  1. I have experienced numerous. However, the most exasperating situation occurs when I drop my children off and the rear seat belt alert incessantly sounds.
  2. I reduced my vehicle from a fully equipped 2022 Ram 1500 Limited, since my driving frequency has diminished due to persistent medical ailments following a motor vehicle accident. I long for the truck. The rationale behind the aforementioned statement should provide you with insights into my sentiments towards the subsequent matters. The cabin noise is intolerable. Mazda installed sound-dampening glass in the front windows, but did not implement similar measures for the back windows. I am unable to converse via Bluetooth without receiving comments from others. I have never had that issue with the Ram. 2) Although the CX-70 is an SUV, I perceive a lack of room conducive to the driver (I am 6'4" and weigh 240 lbs). The test drives were satisfactory; nevertheless, prolonged usage reveals these deficiencies. The panoramic sunroof appears illogical, at least from my perspective. I enjoyed having it accessible on the Ram. The sunroof extended above the driver's head, imparting a feeling of openness and liberty. For a corporation that values the driver's experience, I am perplexed by their decision to position it so far back. The anterior edge of the glass commences directly posterior to my forehead. It will go unnoticed. Also, the manner it opens is absurd and you’ll be compelled to close it at 45-50km/h owing to the sheer noise from the wind resistance. The drive is enjoyable and exceptional. It is a large vehicle, yet remarkably agile. You will perceive every bump, sense the contours of the road, and it accelerates remarkably in sport mode. I operate in two modes. Transitioning between electric vehicles and sports, contingent upon my mood. Sport is dynamic, possesses mechanisms, and is enjoyable; nonetheless, the battery depletes rapidly. I utilise an electric vehicle in urban areas and during peak traffic hours. I installed a level 2 charger, confident in my commitment to electrification, even if I return to Ram - it is entirely worthwhile. I leased it, aware that it was a temporary vehicle. I paid off my Ram and considered purchasing a smaller car, but I was reluctant to make that commitment after driving a full-size pickup for 20 years. It is enjoyable and can be a prudent investment if you are willing to accept the imperfections. While it is not flawless, the acclaim it receives is justified due to its driving characteristics. I would characterise it as a respectable vehicle, however not as commendable as the reports suggest, save from its driving characteristics.
  3. The pumps contain a fine mesh filter within the housing, which becomes obstructed with time, causing the pump to exert excessive effort and ultimately fail. It appears that the relay might have prevented this issue; however, I recommend removing the pump housings at your earliest convenience to replace the mesh filter. On my previous E55, the vehicle would achieve optimal performance during regular driving; but, on a dynamometer under stress, the fuel pumps exhibited weakness and the air-fuel ratio fluctuated significantly. Upon the replacement of the pumps, the car was transformed; it felt like an entirely different engine. I possess a thread located here at some point.
  4. Always utilise my method; it is detrimental to place the vehicle in park and rest against the gears. My M4 has a specific sequence: engage the handbrake, wait a few seconds, shift into drive, then turn off the engine, or alternatively, shift into neutral, engage the handbrake, turn off the engine and then press again to shut down. This prevents the parking mechanism from merely resting on the gears, which I have been informed is poor practice.
  5. Welcome to another 420i owner. 🙂
  6. I am uncertain, unfortunately. However, the "Emergency Eject" seems intriguing.
  7. Thank you; I will examine those options. I must clarify that I was likely not very explicit in the original post (which I am unable to amend) when I said "hesitating under load." The vehicle exhibits hesitation or stalling when I accelerate significantly in a high gear at low RPM, almost causing the engine to stop.
  8. Thank you; I performed the filters when the tank was removed for welding around six years ago. I suspected fuel starvation, since after a significant pause, it seemed to operate on three cylinders until I pulled over and restarted the engine. During that period, my Arduino MPG gauge, which receives input from the VSS and a single injector, ceased displaying fuel data, as if the injector was inactive.
  9. Hello, my dependable W202 2.0 petrol vehicle has begun to exhibit hesitation while under load. I presume the issue pertains to the plugs, coil(s), or injector(s)? I will begin by replacing the spark plugs, since I neglected to remember they had been in place for almost 50,000 miles. It is likely that diagnostics should be addressed by a local individual in Surrey with STAR expertise. As the vehicle is 25 years old, I am eager to do the repairs myself.
  10. I highly suggest the Ctek charger, which also has a 'recon' mode. It may be worth considering. If you want to replace the battery, check that the new one is coded to the vehicle; otherwise, the alternator may overcharge the new battery.
  11. Contact comandonline.co.uk by phone or email with your VIN; they will retrieve the information and provide guidance, since they are recognized authorities on all matters pertaining to MB ICE.
  12. You may either consult your local MB dealer or explore eBay (I opted for the eBay option).
  13. If you have not changed the gearbox fluid after all this time, I would strongly recommend doing so. The quality of the brake fluid is dubious. Carbon deposits at 20,000 miles? This suggests that they removed the intake tube and conducted a visual examination of the throttle body. I own significant scepticism about it. If I were in your position, I would seek a reliable independent garage.
  14. 12.61 volts after an overnight period of inactivity. That will suffice enough.
  15. I was previously unaware of it, but the Ctek has been operating for just seventy-five minutes and has reached Stage 7 (Float). Strangely, the voltmeter indicates only 12.98 volts between the Ctek terminals and the charging posts, although it should register 13.5 volts. I believe there is no cause for concern, given the rapid charging of the battery.
  16. After twenty-four hours, it has decreased to 12.44 volts. The voltage decrease is 0.07 volts; although this may seem little, if my battery charge chart is accurate, with 12.5 volts indicating 90% charge and 12.42 volts representing 80% charge, I should maybe be rather worried.
  17. It was charged just by trickle while I was using it. The battery is located behind the driver's seat, making it difficult to access, therefore preventing me from verifying its date. The importer, without prompting, informed me that accessing the battery was quite challenging, particularly since they initially searched for it beneath the passenger seat. This suggests that they researched the procedure for a left-hand drive vehicle and confirms that the battery has indeed been replaced. What was the reason behind its flatness? I am uncertain. Terry Gates proposed that the malfunction of the tailgate might have resulted on a battery depletion. After standing overnight for eighteen hours, it displayed 12.51 volts at the charging terminals under the hood today, indicating it may be functioning properly presently. I am monitoring it closely.
  18. The 2007 ML 63 Japanese import I just acquired had remained stationary for a week, connected to a trickle charger while I was familiarizing myself with the new head unit (still in the process...), but had not been operated otherwise. Last Monday, I attempted to deliver it to Terry Gates for tailgate repairs, but the electrical system was completely nonfunctional—no unlocking, no illumination on the dashboard, and the key would not turn in the ignition. I effortlessly jump-started it using the other ML, then drove it to Harrow, which took around thirty-five minutes. It was not charged throughout the period it was being serviced, and I retrieved it on Friday. It began satisfactorily. The importer asserts that they installed a new battery, and I believe this assertion to be accurate. The inquiry is if a brief duration of somewhat more than thirty minutes suffices to totally recharge a depleted battery, or whether the electrical system is designed to deactivate at a certain voltage to avert total battery drain.
  19. The item in the advertisement I referenced seems to be functional as well.
  20. Affirmative. I periodically retrieve the glove from one and make a call to maintain the PAYG account. However, it seldom requires recharging.
  21. We own a minimum of two Nokias stored at Chez Spiky; Edit: we have three, one of which serves as an emergency phone in Mrs. Spiky's automobile glovebox.
  22. The cradle in my R129 is affixed to an extension of the central console, which, to my knowledge, is an original Mercedes-Benz component. I am uncertain about how it is preserved, but I choose not to eliminate it and maybe discover underlying damage.
  23. https://www.4starclassics.com/for-sale/mercedes-c215-cl600-for-sale/
  24. It is priced at 17K and includes a CL600.
