Install paddle shifters on W204 C250 CDI thru retrofitting.diablos_carcv5 replied to motorman3's topic in General Car Chat Occasionally, I confess to using the paddle to reduce speed without using the brakes. However, it is important to acknowledge that this is the primary purpose for which the brakes were specifically engineered. I sometimes used them for amusement purposes during my most recent automobile rental, namely on a Dodge Charger equipped with a 9-speed transmission.

Install paddle shifters on W204 C250 CDI thru retrofitting.diablos_carcv5 replied to motorman3's topic in General Car Chat If your vehicle is equipped with a manual shifting function, such as mine, it may be feasible to create paddle shifters yourself. Someone with more expertise will arrive shortly to provide additional information. 👍

Install paddle shifters on W204 C250 CDI thru retrofitting.diablos_carcv5 replied to motorman3's topic in General Car Chat Uncertain, but trust the perspective of someone who has paddle shifters on their C55 V8 AMG. You will quickly get weary of them and use them seldom. Arguably, your automobile has a superior gearbox compared to mine, but with less power. Consequently, the ability to manually swap gears might be considered advantageous. The probability of it being an inexpensive modification, even if feasible, is quite low. Best wishes. 👍

The part number of the door lock actuator.diablos_carcv5 replied to NAVITEL's topic in General Car Chat Greetings, It may be inferred that the emergency key is located inside the passenger door. That is the purpose of the third cable. The presence of the 3 or 2 cable/emergency key on the drivers door or passenger door of some automobiles seems to be quite arbitrary. The component numbers also seem to be rather arbitrary.

Thank you, ElectricEclipse. Indeed, it is the location where I located my present programme version. The conclusion of the numerical value corresponds to the date. Therefore, I am of the opinion that it is operating on the first iteration. If I am accurate, December 16th is 12th. The first component of the numerical value is evidently MY17. I was unable to determine the specific portion of the number that indicates the sort of GEN 5 it is. I have acquired and executed the Kia software updater application on my personal computer. If one were to do a search using either the VIN or the software version, it is expected that the appropriate software would be selected for download. That is the only information I need.

Thank you for your responses. I am uncertain if my device is a small or normal Gen5 model. However, the images that Faltwen had shared have resemblance to the symbols shown on my displays, leading me to conclude that it is likely.

I own a 2018 Sportage plate. Upon further investigation, it has been determined that the vehicle in question is a my17 automobile. The infotainment software seems to be outdated, suggesting that it may not have been updated. I like the multi-colored menu icons. I believe the device is either a Gen5 standard or a small model, however I am uncertain. My inquiry is if upgrading to the latest software would result in a transition of the icons from the multicoloured ones I now own to the neon ones seen on some vehicles. Indeed, I have a preference for the coloured option. In the event of a change, I may choose to maintain the current state.

My CarPlay works reliably, however I get issues with Android Auto when Google Maps or Waze disconnect after around 30 minutes. Reconnecting allows them to operate perfectly for the remainder of the journey. Initially, it occurred during the day, and I attributed it to the sun/heat, but then it also happened at night.

Front-facing booster seats may be utilised in the front without disabling the airbags. It is recommended to adjust the front seat to its farthest position. It is still safer to sit in the rear until booster seats are no longer necessary.

Diesel fuel leaking from exhaust joint at FBH.diablos_carcv5 replied to migueldosantos77's topic in General Car Chat I had the same problem, however in my case, the heater would produce a significant amount of smoke due to frequent ignition. I discovered that the ceramic insulator containing the glow plug at the top of the burner core was damaged and disintegrated when I dismantled it.

Overview of Burger Motorsports JB4 Installationdiablos_carcv5 replied to MidnightMarauder's topic in General Car Chat Do you provide the basic model CX-90 with a 280 horsepower engine? or the Turbo S variants?

Greetings, everybody. I own a Range Rover Sport SDV6 3.0L diesel vehicle, and we just fixed the engine due to a broken crankshaft. Upon starting the engine, it stalls and displays a limited performance notice on the dashboard along with smoke. The diagnostic report indicates a defective MAP sensor or a lack of MAP sensor detection. We inspected the plug and found no voltage reaching the map sensor plug. We next examined the ECU pins connected to the map sensor plug and confirmed the presence of ground and power, but no signal. We removed the ECU and submitted it for repair, but they reported that there are no problems with it. Is it necessary to replace the ECU, or is there a component that is not visible causing the confusion? If anybody has any ideas, I would appreciate the assistance. Thank you in advance.

Are there any individuals who possess a vehicle with a 3.3-liter petrol engine present on this forum? I acquired a 3.3-liter gasoline-powered vehicle that was produced in July of 2023. Currently, there are no significant concerns and the vehicle operates well. I am keenly monitoring the CX90 on the North American market, which is equipped with the same engine and gearbox. It seems that the majority of issues arise from plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) models.

I am the proud owner of a 2023 Machine Grey CX-5.diablos_carcv5 replied to KOOLCAR's topic in General Car Chat The colour of my sixth machine is similarly machine grey, and it has a notably delicate texture that renders it very prone to chipping. In fact, the quality of Mazda's paint is subpar, hence I strongly advise allocating more funds to cover the whole hood. I would want to provide my advise.. After six years of driving with only the front third done, it was a mistake. By the way, the cost of my Stinger was $1500 (Canadian dollars), hence a price of $1250 may be considered reasonable.

I am the proud owner of a 2023 Machine Grey CX-5.diablos_carcv5 replied to KOOLCAR's topic in General Car Chat It is advisable to allocate more financial resources in order to fully cover the expenses associated with the whole hood. I acquired knowledge via personal experience, which included facing challenges and difficulties. I have completed the first third of the hood on my 2017 model 6 vehicle, and I have seen many minor abrasions on the top region of the exposed portion of the hood. I really dislike the appearance. I have just acquired a 2023 Stinger automobile and have proceeded to apply a protective coating to both the front bumper and the whole of the hood. I would refrain from engaging in the practise of using a partial hood in the future.

It may seem trivial, but have you attempted to engage the "on" button located on the central console? Upon acquiring my vehicle, I encountered a malfunctioning screen. Seeking assistance, I approached the dealer who directed my attention to the activation switch, resulting in an immediate resolution of the issue.
