Greetings, everyone. I have a 2007 Mercedes C220 Cdi Elegance Se and I am looking for a way to safely place my daughter in the front seat with me, despite having a car seat, since I have discovered that the airbag on the passenger side cannot be deactivated. I am inquiring if the 3 ohm resistor method is effective for the airbag plug or whether a specific kind is required. Furthermore, I would want to confirm whether I do own the Babysmart item as well. I am unable to deactivate the airbag. Despite searching extensively, I have been unable to locate the MB car seats, which are located far away. In my opinion, using a resistor seems like a safer alternative. What is the official name of this technology from Mercedes? Is it really BabySmart? π€ππΌππΌππΌ

Washing - soap leaking into engine compartment

Apply painter's tape over the vents, avoid directing water directly to the vent region, and use a vehicle blow dryer afterward. Water only enters when I open the back window to clean the carbon fibre. -
Is purchasing a Blackvue DR590X for my EQS a wise decision?

Agreed. My most recent 'incident' would have seemed to be my responsibility if not for the back camera. -

If you have a cloud-enabled BV camera, you may connect it to a Wi-Fi network to upload data to the cloud. My device is linked to my home wifi network, allowing it to upload data once I get home. I see no obstacle to tethering it to your phone for the same purpose. They also broadcast their own wi-fi SSID for direct connection with your phone to access saved video. -

I own the two-channel BlackVue and have no complaints about it. -
Scrubbed the 2 pipes thoroughly. Twisted them around but found no fractures. Removed the rust and reinstalled. The intercooler shows no apparent damage and continues to emit smoke with wide-open throttle. Require the rain to cease so I can examine the throttle side of the pipes while someone presses the pedal. Would observing for any disruptions after coating the area with chalk or talcum powder be effective?

Hello everyone, I am seeking assistance as I have been attempting to resolve this issue for a period of two weeks. My automobile did not pass its MOT due to pollution. A little puff of smoke is emitted when the tester revs the engine forcefully. I lack illumination. No codes are permitted as a result. The DPF indicates a 28% fill level with 0 ash and 0 soot. The performance is flawless. I have not experienced any decrease in power; she flies! I typically get 45 to 50 miles per gallon during the last four years. 2 oil changes, a full tank of V-power, an engine clean, and a decarbonisation. When removing the silver tubing connecting the EGR to the intake near the throttle to clean it, I discovered that one of the nuts was loose. The pipe was coated with moist debris. Removed and cleaned all components before reassembling with new gaskets. No change. I have been informed that the issue may be attributed to either an injector leak or a boost leak. Would it trigger a diagnostic trouble code or result in decreased fuel efficiency? I am planning to have a leak down test performed on the injectors, but this particular issue is really perplexing me! Has anybody experienced anything similar? Thank you

Is it necessary to programme a vehicle battery?
BENZE220AMG replied to BENZE220AMG's topic in General Car Chat
It is posited that coding is intended for contemporary vehicles equipped with start-stop functionality. The user expresses the need to inform the vehicle's system about the installation of a new battery and instruct it to operate as if it were a newly installed battery. -

That is a valid suggestion. It is essential to arrange for the vehicle to be scheduled for maintenance in order to facilitate the replacement of the injectors. I anticipate that, via the implementation of a jump start and a robust driving regimen, the battery will retain its charge. However, I am also preparing for the possibility of the worst-case scenario. -
Greetings, everyone. A novel occurrence has now emerged, formerly unfamiliar to my observation. One of my acquaintances own an R172 SLK 250 cdi vehicle equipped with start-stop technology. The individual in question has refrained from using the vehicle for a duration of around six months, resulting in the depletion of the battery's charge. Upon doing internet research, it has been determined that the aforementioned vehicle is equipped with an AGM battery, specifically designed to cater to start-stop functionality. In addition to its substantial cost of Β£150, the product description of Halfords Start/Stop batteries asserts that these batteries are supplied in a fully charged state and are prepared for immediate installation. It is highly suggested to have the batteries registered with the on-board computer system of most cars, so expert installation at a Halfords shop is advised. It is appropriate that they impose a fee of Β£25. I own a trade card that enables me to get the battery for a cost of Β£120, and typically, I would do the installation process myself. I am unable to locate any relevant web resources pertaining to the subject of coding. Has there been any recent instances of battery replacement? We express our gratitude for your input.

I own a 2017 C250 d AMG Line Saloon, and I have observed that the rear tyres on my vehicle have a very limited lifespan, lasting barely 4,000 km. The Pirelli Cint P7 tyre model. Is this considered typical and are there other tyre options that may be more

The argument you have raised is properly articulated and deserving of acknowledgement.
