The maps in the new automobile are significantly outdated.

Similarly, I would not be willing to spend $1 on GPS for a car that already has Android Auto/Apple Carplay, since these alternatives are superior (assuming one has access to affordable and accessible mobile phone service). Evidently, Google is currently developing a Heads-Up Display (HUD) integration system; however, it is unlikely to be compatible with any pre-existing automobiles. -

CS is equipped with a tuner that does not have turbo functionality.Upon inspection, it has been determined that the item is intended for use with non-turbo engines. -

I anticipate that CorkSport has conducted dyno testing on their product. Initiate communication with them and enquire about their response. -
The battery flat alarm has begun, marking the start of an unwelcome event. Last Saturday, the vehicle was driven for about 50 miles. On Sunday, I vacuumed the mats and carpets. However, on Monday, I received a notice on the dashboard indicating that the battery needs to be recharged. I promptly contacted my local dealer, as my vehicle is still covered by warranty. After reading the message multiple times to fully comprehend it, the dealer informed me that if I clean the car or use a hoover with the door open, the LED courtesy light will deplete the battery. To prevent this from happening again, I should carry out these tasks while the engine is running. I assure you without any exaggeration.. My greatest regret is purchasing this dilapidated item.

Experiencing dissatisfaction with the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid, is it now advisable to replace it with the 2024 CX-90 PHEV? However, I am now facing a multitude of inquiries and doing extensive study. I am in need of assistance.

I completely concur... There are excellent offers available for plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) models with low mileage. Undoubtedly the most cost-effective option. -

It is incorrect to claim that there is no longer any battery assistance. When the electric range indicator indicates "zero," around 20% of the battery capacity remains. Your PHEV will maintain the hybrid battery of your car above the 20% threshold. Unless you engage in activities like as prolonged uphill driving on mountain roads or consistently drive in sport mode, relying heavily on boost in typical daily scenarios, it is quite unlikely that you would completely deplete your hybrid battery. The one instance in which I operated a PHEV with a completely depleted battery occurred during a test drive at the dealership. The item was in pristine condition and, as far as I knew, it had not been powered or used since its delivery. Despite being in Sport mode, the vehicle lacked power (although it was still sufficient, and I still drove it on the highway). Nevertheless, I requested the dealer to completely charge the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), and I developed a strong affection for its PHEV powertrain. Regarding mileage, I charge my vehicle's battery everyday and my round-trip commuting distance is 26 miles. Even while travelling at high speeds on the interstate, often between 65 and 75 miles per hour, I consistently get an average fuel efficiency of between 45 to 48 miles per gallon. -

Thank you! I would consider leaving it unpainted, since it is located behind the plate. I like the concept of having a more enclosed appearance, similar to what you have done. I purchased a tow hook plate kit from the online marketplace, Amazon. Does the tow hook bar seem little unstable until it is fully threaded? Is this consistent with your experience?
-
From where did you get the front tow hook cover? I am able to identify the component number, but I am now facing difficulties in finding information on how to make a purchase and ensure that it is the correct item.
-
Have you just purchased another plate, drilled holes in it, and painted it?
-
Did you ultimately choose to use a tow hook plate mount? I purchased one and contemplated whether to use a cover or keep it uncovered. I am curious to know what you ultimately decided.

I feel the same way! Currently, I use Android Auto for navigation assistance.

I would use the CTEK charger on the Mazda vehicle. I too own a Corvette equipped with a CTEK system. The CTEK charger on my C8 vehicle connects to the power outlet, also known as the cigarette lighter jack. I am unsure whether this charger would be compatible with the Mazda. It may be necessary to get an adaptor. It is not advisable to disconnect the ground, since doing so would result in the loss of all your settings. I would just connect the CTEK charger to the battery. For what it's worth, I have just returned home after a three-week journey. After being idle for a period of 3 weeks, my Mazda displayed a warning indicating the need to drive in order to recharge the battery upon my arrival home. I operated the vehicle for a few hours, doing various tasks and also spending some time on the highway. It has been a week since I returned home and I have not had the mistake again. I suspect that your previous battery was faulty, despite the dealer's inability to identify the issue.

Rectification of lanes, firmware, and driving mode
honeycut_mazda5 replied to HOV's topic in General Car Chat
It is important to note that using the off-road mode on regular roads for everyday driving is not recommended, since it puts excessive strain on the automobile and might accelerate its deterioration compared to other driving modes. While I am not an authority on the subject, I would suggest refraining from using it in any context other than off-road situations. -

Advanced driver assistance systems

I will continue to use my "basic" 12-year-old Sportage. I have rented two contemporary vehicles equipped with these assistance features and I really dislike them. At the age of 73, I may only be able to sustain my physical and mental faculties until my "sensors" cease to function.
