I agree with the sentiments expressed by the others. The current appearance of the object is commendable, but it may benefit from the addition of larger, more slender spokes on the wheel. However, it is plausible that such an enhancement may exceed the financial constraints you have specified.
Doncaster34
As a basic modification, you have the option to change the front grille. There are several choices available, including the C63 appearance (but there are also various additional alternatives to choose). Nevertheless, purchasing it will cost you between £100 and £150. Additionally, you will be required to notify your insurance provider, which, given your age of 17, may result in higher expenses.

allmightyASTON
If something is not malfunctioning, there is no need to make any changes to it. Typically, when efforts are made to improve the appearance of a vehicle, particularly with limited financial resources, the outcome tends to be the opposite and it ends up looking worse. An immaculate and slightly lowered vehicle is far more aesthetically pleasing than a car adorned with several gaudy eBay accessories. Rudy7831
Considering your budget of £40.00, it is important to note that you will not be able to get a significant amount of modifications. Consider examining a collection of metal door pins or even a sophisticated gear knob. Ensure that the vehicle remains clean and organised, and take pleasure in being its owner. another_clean_sheet
A budget of £40 should be plenty to purchase a high-quality air freshener. However, it is important to maintain its aesthetic appeal, which it now has. While I understand your desire to make some modifications, there is nothing inherently wrong with it.
