Seeking other perspectives on the AMG GTS DCT issue.

Regarding the issue of sellers attempting to charge clients for tools. A Mercedes-Benz enthusiast I know was requested to purchase a specialised tool in order to do maintenance on his almost brand-new vehicle. I cannot recall the specific item, but its cost was little less than £1,000. This individual consistently purchased two new motherboards year. Unquestionably, he instructed them to proceed and the dealer purchased the item. I recommend thoroughly examining the consumer laws to see whether you have a valid legal recourse against the garage that provided the goods or services within a timeframe of six months. It may be free of charge, with the only need being your time. -
Advanced driver assistance systems

My device emits frequent beeps accompanied by rapid warnings that I am unable to perceive due to their brevity. Given that I have successfully operated a vehicle for an extended period of time without the use of these particular items, I believe it is prudent for me to continue in this manner. -
Advanced driver assistance systems

Thank you for the responses. All of these features could be deactivated on my prior vehicle. I see the majority of them as being more of an obstacle rather than an assistance. While driving, if you hear a beep, you must divert your attention from the road in order to identify the issue. My son, who is a mechanic, believes he can disable them for me, so that is the next action I plan to take. -
I have just obtained a Kia Xceed. Is it possible to deactivate some driver assistance capabilities, including the lane assist function?

That is an unusual situation, but if I understand your article right, it confirms that the electrical connections to the individual speakers are intact. I suspect that the issue is with either the recently acquired amplifier or the head unit. I suspect that the amplifier is the issue, given that the second pair of speakers works well. Could you delicately insert a probe into the pin connections and check for a voltage reading using your digital volt-ohm metre (DVOM)? It would be advisable to test both amplifiers to see whether the issue transfers when using separate amplifiers.

Regrettably, I did not choose for the extended warranty, which was only offered for a duration of 12 months. To my surprise, I mistakenly believed it was just 6 months, as is often the case with used vehicles. I did not anticipate encountering any problems with a car that is said to be of high quality. There are several common problems that I have discovered via personal experience, for which I am not responsible. The automobile has now hit its 40,000-mile milestone, and I have personally driven around 10,000 to 12,000 miles of that total distance. Evidently, I was unaware of the driving tendencies of the prior owner, but now, I typically drive around 10 miles each day in the vehicle. Indeed, I concur. Nowadays, it is evident that durability is not a priority in the construction of many products, including automobiles. I have seen this issue prominently in my current car, particularly when comparing it to my previous BMWs. The latter vehicles exhibited a far higher level of reliability, which is why I find myself really unhappy with my current car. I did not anticipate experiencing a shower inside my vehicle originating from the windscreen, especially since it is just 4 and a half years old. Undoubtedly, it is quite unlikely for a vehicle of this calibre to have such rapid wear and tear. I was unaware of any defects in it until beyond the 3-month term, so I was unable to just return it, which was rather frustrating. However, further events unfolded in rapid succession. Typically, I am not inclined to engage in questionable activities. However, given the troublesome nature of this automobile, I believe Land Rover should assume some accountability. Unfortunately, it seems that they are indifferent to the matter. One would have expected a premium company of their calibre to have superior customer service, especially considering the potential for me to become a loyal customer and purchase many automobiles from them in the future. I am now bound by a contractual agreement with a PCC and, regrettably, returning the item immediately will have financial consequences until I pay to terminate the contract. Given the opportunity, I would readily return it without hesitation. I am now facing a hopeless situation and it seems that I will be the one bearing the financial burden.

Greetings Purchased a 2019 Range Rover Evoque with a licence plate - I have had it for about two years, and since acquiring it, I have encountered nothing but persistent issues. From problems with the battery and camera to a current issue of a leaky windscreen, which they claim need replacement. I have already spent a significant amount of money on this vehicle and it seems that I will now have to pay about £1000 to replace the windscreen. Land Rover is refusing to accept any responsibility. I have inquired about the appropriate channels to raise the concerns, but I received a response that evades addressing the topic. Where can I go from this point? I am unwilling to invest further funds into an automobile that has such significant flaws.

If you adhere to the recommended maintenance plan for your automobile and do not exceed 12,000 miles between repairs, you will never encounter this issue. On one occasion, the maintenance monitor on my automobile appeared since the reset was forgotten. This occurred around one week after the previous service.

The all-wheel drive system provides a satisfying and stable driving experience. Despite its weight, the confidence is quite amazing. -

If money is not a factor, I would choose the newer option. The disparity in acceleration would be imperceptible, the carbon can be easily added, and the absence of one button on the steering wheel is acceptable. -

Congratulations, motorman3! It's great to learn that modifications may be performed to an MB without the need to purchase a new Engine Control Unit (ECU) or have the vehicle connected to STAR diagnostic system for an extended period of time. Are you feeling bored with these already? 🤔 🙂
