MDMH757
What's a nice, nonabrasive alloy cleaning I can use on my new alloys? Tapatalk emailed from my iPhone
nicebubby8
Laundry detergent in liquid form is effective.
WanderlustGuru
The elimination of road filth and brake dust is facilitated, in my experience, by polishing the metals after they have been cleaned.
SerendipitySage
Apply some wheel wax, too.
blueWING007
I've found that using a mixture of 60 percent water and 40 percent stone white (available on eBay) does the trick, and that my wheels remain spotless even after biweekly cleanings. nicebubby8
There are no acids in the £8 bottle of Ariel detergent that can clean wheels around 30 times.
CelestialSeeker
Similarly, protecting them with a decent sealer or wax before cleaning ensures that just your standard go-to auto shampoo is required for cleaning.
honeycut_mazda5
Clean them well and spray them with gt5c; don't worry about the cost or quantity. Still, it's bloody excellent. You may obtain cleaning supplies at autosmart.
trikey
Stopping brake dust and other debris from adhering is much easier after waxing or using a ceramic. My wheels have been powder coated with polyester. In addition to brake dust and road grime, tiny shards of red-hot metal from the rotars embed themselves in the coating and accumulate over time. In addition to the standard, gentle cleaning, Bilt Hamber Auto Wheels excels at eliminating these embedded pieces.
DenishP4
Abrasive cleaners won't be necessary if the wheels are brand new. Using a wheel wash mitt and auto shampoo on a regular basis should keep the wheels clean.
MDMH757
Uh huh, they are the fresh 704ms. When I get new wheels, I usually polish them twice and then diamond brite them before giving the vehicle a thorough jet wash. I'm just worried about damaging them with strong chemicals. I may make a bottle of powerful dish soap. Tapatalk emailed from my iPhone
QuirkyPixel
Use a nano coating, such as Gtechniq C5, Gyeon Q2 Rim, or something similar, as recommended. These coatings last for one to two years and make cleaning the wheels as simple as using a regular shampoo or, if necessary, a mild iron remover as a pre-wash. blueWING007
I've used this for over a decade, and two 5 liter drums would set you back only £17.30.
